We gave them our info and medications to get a quote and they told us they couldn't help us with no explanation or further questioning.

If you're the sort of person who fancies putting pen to paper, this is your spot. Most recently, I wandered into Paperie and Pen during the holidays in search of Christmas cards from a local letter press. They had a beautiful supply of individual and boxed holiday card sets from a variety of small letterpresses. After some searching, I found some lovely options from local letterpress, Ladybug Press. With my boxes in hand, I began to venture toward the cash register. But, wait! Are those local tees from Banana Ink? Yes. Yes, they are. They have a nice selection of locally printed tees. Banana Ink works with local artists and designers to create a line of Idaho inspired tees, hoodies, hats, and other wearables. And, while, you could make the trip to downtown Boise to their shop to pick something up--it's nice to know that their stuff can be found in Meridian as well! I was able to find an awesome tee for a Christmas gift. I also noticed that they carry a range of beard products from local barber shop, The Beardsmith. A little unlikely, perhaps, but pretty awesome to see this local business so supportive of other local businesses (really amazing ones to boot!). They also do a variety of fun and crafty workshops on occasion (ie: In February, they're offering a Modern Calligraphy workshop). Such a gem of a stationary shop! I look forward to wandering in each and every time I find myself making the trip from Boise to The Village. Get to it!

They have jewelry, baby items, cards that were hilarious and love the personal touch he's and how real the cards are. They have some cool stuff for Men if you wanna gift something. Their jewelry selection is very minimalistic and simple yet elegant from different vendors. We ended up getting the cutest Toy for our dog that's a shape of Idaho holding a cute little potato and a few stickers for our truck. You need to check this store out in Downtown area if you are looking to pick up some gifts for friends or family the quality of the items is def great and not cheap. When we checked out the girls up front were very friendly and helpful.

You can not not come out of this store empty handed. There are just too many goodies here. We came here after brunch today. Coming up to the store, they had a couple racks of beautiful succulents on display. I would have loved to purchase all of them but as simple it is to keeping succulents alive, I have a special talent for killing them. Walking into the store, you are immediately overwhelmed with all the little things everywhere! You don't even know where to being to look at but eventually you'll either go left or right. We made our way through this fun store. Mixed Greens is a big novelty store for adults! The store is filled with everything you can think of. I loved looking at nick nacks. Everything was just so prettily placed and delicately staged. From cooking utensils to hand held fishing grips to gemstones, it was hard not to touch everything. You can literally spend hours in this store and still miss something. We snagged a couple things for my mother in law for mother's day. It's nice knowing that her gifts didn't come from your everyday store. If you're looking for a unique gift or a treat for yourself, Mixed Greens is your go to joint to hit up. There's something for everyone in this store and it's great.

I'm a huge sci-fi fan and love all things Star Trek and Star Wars. Seeing life-sized cutouts of Kirk and Spock definitely sets the mood. As a lovely parting gift, my cousin bought me a Boise High Life T-shirt there. Next time I'm in Boise, I'll be back (although I don't remember seeing any Terminator stuff there but there very well might have been some!).

I thought that was so kind! I was locking up shop when Mike formally introduced himself to me. It was nice to have him go out of his way to talk to me. We chatted and me noticed my Hello Kitty purse. Of course he told me they had Hello Kityu goodies in the store. Even though they weren't quite open yet, Mike invited me in to check out the store! What a neat venue! It was almost overwhelming trying to look at everything! They have so much to look from Harry Potter, Marvel, socks to stickers. I made my way to the Hello Kitty area. They have a sorts of Sanrio goodies. Crystal also showed me other Hello Kitty goodies that they had. She was so sweet! I appreciate her taking the time to show me other products they had! This store is legit the coolest in town. In addition to them being so dope, they also have the best people working there! If you're looking for a cool spot to buy pop culture products. Well, maybe not entirely classical as there was a bit of Katy Perry's "Fight Song" set to violin and that was pretty sweet too. Add the friendly "welcome to the store" when we walked in (through the music section...and they have vinyl records there...do people still play vinyl...I remember when it was the only option) and we were inclined to like this B&N right out of the gate. All of the constructive criticism offered by Charles F in his good review are spot on. This is like a gigantic swap meet in some respects too with the old records and he racks and bins of deep discount books along with best sellers. But depending on what one is looking for, that could come in handy too. And then there is the huge selection of their regular stock. And a big children's section if you are trying to encourage children to learn the value and delights of holding a good old fashioned book in their hands and diving into the world of possibilities books hold for them. We went in for what we thought would be an hour and but for needing to be somewhere else, we reluctantly left two hours later with still more shopping we could have done. The customer service people were very helpful too. There was a specific book in which I was interested and while they had one on the shelf the book was damaged. Or as the service person says, "This looks manhandled." Yep. And since I plan to display it, that is a problem. She offered to order another one for us and have it delivered to our home or to the store. Nice. We took her up on it. Coffee bar is "set up" but there is a ramp on one side. Standard height seating in coffee area. Accessible loo for him and her. 3) COFFEE BAR: We didn't sample the brew or snacks there, but there is a coffee bar in the middle of the store that appears to offer both Seattle's Best and Starbuck's. Several tables with chairs and a few stools at a high counter. The tables had lots of people reading and working at them.
