Mr. Bailey the owner came to my home for an estimate to install sand and finish hardwood floors on the second floor of my home . I agreed to the terms . The same week he delivered the wood to acclimate for 4 days to insure proper installation. The crew was prompt on timely and cleanliness. The project went smooth and is absolutely beautiful. There was a mix-up the first time and they did the basic pet treatment. But they came back, did the advanced (deeper) enzyme treatment I had originally booked, and refunded me for the hassle, which I really appreciated. Both times the techs were pleasant and efficient. I also appreciated that, prior to treatment, they used a black light to thoroughly assess the problem. One thing to know is that the smell can actually get worse for a few days after deep enzyme cleaning (which really surprised me!). Keeping the windows closed at first, then airing out, running two air purifiers on turbo, and vacuuming thoroughly really helped. Vacuuming is so important because it lifts leftover VOC particles that cause "ghost smell" even after enzyme treatment. I also used an odor powder (Rocco & Roxie) over the carpet, left it for 24 hours, then vacuumed again. Blocking off the area with aluminum foil and barriers helped stop my cat from re-marking the same spots too. In the end, Citrus Fresh helped me save my carpet. I'd recommend them -- just know to stick with it, ask for the advanced treatment and be patient if you have a tough pet mess like mine!

My wife and I were in the process of having our dream home built. As part of the process we had to…read moremeet with Regina Ostrom with Five Star Flooring, to select our backsplash and flooring. My wife had a vision of an all white kitchen with gray flooring, so when Regina presented the options, which were limited to a panel of four flooring options, she immediately inquired about gray flooring. We were told that these were the ONLY options the builder would allow. Again, we inquired multiple times about other options and even asked, "if these are our only options". Which her response was, "yes". Being the persistent person my wife is, she specifically inquired about the LVP flooring, for color options and the fact we have a dog and were worried about the hardwood being easily scratched. Which she responded, "the builder would not allow because it brings down the value of the home". And brought out polish to show us what to use on scratches for the hardwood flooring. A few months later on a visit to the house to check on the progress, the counters were being installed and we were advised to go to the house next door to get an idea of what it would look like. To our surprise and shock, they had a hardwood flooring option that we were not presented with and had that been the case, we would have selected that flooring option because it was the color we were looking for. When we spoke to Regina about why we weren't presented with this particular option she said, "I should have said something" and "I didn't offer upgrade options because you never said you didn't like the floors". However, we did inquire about other options multiple times and asked if these were our ONLY options, and was never offered any other options or upgrades. She also mentioned our budget, which we never disclosed to her. We can only conclude she made an assumption about what we were willing to spend, and I'm not really sure what that assumption was based on, which is another concern. Interestingly enough, we were presented with multiple upgrade options for backsplash in our kitchen and tile floors without asking. During a follow up conversation with Regina to see what could be done, she responded with "there is nothing I can do and you will need to speak with the owner." Regina stated that she would provide my contact information to him and he would call me Monday morning. Unfortunately, I never got to speak with the manager. While the floors are GREAT quality, it just wasn't our first option, and wished we were treated better than how Regina treated us. The customer service wasn't a great experience. That is why we wouldn't recommend this company. We do know builders contract this company and you may not be able to get around that. If not, just be sure you ASK TO SEE THE UPGRADES.

If you don't mind your water flowing into your bathroom from a poorly installed shower floor, and…read moreif you don't mind that the corners and floor seams were not properly caulked, and if you don't mind that grout was splattered all over the walls and left to dry on it, and if you don't mind that they refused to even come and look at the problem, and if you don't mind they never had their boss call you back, then this is the place for you. We did indeed go past the one year warranty (though I was never told of this policy), but COVID hit and workers to finish the plumbing weren't available and my own regular plumber had knee replacement surgery then a heart attack so we only finished the bathroom in December (2 1/2 years after the flooring was put in). The day after our plumbing was finished, I tried out my new shower and stood there and watched the water pouring out into the bathroom floor. I have invoices showing that the plumber finished the job on Thursday, took a showerr on Friday morning, then called the flooring company. He said they would not even come look at it because they were not responsible. Then insulted me by suggesting that my house might have some issues that caused the problem. If anyone suggests you hire this company, run away as fast as possible. Now I'm stuck with paying to have the old tile removed, floor atlered to give it a slope toward the drain instead of the door, and then buying all new tile and paying for that installation. I'm surprised they can stay in business. If I could give them a minus 5 stars that's what my review would be.

They both speak with confidence and back it up with ability. I interviewed at least 3 painters before I chose them. Their references were really good. I checked out their nice website, as well. Our kitchen and bathroom had wallpaper to be removed, there are holes to be patched and dinginess everywhere. Some of the other painters told me about the shortcuts they would take and promised me I would never notice. I bet I will. Some painters had names for their companies but I knew I would be writing the check to the painter because there is no real company. I check all of that stuff out. But Priceless Painting Plus is a real company, it has insurance, it has a written warranty of its work, etc. Trae is very specific about what I'm paying for. It shows in the written itemization of his quote. They communicate so very well that I am never confused. I had Manuel for almost a year and suddenly, the wife stopped returning my text messages after she tried to overcharge me for picking up leaves Manuel had failed to pick up. This was my first Fall in Georgia. I assume the gardener will clean up the leaves and dispose them. Instead, Manuel created a wall of leaves between my property and my neighbors's. I called their number to ask for the leaves to be either bagged or be taken away yet the wife was snarky and told me it's impossible for Manuel to take the leaves of all the houses he maintains. I offer to buy bags and they came to pick up the leaves yet the wife tried to charge me an extra $120 for that after the weekly fee I paid them. After I asked for clarification, she stopped responding and it has now been 3 weeks. I had been paying them what they ask for weekly maintenance so I expect for the maintenance to take place. Another issue I had was they charge for everything as an extra, even if one asks small plants to be cut or removed. Make sure you ask upfront what their fee includes. I felt Manuel Just was focused on cutting the lawn and nothing else unless I constantly had to ask the wife about what needed to be done. Quite honestly, it's too much work to be dealing with his wife. She seems to be temperamental and also very rude for not returning my texts.

We had builder grade gas logs that died. This led me to the discovery that repair or replacement of…read morea gas fireplace ia a somewhat niche business that Archer and very few others do. Archer was one of several quotes - and be careful when dealing in this area- but came in as one of the lower ones. However, replacement of a gas fireplace is NOT a cheap project. Patrick Archer was our salesman and Sean did the work with one of his assistants. Watching the installation, I felt a bit better about the price tag - Sean was literally going in and out of a 10" by10" hole - multiple times - he is a human ferret. They pulled everything out including the exterior vent (the 10 x 10 hole), replaced the exterior siding, installed the new unit, fixed the drywall, hooked everything up to the gas line, and re-tiled. The work was excellent and was a lot more involved than I would have thought. The only complication was that initially the logs would not reliably light, but the company was responsive and sent out a tech who adjusted the positioning which fixed it (something about airflow). And we don't have the manual for the logs which makes the remote functionality a bit hit and miss sometimes since we don't have the instructions, but we're working on it and have a request in to the company. Recommended.
