Men's Wearhouse

First a small precursor; I had an unfortunate Funeral to go to. So I walked into the closet and put…read morethe suit on... it didn't fit! Not even close (I blame the wife's good cooking). But I went to the store in a rushed/bad mood. So rushing out the door I head to Men's Warehouse over on Baldwin. I walk in the door and am immediately greeted by Mr. Torre Brown. I explained my situation and that I'd like a two button black or charcoal suit. He quickly took my measurements and Pulled a few suits. He was very patient and had great recommendations while moving through the various suit jackets. In the end, we arrived at a nice dark Charcol suit that looked great. Feeling cheeky and happy with the current service as well as the small amount of time spent in the store so far. I elected to go for the buy one get one free deal that's always going on it seems (Not complaining here). He quickly brought out a few suits and I immediately went for a lighter gray with large check pattern. Sold! looked very nice. Torre being the salesman that he is also pulled a sports coat that was clearance from 300.00 to 150.00 and discovered I also had other possible discounts possible for said Sports jacket due to the current amount currently being spent and item combination being bought. The end result was a very nice sports coat for 70.00. A coat that my wife loves! by the way. In total, I sent about 1000.00 on two suits, one sports coat, two ties, and a fitted shirt. Suits were on the higher end for Men's warehouse. I saved 980.00 and earned another 100.00 of in-store credit. This 100.00 ended up going towards another sports jacket that was again 300.00 clearance to 150.00. Add the 100.00 credit and I walked away with another nice Jacket for 50.00 bucks! All in all my first visit went great and I increased the wardrobe for future events. Now comes my suit pickups (after tailoring) Torre put me ahead of the line and I had the Dark Charcol suit done in 2 days. It fit great and off I went, pretty uneventful visit but just what I needed considering the current family situation. My third visit for the last suit, however, had a small issue (Not all things come to a perfect ending). My suit was scheduled to arrive the next day instead of what was written on the slip (no suit for me today). The product of poor hand writing or reading (pick one). Torre being a standup kind of Man explained the situation, took full blame and credited me for my time (I asked for no credit, He simply wanted to ensure I was happy). I have no issue with this and appreciated the honest/professional way he handled the situation. I will be picking the suit up tomorrow and am still very happy. The one issue that happened was handled so well it prompted me to actually write a review (this is not the norm for me). The quality of clothing seems to be up from a few years ago with more options for a younger crowd (Men's Warehouse isn't for just grandpa anymore), the team is very patient and knowledgeable. On all of my visits, I had multiple salesmen/saleswomen ask me if I was being helped. I see some negative comments bellow. I would entice you all who had a bad experience with this location to try again next time your in the need for a suit or classic men's attire. These issues seem to have been resolved from my experience these past few weeks. TLDR; Excellent service and professionalism. I enjoyed my visit and the deals I received. Clothing quality seems up from a few years ago as well as selection.

Denise's Bridal saved the day! Our back story... We…read morepurchased my daughters wedding dress in a highly rated bridal shop. However, after the third fitting in the shop, we were still unhappy with the results. My daughter said the front looked like it was off centered and the back of the dress, that had a low back, was gapping. Also, the bustle seemed to be too long in the back, easily a trip hazard when dancing. The seamstress from the shop said we would have to use body tape to avoid the gapping, especially since there was no lace to hide the gaps. My daughter normally wears a size 2-4. This was not the look of the sleek designer dress, with clean lines we bought. We were told basically there was nothing more could be done, except press the dress and to come back for our 4th fitting one week away from the wedding date. I started searching for highly-rated seamstress' and was lucky to find Denise's Bridal. Denise took us in, 2 weeks before the wedding. She spent an hour or more with my daughter with her dress on, asking questions, listening and explaining to us what she would alter, and how much time it would take, and the cost. We found out the front of the dress was previously altered 2 1/2" longer on one side in the front of the dress then the other side (thus my daughters concern about it looking off-centered). Denise said she could fix the front, alter the bustle to the correct length, clean up the back bow, and make sure there were no gaps in the back--and that after buying an expensive designer dress--a bride should not have to use body tape. Denise did excellent work the dress looked exquisite, fit beautifully, tailor-made, centered with no gaps in the back (no need for body tape), dancing in it was a breeze. Thank You Denise! You truly saved the dress and the day! We are forever grateful ! Thank you for your fine skill and craftsmanship!

At Bridal Expos and online, you usually get bombarded with the chain Menswear places to do your business with for your wedding day (like I did). The styles at these places were bland and I wanted something different. I stumbled upon Sam Michael's and from my first visit (of probably 5 or 6 in total), I was hooked! Walking in here for the first time, I didn't know what to expected. I explained that I was getting married, and 8 groomsmen and 2 parents that needed suits. I was sat down and shown all of my different rental options, which included suits, tuxes, pants, ties, shoes and other accessories. So many decisions, but I was granted the ability to stay there and think carefully, but also explained to that I can change it as many times as I want up to a month or so before the wedding date. Attached are some pictures of the suit I picked for myself and my groomsmen. It was a brand new suit in their inventory that they personally owned, as well as the color choice for my accents (pocket square and tie). Michael and team were very professional through the entire process. We had multiple texts and phone calls back and forth during my moving of our wedding date as well as when my accent color was discontinued. After the wedding was all said and done, I was granted a $500 shopping spree on a suit set of my choice. That was really exciting and I got a nice blue, checkered patterned suit. Initially the suit was advertised to me as "slightly more expensive" but better quality and service than competitors. After we allocated our wedding finances after we got married, at Sam Michael's, I actually spent LESS than what I budgeted and LESS than a competitor I was initially going to go with. Totally worth it here! Thank you Mike and team for everything! I felt like family every time I walked in. No errors or resizing for any of us during our pick ups.
