I called the local Bowlero number, and was redirected to book a reservation ( press 1, & you get corporate)... Long story short, I found out that if you say YES to the salesperson asking if your celebrating ANYTHING, they tack on 21% which for my group was almost $100 extra, (they don't tell you this). I asked if that came with decorations? NOPE Cake? NOPE... so please be cautious and just book a reservation if necessary.. they still tack on 10%, which is ridiculous, so it's best to just walk in if you can. In my case I couldn't afford to be turned away for a lack of lanes, so it cost me $40 extra for basically nothing. PROS: Here's the great part that earned 5 stars; once we arrived, we had the most amazing service, care, and "little extras" everywhere. The local Bowlero doesn't cheap-ass like corporate. They had to move our reservation, so they offered some free food. Drinks and shots were VERY generous, if we had an issue Rob ( Mgr) was all over it, and made sure we were happy. Kimmy and Samantha were fun, friendly bartenders, and Samantha even iced my wine glass since the chardonnay wasn't cold yet. Mya was very attentive with food & drinks, and served our chicken strips in a warmer, since it was a huge order .. we enjoyed them for hours. I noticed that this Visalia group treated every customer with warmth, care, and respect. I am dually impressed, and will be back.. IN PERSON.. no reservations... lol.

The young lady who is was behind the bar, unfortunately had the most nasty attitude. When we were walking up, we heard her having a conversation with other another worker and in that conversation, she was cussing, loudly. I get that she's an adult and all but this is also a family establishment. You would think that she would think about that. when we walked up, she said what can I get you in a very dry way. She wasn't very friendly at all during the entire interaction. I feel like she was more interested in continuing the conversation that she was having with her coworker she rushed us off, and it just was a completely different feeling from the servers and the rest of staff. I did end up asking the server at our lane what her name was, since none of them have name badges. he said Vanessa. Either way I really love the games and the bowling. It's a ton of fun all the other servers and the staff at the front. We're great. It's just the bar. It was just such a different vibe. You can either keep a tab at the bar or they have servers that come by your bowling lane if you want more drinks or food. Everything was super easy to set up, and I loved their music selection and the TVs on the back wall showing the baseball game. It was nine dollars per person, per game. I wasn't wearing any socks when we arrived, but they do offer socks that you get to keep for a small fee. I definitely come back, especially knowing that they offer leagues, any membership passes, and tons of activities for the kids here. Plus in the heat of the summer, It's nice to be in air-conditioned business where you can drink at 11am and no one looks at you funny.

And we find out the next day from Tere the event coordinator that there's an automatic gratuity charge of %20 on each guest tab because we are a party.. which was very unfortunate because we were not told that and we were still tipping her at the end on the card. Randy was the only one who told me when signing my contract and paying remaining balance that there's an automatic tip no need to tip. But I didn't know it applied to all my guest tabs when they were ordering drinks as well. Very inconvenient and the event coordinator should let people know there's automatic gratuity for everyone in your party and every transaction because you guys are a party. The managers were amazing but the server was not the best at all. And now I know for the future and I'll make sure to share that if you book a party here request two servers and that there's automatic gratuity in each transaction we do because we are a party.
