I signed up my daughter…read morelast week on Monday 6th, 2023 because I was told she'd be in a 5:45 class for 4-5 by the owner Mr. Edgar Villegas. Sure the class doesn't let you see your kid while they dance (there is a curtain blocking the windows and one mom told they only open it some days which is lowkey kind of creepy) but I gave it the benefit of the doubt because Edgar appeared warm and welcoming that first day even offering my daughter a lollipop. My daughter has prior experience dancing in LA and just recently did wonderful at a recital. I explained all this to Edgar and even showed him a picture of her recieving a medal. My daughter is deaf from one ear but in her class in LA she never had to wear her hearing aide because it was never a problem. The teacher in LA had her in the front row in a small class of six. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go today Monday, 13, 2023 as I was caught up at work and had my mom take her instead. Sadly the nice experience I had BEFORE I paid last Monday was apparently nonexistent today. My mother claimed she witnessed Edgar being rude to my daughter through a crack in the curtain as he measured her with a measuring tape from the middle of her private parts to the top of her shoulder (which I guess is normal for fitting l even though the other teacher in LA knew their size just by eyeing them) and also overhead him talk negatively of my daughter to other parents after the class stating quote "she said she had experience and had danced in another class before but I don't think so she's not ready for a recital...." I wasn't present so I called Edgar and told him what my mom said and he denied it was about my daughter stating he spoke directly to the parent about their kid. I almost believed him but then right after he said he actually wanted to talk to me because he felt my four year old daughter needed to be moved to a class for two year olds because she "doesn't listen" and kept "jumping around." I told Edgar before I paid to sign her up that she's deaf and needed to be in the front of the class to be able hear properly to which he agreed. But today it was a class of thirteen or more kids so my daughter ended up all the way in the back. It's just strange that all of a sudden I confront him about possibly being unprofessional and he suggests this now. I even told Edgar I can just put her hearing aide on for the next class but he still dismissed her saying she'll be better in the other class for two year olds because it is a small class of six but yet again...why didn't he suggest that in the first place until now ? The first day I signed up he told me the class she's currently in would be perfect for her because she's four and because she has prior experience but all of a sudden "she doesn't listen." I finally told him I won't be able to make that class as I get off later than the time it starts but he just suggested MY MOM take her. So I'm just going to try to talk to him or the other owner Alyssa in person tomorrow to make sure they permanently remove my card from the file as I won't be able to attend another class after today. I rather continue to pay more for her classes in LA than have my daughter be treated like a piece of dirt here for her disability.

With a…read morewelcoming staff and all-inclusive environment, I found this place to be the first place in Visalia that I've felt comfortable enough to let myself just enjoy dancing around others. It's awesome to see an adult dance studio in town. They have a variety of instructors teaching different dance styles of all experience levels. I personally attend their Hip-Hop classes the most. Each time it's a fun experience, the instructors are patient, and it's always a productive learning session. I've had the pleasure of getting to know Alice and the other instructors like Viktor, Vincent, Gimena, and many more. Each are welcoming and always willing to teach when you ask for more help. Book a session and come meet everyone in the ever-growing dance community! I'd love to meet other beginners like myself.

The Lifestyle Center is the only medically based fitness facility in the area and is a member of the Medical Fitness Association and is equipped for handling the different fitness needs of its members. There is an abundance of amenities available at TLC which includes 2 indoor pools, 3 cardio theaters, indoor track, saunas, and rock wall. There are 3 locker rooms, which includes a family locker room. Additional services available include personal training, childcare, massage, and cryotherapy. Currently, not all amenities and services are available and will be phased in due to potential health and safety concerns. There are a variety of membership options available that require a one-year commitment. I have selected the three-month Jump Start Fitness Membership for $199. Addition three-month periods can be purchased for $165. This membership works well for me because I do not exactly know how long I will be staying in the area. I highly recommend The Lifestyle Center for your health and fitness needs
