I don't normally write reviews, and Good Faith Energy did not ask me to write this review, but I've…read morehad such good experiences with this company that I had to express my praise for Good Faith Energy. I first contacted Good Faith Energy to help with solar planning for an all-electric house build I was building in Dallas, TX. While the house was still in the pre-drywall phase, I wanted to make sure that anything that could be added in the construction phase to help with solar installation later was done. Good Faith Energy helped me out, and for a nominal fee, they designed an electrical plan and coordinated with the builder on what components would make installation easier in the future. My original plan was to build the house and live in the house for a year to figure out my electricity needs, and then design a solar system around my usage. However, after moving in in early 2025, I decided to proceed with solar installation given my fear that the solar tax credit would be going away soon. I explored several solar companies, but ultimately picked Good Faith Energy. They were familiar with the products I was interested in (REC solar panels, SPAN panels, and Tesla Powerwall 3). They are very involved with the community and post very insightful videos on YouTube. You can tell that their owner and all of the employees are passionate about what they sell and install, and truly care about selecting the right solar system for you. My sales associate with Sammy, who was happy to provide different quotes, and he offered me very good suggestions about things I hadn't thought of. Joe was the engineer that worked on the plans, and he was also incredibly helpful and patient with me. He understood my desire to maximize the number of panels on my roof space, and tried out different ways with the design to maximize solar production. Samantha and Amanda were excellent project managers, who kept me informed throughout the entire project. My install was a bit more complicated than a typical residential system. My house is all-electric, and I have a 320 amp service powering two 200 amp panels. As a result, I ultimately went with a 28.5 kW REC solar panel system powering two separate sets of Tesla Powerwall 3 (5 total). Special shoutout to our electrician Ronnie and the site manager Shane, along with the rest of the Good Faith Energy install team, who battled some of the hottest days this summer to install the project on time. Their attention to detail was impressive, and the result is a very clean install. I live in a conservation district in Dallas, and as a result, I needed approval from the conservation district as well as from the City of Dallas. It took several months to get a permit, but Good Faith Energy had experience with this and knew how to handle it. There was one minor rough patch. We scheduled a city inspection two weeks ahead of schedule, but Good Faith Energy wasn't there where the city inspector came, which generated an immediate red-tag. However, this was ironed out by the next week, and we received a green tag after just one inspection the following week. Since the install, I've had a couple minor issues with the system, but Good Faith Energy was quick to respond and resolve the issues. I have been left with a feeling that this company stands behind their project. In the end, for such a complex and expensive project, I have had an extremely positive experience working with Good Faith Energy, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solar install in DFW.

Gage Mueller's expertise and focus on custom satisfaction made me a repeat customer with Bullet…read moreEnergy Solutions. Unfortunately, dealing with Shahin Haynes made each experience less than stellar but the most recent experience with the purchase and installation of additional residential solar panels was extremely disappointing. A deposit was collected and installation was scheduled without a finalized site plan or documented design approval ever being provided to me. When installation issues surfaced, which were outside of my control, I requested to pause the project until an internal Bullet Energy plan could be reviewed and agreed upon . Shahin bluntly stated that I would forfeit my deposit if we delayed. Being financially committed to a project without an approved site plan is unacceptable. Rather than acknowledging the breakdown in process, Shahin Haynes' response was dismissive and defensive. Requests for reasonable compromise were rejected outright, and the tone of communication was unprofessional. At one point, I was told the company was not making money on a "$5K job," which is not something a customer should ever hear. In addition, Shahin suggested a solution to offset the potential loss of my deposit would be to claw-back Gage Mueller's commission. Again, as a customer, this is not something any "VP of Operations" should communicate to a customer. The installation was ultimately completed and paid in full, but the customer experience was poor from a process and communication standpoint. I escalated these concerns directly to Mr. Vogel, the COO, on December 14, 2025, and followed up again on January 7, 2026. Considering I waited two months for a response, writing a review of my experience is justified. Clear design approval, documented sign-off, and professional communication are baseline expectations. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Bullet Energy Solutions.

YIKES!! Long story summarized, turns out a previous roof job (thanks to the ice storm of the century) done by another company a few weeks prior to this installation was done horribly rushed and incorrect (sloppy is more accurate). Given leaks appeared immediately after this install I naturally assumed it was Daylight Rangers fault. After calling Peter and informing him of the leak he immediately showed up to assess. Peter immediately identifying the issue was NOT one he had created and willingly offered to fix the job correctly (*insert mind blown emoji here!!). Super Peter ACTIVATE! Watching Peter work was like watching Michael Jordan at his PRIME!! Every detail, every angle, every crevasse was attended to perfection. Peter moved like 3 men half his age, in their prime with previous gymnast experience! After several hours of being completely and totally IN AWE at watching a master at work (just peaking in as not to disturb his Jedi flow) I wouldn't of been surprised at him doing a back flip of the roof, sticking the landing and King Kong chest pounding when the job was done!! I cannot state enough how INCREDIBLE this company is. Honor, integrity, craftsmanship, attention to detail... this man no doubt is touched by God himself and I am truly grateful our paths intertwined. Peter is nothing short of a Blessing and inspiration! If you're thinking of getting a skylight... STOP! No more thinking is necessary. Daylight Rangers is the dream team you're looking for and will not only NOT disappoint you but will go well beyond the call of duty to perform, excite and surprise. Simply put, "PHENOMENAL!"

I appreciated the "hidden" access port into my attic. Since then, my "hybrid" system has been working as intended, without any problems. Getting a full PV system that meets all of the household electrical needs is a big project and I had quotes done by 2 other companies prior to settling on Solartime for my project. They were the most communicative and allowed the most flexibility as well as experience when discussing the ins and outs of brands, solar limitations, and my electric needs. I interfaced heavily with Jason on the front end and he was able to field all of my tedious questions right up until we scheduled the install. Once we got all the paperwork, permitting, financing, and equipment selection out of the way installation was quite speedy and I was informed and involved each step along the way. Gregory was the team lead for the onsite installation and has a real passion for solar and a wealth of knowledge to field any questions. He did a very professional job and while install took the better part of one day and a portion of another he was patient with any questions or issues which came up along the way. I highly recommend solartime, as even in the event they may not be your final selection they are all well versed in the inter-workings on the industry and if nothing else you will gain a more clear understanding of how your system should work and how much it should cost you.
