This is the first time I've ever received such a courtesy from contractors in the home improvement business, and I cannot express how wonderfully professional this is. I have had far too many experiences of contractors coming out to estimate, only to never contact me again, or to go through the trouble of sending me a quote and then never actually schedule the work. While I did find someone who was able to do the work I requested in my short time frame, in the future, I will definitely contact Williams again for a bid. Just this email was enough to tell me about the company culture here, and I have great confidence in their professionalism.

Their pricing was fair, communication clear, and clean-up thorough. The results were beautiful, and we knew we'd call them again for future projects. In September 2025, after that great experience, we brought Williams back to paint our basement and handle some drywall repair. The father-and-son team who worked with us were outstanding--professional, friendly, and reliable. They arrived on time, did excellent work, and left everything neat and clean. From start to finish, their estimator and office staff also showed great professionalism--providing clear scheduling, prompt responses, and excellent follow-up--which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. As part of this project, we also had Williams install new ceiling lights and dimmer switches. Their electrician was skilled and efficient, and the installation turned out great. Williams has been a pleasure to work with on both projects, and we would happily recommend them for any painting or electrical needs.

The process went smoothly, his team led by Omar worked diligently and completed our(now sold) 2400 sq foot house in 3 days, and we ended up sellling it for a markedly higher amount than we had planned. My whole family wants to thank Charles Graves Painting for meeting our needs, and doing a professional job on time, on budget, where they did not compromise on the quality. My father served our country in the Marines, and as he would say, Charles proves he is a man of integrity. The team came out who he felt would best serve our needs. The house had needed some wall repair and replacement along with some high areas, and the owner Charles explained why Omar's team within his company was the best fit for this particular project. On the morning of, that's who was at the door, and they hustled to complete it in time for photographs so we could get it on the market. They run a tight ship. Hire them.

I recently contacted him regarding some of my trim pieces, which started pulling away from the house. This was very unusual, it looked awful, and although it was not under warranty, I decided to reach out to Charles to see what he can do. This is a great company and they really take care of their customers.

They are competitively priced, courteous, respectful, and always leave a clean work site at the end of the day. We have used them for small and large projects including: master bath renovation (down to the studs, all plumbing moved), new exterior back deck, complete remodel of our English basement apartment unit including floors, closet addition & full kitchen, renovated main staircase, and more. They start early and often stay late in the evening to ensure a project is completed on time, even if "surprises" are discovered along the way, extending the work load. They have always been able to trouble shoot the behind the walls surprises and oddities often found renovating in an older home- replacing a missing floor joist in the bathroom & adjusting an odd wall angle to make it more aesthetically pleasing. They were even able to adjust the original footprint of our back deck, adding much needed extra square footage for storage purposes- always a plus in small, city homes! I have heard horror stories about other remodeling projects, but am happy to say that we have always been very pleased with the work Mole Construction has done, and will continue to use their services for all of our home renovation needs.

The painters were friendly and didn't need any oversight, were friendly, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. We had two hiccups along the way, which both dealt with us adding on painting our front door which I offer as cautionary tales for anyone getting their front door painted: First, the powerwashing of the front door also broke our electronic lock. Patrick was quick to respond and removed the cost of the replacement lock from our invoice. (Very kind, thank you!!) Second, I don't think they told us the right kind of paint to buy because it has always looked too matte and stroke-y, and has lately started to bubble. In the future, I would do more research about what type of paint to buy rather than ask the guy who shows up -- I shouldn't have sprung it on them, even though they were more than happy to do it. Who knew that door paint selection could be such a process? Despite these two notes, I would definitely use Patrick's again in the future. It's hard to find a place that offers great customer service these days, and I am very grateful!
