We had in person meetings and phone calls/zoom to keep us up to date. She was organized with different platforms especially Aisle Planner which had all of our vendors contact information, guest information, notes, budget tracker and other wedding related information - it was definitely a one stop for all of our wedding stuff! Melissa was responsive with my husband and I's millions of questions with the overall wedding planning. We had many ideas/ inspirations, we shared with her and honestly sometimes we changed our mind way too many times. But every time that we spoke with Melissa she was receptive, provided a listening ear and overall reassured us, that our vision was what mattered, and as long as we were happy, she was happy. Now for the decorations and florals - WOW! Melissa excelled with the florals, color schemes, and my timeless vision of what our dream wedding would've looked like. Personally, perfection! Our colors were black, white and olive green with some earth tones. I have never been a fan of roses so I appreciate so much the floral recommendations that Melissa provided. With all the experience she has under her belt. I had no doubt that she was able to replicate something better than Pinterest. Another thing that I want to point out is Melissa flexibility with a last-minute request that we completely forgot about, and remembered the week of. We wanted a small memorial remembrance section for our loved ones. We had complete faith in her to organize it as she thought was best, and although I don't have a picture to show it was a lovely section when entering the wedding reception. For the day of, Melissa executed the timeline, so well that we were ahead of schedule which gave us more room to enjoy the little moments and catch up on some food and drinks as a night quickly passed us by. Specifically: Several waitstaff were consistently rude to our guests throughout the evening. One of the security guards was disrespectful toward my maid of honor. Despite our request to dim the lights for our first dance and later during the dancing portion, we were told no, leaving the atmosphere uncomfortably bright. Certain family members were repeatedly bothered under the assumption they were underage drinking, even after presenting valid identification. The owners' presence during the event felt intrusive, as they appeared visibly irate and monitored guests in a way that made many uncomfortable. These actions created unnecessary stress on what should have been a joyful occasion. We chose your venue expecting professionalism and hospitality, and unfortunately, that expectation was not met.

And they did not keep up with the unlimited chips/salsa on the tables. When the guests tried to ask the servers (owners' wife) for anything, the servers (owners' wife) were rude as they were bothered. Making the guests feel uncomfortable to even ask for chips/salsa when supposedly the food ran out. When the guests tried to bring in cases of beer as previously the owners allowed to bring in, their security did not allow to bring in. So, the guests would have no choice than to purchase their beer there. It seemed as we were in a concert not a wedding where we had to purchase everything and the security was very rude to the women. Making comments, which that was not his place to be even talking. My brother and sister-in-law after being together for 20+ years they deserved the very best wedding experience. Its sad how this whole experience with the owners and staff of the Red Event Center made it so uncomfortable and embarrassing for them. I DONT recommend this place for a special occasion.
