Justin worked up the carpet and install price which came in at $15/SF. The quote was high so we decided to think about it. When we got home we realized we forgot to write down the manufacturer of the carpets we liked so we went to the Carpet Town website to see if the info was online. We found the carpet we chose and found out the pricing online was $1.50 - $2/SF cheaper on their website. That would have been an $1,800 savings on our project. Unfortunately Carpet Town lost us as a customer and we will be taking our business elsewhere. We don't appreciate the shady sales tactics!

He was going to the big box home improvement store to find a replacement when I suggested he should search out a locally owned cabinet professional. I found Cabinet World on Google maps. As soon as we walked in the door I knew we were in the right place. The cabinets and decor were impressive. The owner approached us right away. We explained that we needed to replace these cheaply made parts and she went above and beyond to try to help. She searched her back room for parts she thought would work. She looked up the contact information for the cabinet maker even though it wasn't a company that she had any relationship with. It was a busy day in her store and she didn't need to take the time to help when she had paying customers waiting. She was sincerely in it to help and she did. Although we didn't make a purchase that day, Cabinet World would certainly be my choice for cabinets in any remodel. It's clear to me that the store's philosophy is service above all. But on top of that, the displays pushed the limits of imagination. I saw samples of kitchens and bathrooms that made me want to rip my house to the plaster and start over. I should have left it long ago. I am so sorry to hear of the previous reviewer's experience - which does not reflect mine. My husband and I first contacted Carpet Express in 2005 to assess the possibility of renovating a rental property we had purchased, which needed new flooring. The owner was prompt and professional in assessing our needs. All-in-all, over the last 12 years, we have had ten properties re-floored by Carpet Express - including the installation of carpeting, vinyl sheet flooring, vinyl plank flooring, composite vinyl tile flooring and stone flooring. One of our properties also has natural stone countertops - installed by Carpet Express. I can't say enough good things about their professionalism, work ethic, and customer service. Bill, Brandon and Aaron have always treated me with respect, as well as kindness. I have often bickered with Brandon, until he gave me the price I wanted for a piece of carpet. He is a worthy adversary - but, in the end, he is all about keeping the customer. My husband and I hired Carpet Express to install new flooring in the living room, kitchen, dining…read moreroom, entry way and bathroom of our home. At first we were thrilled with the work! After a couple of months we noticed mold was growing around the floor where the pipe to the toilet met the floor. We called Carpet Express and they refused to come out and investigate. Instead told us it was a plumbing problem and told us to hire a plumber, then call them back when the plumber fixed the leak. We hired a plumber who came out and fixed the leak (plumber said whoever reattached the pipe had over tightened the hose causing the leak). We called Carpet Express and they set up an appointment to have an installer come back out to our house to install new flooring in the bathroom. We discovered when they returned to fix the floor that they had never removed the old floor! We called Carpet Express to discuss the bill and no one would call us back. Instead we received a bill of $460 in the mail! My husband and I drove to Carpet Express to discuss the bill. Carpet Express told us their installer told them that he did not remove the toilet! What a LIE! Why would we remove the toilet, especially when they charged us for the removal on our initial bill??? Carpet Express then accused us of not wanting to pay our bill? Strange considering we paid them $4000 for the first bad job they did. All we wanted was for them to fix the poor installation job in the bathroom. They fixed it alright, but said we were liable and charged us for their mistake! I highly recommend if you are looking for new floors you go somewhere else and avoid the headache we've endured!

He said he would come at 8am. he removed the paper from 1 1/2 walls and left after 3 hours, For the next 4 days I was bombarded with a myriad of excuses- he wanted to go to a meeting to learn how to heal people with prayer; he had to help his son get an ownership title to his motorcycle; he had to remove potential lead poisoning from a site; he went to a men's breakfast at his church; he had to get wood. He arrived on Saturday at 11:30 and worked until 5:30. A lot was done. Unfortunately he removed the wallpaper from the ceiling after I requested that he not. This potentially caused a problem for me because I would have to deal with mudding and sanding. The house would have to be professionally cleaned to rid it of the dust. I was still patient. Monday morning he called and told me that he had Covid and couldn't come for a week. I was shocked that he didn't have a vaccination. He gave me a slew of excuses as to why he doesn't need it. I asked if one of his sons could finish the job. He said they weren't vaccinated either. (later recanted). He called me, told me he was over Covid, and now had more antibodies than a vaccinated person. told him to come and collect his equipment. (I had already paid him $200.00). When he came to collect his tools he said that although the Covid vaccine does not work, he now had more antibodies than it supplied. I questioned why he felt that endangering the health of 2 immune compromised woman was more important than him exerting his God given right to choose. The decision to get a vaccination does not nullify your access to the Bill of Rights. I checked with my md. and quarantined in place for a week. We were both fine.
