someone backed into my 2 month old car and totally screwed my hood. custom auto "fixed it". a few days after I got it back I noticed some minor lumps in the paint and didn't think too much of it. forward a couple weeks and had chips. a few months later like 30 chips and a 3" section along the front of the his that has NO PAINT LEFT. thank God they give you a little bottle of touch up paint so now my hood looks like ass and the front section? the paint has already flaked back off. do they honor their "warranty"???? F no. Alex their person who does quotes says they don't fix stone chips. so you're telling me on a car less than 6 months old it should look like then attached pictures? you decide.... also my ex took her car there to get a mirror replaced a few years back and they didn't get a heated one and she had to stop back a few times before they got it right. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and now I have a shit looking hood that I gotta keep dabbing touch up paint on. USAA needs to look into this because they definitely don't do good work. read more

This collision repair shop is top-notch. Brought my car in after a fender bender that smashed my front fender. The estimate was quick and easy and they coordinated the claim with my insurance company. When I dropped off the vehicle, they provided an estimated time for completion. The final repair work was beautifully done and they addressed all incidental damage. All the staff was professional and courteous Highly recommended. read more

Custom Auto Body is great and goes above and beyond! I took my car in to get an estimate from a minor collision that my insurance covered. The damage was near a large dent (4 inches across) that had been there since I bought the car (used) two years ago. I decided to finally get the dent fixed, since that panel was already going to have to be repaired. Custom fixed my additional dent for free at no extra charge to me or my insurance! Their price was right at what they estimated, and the estimating process was quick and painless. They had my car fixed in 3 days, no problem, and it came out looking great. The downside is that they aren't open on weekends, and stop doing estimates at 4:30 pm, so if you have a 9-5 job it can be hard to find time to go in. That being said, they did a great job, and I'll definitely consider them if I have any future bodywork. read more

Someone hit my parked car in the parking lot where I work (didn't leave a note) and dented my passenger door frame so I could not open my door. I received an estimate from Custom Auto Body and scheduled a date for the repairs. The repairs were done in three days (consistent with the estimate) and they cleaned my car inside as well as outside. The car was restored to its previous condition, the staff was very professional, pleasant, and efficient, and I was very pleased with the results. Custom auto body does not honor their guarantee and with their poor workmanship you will definitely need it. I had new bumpers put on my car by custom auto body. The paint was uneven, the entire car was covered in overspray, and the paint on both bumpers began to crack. After visiting a couple competing body shops and speaking with the owner Lance at length about it, he refused to acknowledge the problem. He than brought his own employee out who indicated that the paint was cracking due to poor prep prior to painting. Further inspection reveals stripped screws, cross-threaded bolts, and poor install techniques. Discussions with Lance deteriorated into him accusing me of trying to "blackball" him and him refusing to answer questions. He had the audacity to ask me to pay to fix the car in his shop. Lance still refuses to fix the problem and the damage will cost an estimated $1200 to fix properly. I am not alone in my experience, ask around before getting your work done. In contrast, I have had work done by North Canton Collision which had a beautiful paint match and factory quality work. read more

Took our car there to have damage on rear door which involved replacing the door and painting some other panels. Upon receiving the vehicle there were multiple issues including the door not fitting properly and not closing properly. There were also many spots that were dull since they were not polished properly. Lastly the inside of the vehicle was very dusty and there were also some overspray inside that couldn't be cleaned. Besides the interior being cleaned, the other issues were taken care of but only after taking the vehicle back and being without it again. I would not recommend taking your vehicle here if you have the option. read more

Having had work done there previously, I made the 'incorrect' assumption 'that 'quality would continue. Well, when I picked up my car Aug. 17th, it was filthy inside, notwithstanding I had made a POINT of stressing that I expect a CLEAN interior upon pick-up! I would even have been open to paying extra for a 'detail' job if necessary. But with its past good record in this regard, I didn't think it was needed. What a surprise!!! When I called Randy to request an adjustment, he NEVER returned my call!! Not very professional even if you didn't like what you heard on the voicemail! My first impression of this business was very good and it only got better. My Camry was hit in a parking lot and needed a new rear bumper. My car was supposed to be done December 21. Then told me it would be done wed dec 26 still not done. Tried to put a refurbished part in car leaked. Now has to take to mechanic an might be done next Wednesday day but that's just a opinion to see what he can do most likely car still won't be done. Don't trust what these people have to say. If they say car will be done first of Jan plan on 6 months after. Didn't receive calls first two times it was going to take longer. Had to call them. Make sure you tell them what you are there for when you walk in. We waited for an hour only to find out that the guy that writes hail estimates was not in and the other appraiser does not do hail estimates. That's one hour of my life i will never get back! read more
