    Custard twist cone

Oh custard time, how do I love thee? More than waiting in a long line in the sun, 30 people deep with sweat rolling down my back! We used to live here and this was a family fave so we were not going to miss a chance to enjoy this divine location! It did not disappoint. So much nostalgia, and just like I remembered. This made my day/night/week/year. Love this place!

First time here, came here with someone who came here as a kid. 5 stars for vanilla custard, smooth and creamy. Tastes as good as Costco's. Reasonably priced menu. My soft serve was extra soft for some reason, see my picture. Good thing I got it in a cup.

Parking lot here is pretty crazy, and the lines are always long. Good indication of summer when this place is open. We got the Strawberry shortcake sundae for 475 and the medium caramel and pineapple Sundae for 450. Both of these come with whip cream and cherries we told them to hold the crushed nuts. Refreshing treat for a hot day, but the stop by every once in a while.

I ordered the vanilla custard with cherry dip and it was delicious. The custard is creamy perfection, not too thick or heavy. I happily finished off my cone. It's been a few years since I've ordered cherry dip and it brought back the classic artificial flavor of my childhood in the best way! My partner got the chocolate dip which tasted more like genuine chocolate. The girls behind the counter were friendly and polite, please give them a fat tip if you remember what it's like to spend your summers working a minimum wage job! Thank you ladies, I'll be back soon.

Custard Time has a very good Custard Ice Cream, along with other DQ style items. The storefront faces south so the hot sun of a summer day prepares you for some ice cold treats to help cool you down. The window service moves along pretty quickly so the usual line outside isn't too bad. It's a favorite place for ice cream in Northville and ours as well. I'm giving it 3 stars and I'll be back...

10/10 it was so great for both myself (dairy-ish free) and my husband (custard lover). Don't look past the frozen bananas! They are delish. They have a wide range of options - all so good! From slushes to shakes and flurries and vegan dole whips!

Who doesn't love frozen custard?! The location is "window only" ... no indoor access. The lines are usually pretty long, but the girls get it moving quick enough. Their prices are fair & the serving sizes are LARGE. The vanilla custard is thick & delicious (yay) They also serve Guernsey hard scoop ice cream (double yay) I would also recommend the SUICIDE slushee.

    Dole whip extra large

Went to custard time today and ordered a large dole whip. It is smaller than usually and looks like a medium. I did complain because it is not what I was pay for. The other girl come in to weight it and told me, it is large. Then I looked at the weight. The weight not even on 0 and it is about 2 ounce over. A large is 8 ounce and they steal 2 ounces from customers. My daughter don't want me to make a bigger scene. This business is so dis honest.

Soooo goood! We were in line but 6 feet apart!

The best custard around, but the lines are long!! The kid in line with the magic tricks was really something.

This is the best icecream place!!! Been coming here since I was a little girl. They have the best waffle cones. Their custard is amazing.

Favorite Ice Cream Spot Ever! Nothing better to hit up after a round of disc as Cass Benton park!

The counters get pretty gross in the summer, but the custards always right on. Girls working there are usually pretty friendly.

Love this location. This was my introduction to Menchie's. This location always has an ample supply…read moreof toppings. I was also thankful when they started serving the Hershey's chocolate shell topping year-round. At one point they used to not offer it in the winter time. The only issue that I have is that occasionally the signs are either hand written or nonexistent. I think that happens more often than not when a flavor has to be changed quickly. I still have not figured out what the pattern is for the changing of the flavors and how long each flavor stays in the rotation. However, some of my favorites include: banana pudding, pistachio, cake batter, dolce de leche, mudslide, and pumpkin. This place is low-key and excellent. Some of the other locations I've been to have been super crowded and quite messy. But not this one. I like the fact that it's little and low-key.

My daughter loves coming here as she can customize both her frozen yogurt and toppings…read more Our visit today was not stellar but instead disappointing. Walking in I was hit with an overwhelming sour smell and a load of filthy tables. The young lady behind the counter was on her phone and barely looked up to acknowledge our presence. Roughly 1/3 of the machines were empty so the flavor selection was lacking. Like the tables, the yogurt machines were dirty and could have used a quick wipe down. I chose the "original tart" and a milk chocolate while my daughter mixed and matched a few other flavors. The topping selection looked sad, and was in desperate need of filling and wiping down. I chose waffle cone chips that unfortunately were very stale, and a maraschino cherry. We paid $18 for 2 barely half full cups with minimal topping (due to lack of product availability) The original tart was so sour that it was almost inedible. I've never had it taste so bad and I'm thinking there was something wrong with it. While I will be back because my daughter enjoys the experience, it won't be my first choice

I visited during the Plymouth Ice Festival and simply had to try a hot chocolate from Alpine…read moreChocolat Haus when I saw that they had dark hot chocolate. Some of the best hot chocolates I've ever had are from chocolate shops (makes sense) so I had high hopes. The price was quite reasonable I think for a premium hot chocolate, $4.99 for a dark hot chocolate with Mayan spice (cinnamon, cayenne, etc.) added. There was an option to add whipped cream and marshmallows but I opted out. The cocoa was excellent - delightfully chocolatey and definitely spicy - it definitely had a kick. I would order again in a heartbeat - maybe it's a good thing for my body that I don't live that close to Plymouth. They also have a nice array of chocolates, very similar to classic chocolate shops. I bought a couple of dark chocolate covered cherries and dark chocolate honeycomb chips for my mother and she loved them and she can normally be very picky about these type of chocolates. She said they were very fresh and the cherry flavor of the chocolate covered cherries was excellent. These were probably her favorite chocolates she's had in the last ten years or so. Alpine Chocolate Haus was definitely a winner and we'll be back whenever we're in Plymouth.

I found this place by chance as I was killing some time in downtown Plymouth..sort of a memory lane tour. The stock of treats is vast!!! Chocolates, candy caramel apples, ice cream and yes, hot chocolate. My goodness! The inside decor is to die for. The staff were so nice! I think I met an owner (male). He said the company has been around for 40 years in Michigan and about 14 years in Plymouth. The vibe is so nice and I can't recommend this place more. Everyone was kind. All I felt was love! Come here!!' It's well worth your time!
