Not only are they full of warm, friendly, and down to earth people, but they also provided the best fitness experience in terms of coaching, professionalism, and overall excellence. Not naming names, but other gyms I tried just pointed to the board to indicate the warmup and the coach spent the whole class rolling out vs actually coaching. From the coaching to the programming, from the facility (the gym is ALWAYS clean which is no small feat) to community engagement, and class experience, Mitch, the owner of The Loop, makes it clear that he is committed to constantly improving for the sake of his clients and community. Give them a shot!

I live in Arizona but spend about 3 months out of the year in Lake Stevens. Every time I walk in the door I'm greeted with genuine smiles, happy to welcome me back (from both the staff and the members) My favorite thing about the Loop is the excellent coaching and explanation before a workout begins. They breakdown the moves we'll be doing so even a beginner can grasp the concept and not feel overwhelmed or discouraged because they don't fluently speak CrossFit. The workouts are designed to leave you feeling challenged and accomplished with both strength and cardio elements built in. I leave feeling strong and energized. If you're on the fence about visiting, don't be. Take the plunge, you won't regret it and you're guaranteed to leave better than you arrived.

I have such gratitude for the YMCA. Their affordable adaptive swimming classes gave my autistic…read morechildren water safety skills and confidence in the water which has given me an unquantifiable amount of peace of mind. On top of that, we couldn't be happier with our new family membership. My kids love the kids zone and frequently ask to go there. The swimming pool has been a great addition to our weekly routine, and the kids night out events have allowed my husband and I to have regular date nights for the first time in a decade. My kids are really excited to get signed up for YMCA summer camp, too. YMCA programs have really helped my family thrive. My only wish is that the kid zone would expand their hours. It's tough for working parents to have dinner and get there before they close on weekday evenings, and even harder on the weekends because they close at lunch time on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. And once the kids have finished their weekend sports engagements, there is just no time. I would be willing to pay more for after hours kid zone access!

I don't want to go to an early class, or an after dinner one. But that's when the regular classes are offered. The only ones a little later in the morning, are chair yoga! Really! Not all seniors have to be in those... But I have seen some reviews by Seniors that complain about the high fees here - Actually, a lot of Medicare plans pay for exercise programs - my Premera Supplement does - so I hope the Y takes some of those FYI!

Absolutely horrible, I don't even know where to begin…read more.. I'll start from the top, I've been coming in for over a year, I have always been a guest of my wife. We meet up after work and do our work outs on Tuesdays and Thursdays and not once ever had an issue. Yesterday I show after work and I wait to scan in. This woman with blue hair is screaming at me to go around a group of people to use another scanner, I told her I'm not walking through people. It's not that serious. I scan in literally a second later and barks at me who am I a guest of. I told her my wife got here a couple minutes ago, she just text me she's in the bathroom changing. She tells me what I already know about my guest past and she more than welcomed to look and see my wife is here and she scanned in already, but you can't listen when you're too busy yelling for no reason. My wife comes out of the bathroom and we have a good laugh as this lady, thinking this is over. Well today my wife got an email saying we violated terms of service! Outrageous. We've done this for over a year and there is some pretty nice people here, there is a dark skin woman and almost all the guys are nice. The blue haired woman under no circumstance should be anywhere near people with her horrible people skills. Fix this!

I really enjoy working out at pursuit. There is so much equipment and the variety of it all keeps…read moreyou from getting bored. I also enjoy working with the personal trainers. I need help with accountability for myself and so I have leaned on the trainers to help me get moving after going stagnant for a year. I had to switch trainers recently due to my last one leaving :-( which was a bit of a bummer HOWEVER I have been working with Conner for a few weeks now, but I'm already seeing progress, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. One thing that really sets him apart is how he approaches injuries. I have tendonitis, and instead of just skipping exercises that bother me and moving on, he gives me stretches, mobility work, and "homework" to strengthen the area so I can eventually perform the movements correctly and get stronger. It's refreshing to have a trainer who focuses on long-term progress instead of temporary workarounds. He also keeps me accountable outside of our sessions by checking in on my workouts and nutrition. Having a clear plan with specific goals has made it much easier to stay consistent and motivated to come in, and I really appreciate the encouragement along the way. He genuinely listens to my concerns, answers my questions, and takes the time to explain the "why" behind everything we're doing, which has helped me feel much more confident in the process. Our sessions are primarily strength training, but I also love how he finishes each workout with high-intensity supersets that end things with a bang before sending me off for 20 minutes of cardio. Every workout feels challenging, purposeful, and rewarding. If you're looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable, supportive, and invested in your long-term success, not just your workout during the hour you're together, I highly recommend Conner.

I was willing to spend the extra money (their rates are higher than other gyms in my area) because there were 2-3 classes every week that appealed to me. I showed up for the first class, and became aware that the posted classes are not consistent, if available at all. No problem, right? I was still excited to utilize their body scanner, sauna, massage bed, and of course their outdated gym equipment. However, during my second month scan (May 2025) the trainer who assisted me and analyzed my scan was super condescending and unprofessional. Her comments were unnecessary and made me feel very awkward, so I didn't go back for months. With the fee so high I decided to slip in and use their sauna when that staff member wasn't there, but in the end not worth the hassle.

Signing up was easy, quick, and fun because of Tami. While it's somewhat of a downsize from LA Fitness which I used to workout at before joining here, it has everything I need for me to reach my fitness goals. A few things struck out to me upon my first official workout. The climbing machine!! I've been a membership at 4 other gyms, corporate and private owned, and none have had one. I'm very excited to give it a try someday! The machines are well maintained, and they operate very smoothly. I don't know why but, running on the treadmill felt really natural, and the machines felt really nice to use. Lastly, the showers/restroom. They have a couple of showers and restrooms that are VERY clean and best of all, it's PRIVATE. Another thing I never see at other gyms. Their showers are in private restrooms that have doors that can LOCK so you have all the privacy you need. I'm sold.
