Whats more sad is that I paid $15 for something that isn't at all as advertised. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Greek Salad as I love grilled meat. Never have I had souvlaki in over a dozen voyages to Greece that was wet boiled or microwaved, as this chicken seemed to be. Souvlaki are grilled skewers. This place should NOT sell the pile of bland, blond, wet chicken breast as "souvlaki." The "Greek" salad was sad. No other way to describe it. It had the ingredients of a Greek salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber) but the feta was meager and there were no onions. The tzatziki was more akin to ranch dressing (not made with yogurt- real Greek yogurt would hold a spoon standing in it. This was almost liquid.) ) and the pita was a doughy, cheap substitute. Their listing says fresh bread, and this pita was not so much. The owner seems nice and personable, and I wish him well but I also wish he would pay more attention to the product he delivers, especially if they call it, Greek. UPDATE from owners rebuttal: I write fair reviews as I experience the food. The issue is not whether you have fresh ingredients or quality chicken: it is clearly stated what you served was just not souvlaki in anyway, it was wet sautéed chicken and that was not traditional tzatziki. It was tzatziki-like sauce. Period. If you go to a pizza place to buy a pizza and you get high quality toasted bread with excellent tomato sauce and good mozzarella- it's still not a pizza, no matter the quality, and you shouldn't call it a pizza. I don't deny you are Greek, proud or otherwise, just serve what you advertise. Good luck to you too!

My husband and I are from north Jersey just outside NYC so we are very picky about our deli sandwiches and often see places came to be a NY deli but we are often disappointed. Puccio's did not disappointed! I had a mortadella sandwich with provolone, lettuce, oil and vinegar. My husband had the Italian sub. The bread was so fresh and soft. Perfect amount of meat, thinly sliced, good O&V ratios too. Cute spot to eat both indoors and out. Indoor seating, plus a little porch area with seating and full outdoor seating. You order at the counter and it's brought to you. Everyone friendly, and quick service. We will be back!

I wasn't sure what I wanted from their vast menu, so I asked the guy at the counter what was good. He made several recommendations of what was popular, with the Deniro being the first he mentioned and since I liked spicy, I gave it a try. I noticed their soup of the day was Italian Wedding, so I got a cup of that as well. My wife got her favorite type of sub, a meatball sub. They were quite busy... so many people coming in for pick-ups and lots of diners inside. But even still, we only waited maybe 10 mins for the subs to come out. Prior to them coming out, I got that soup and it was piping hot, but so very flavorful! Highly recommend giving it a try! The subs were on the most amazing bread! It held up perfectly to the cheesesteak style meat and toppings inside without falling apart. In fact, my sandwich wasn't messy at all, which I loved! The flavor was incredible and it had a nice kick to it from the peppers - sooo very good!!! The meatball sub was great too! And, again, the bread held up nicely to the oversized meatballs inside it and the sauce - a great combo!! We'd highly recommend stopping in for a sub... there's a reason their reviews are so high, they're worth it!! We definitely didn't regret the 1-1/2 hour drive up there for lunch!

We were able to decide what to order before we made it to the counter. This is a popular place. What looked like a long line moved quickly. The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a few breakfast sandwiches and a few beverages! Our directions were to stand aside for our beverages and then we could wait elsewhere, even outside on the patio for our food order. We were given a pager. The logistics of their system worked quite smoothly. Our chai tea latte and iced vanilla latte with cinnamon were on point! And our breakfast sandwiches (egg and cheese on sourdough & ham, egg, and cheese on a croissant) were freshly prepared and delicious! Yum! The menu is diverse and there's a dog-friendly patio where tables have umbrellas. This is a special place and you should definitely stop by when in Harper's Ferry.
