I have bought a few items in Curry's over the years, but I have never been over the moon about giving this company my money in the offline world.
Banbury is big, feels quite impersonal and though the stock is displayed about as well as I have ever seen it in any other Curry's branch, shops like the branch at Riverside seem to have better technically-minded staff, so you are never quite convinced that you are getting the best advice.
I generally drop into the big electrical stores every so often, to keep up with what is available in that market and decide whether it is worth changing what I have, but I have never been swung by a Curry's employee, nice and all as some of them are. The chain has a long way to go when it comes to inspiring desire in their customers, particularly for hifi and computers.
