    Chicken Tikka
    Francisco M.

There's a decent sized parking lot to get here. The staff are friendly. You can easily get food for take out and go. I got the chicken tikka with rice and some naan. The chicken tikka was pretty good. There's a slight kick of spiciness but it's manageable. The chicken is tasty. The naan was great! I'd return here again!

If you're looking for a place to satisfy your cravings for curry, cumin, and coriander, Curry Time has you covered. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even though it was challenging to be open minded when I walked into the restaurant because the ambiance was askew and unkept, I looked for the positives.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Heck, I must have enjoyed it because my white shirt was stained with spinach and the yellow and orange sauces they had bathed the chicken in! This is a fast food style gin joint so if you're in a hurry, they can cover some rice with a topping or two and get you on your way. The selections are kept warm behind glass (think of chipotle or subway, but Indian style). I brought a friend and ordered three dishes off the menu with garlic naan, and ended up ordering another garlic naan. Yes, I ate two. Honestly, having fresh garlic naan out of the fire is the best! The saag paneer was missing the paneer entirely. In fact, when she mixed it up to serve it, I didn't see any cheese and so I just called it saag. It was decently flavored, but I would have liked to try it prepared as described as "spinach and cheese." The coconut chicken was mild and milky on my tongue. The chicken was tender and the sauce was thick enough to sop up with the naan. By far the best dish I sampled was the black pepper chicken. Yelp friends, try this! The chicken is marinated for a day... yes, a day. The next day it is fired and cooked and set to rest and cool. They don't touch it except to refrigerate it. Yes, day two is just to cook and settle. On the third day, black pepper chicken is born! Ahhhhhhhh! The taste of flames on the meat reminded me of the char on tandoori and with the sauce, it was an absolute delight. I'd drive another hour round trip to have just this dish again. I was not a fan of their beverage selection or presentation, nor did I feel equipped to tackle this meal with tissue-paper napkins and a spoon that might be best suited to stir warm tea. One two-item combo, garlic naan, and a sprite for my friend and one three-item combo for me with no beverage totaled $55.35. Oh, the extra naan was $4.23. So basically $60 for lunch for two.

You must try the mango smoothie, the goat curry and the mango curry!! Food is always delicious and every time I'm in the area I stop by.

Two item combo (chicken tikka masala and paneer)

I want to begin by saying that I have been a long time patron and supporter of Curry Time since they first opened. Food: 5/5 Their curry is very delicious. I always get their chicken tikka masala every time. It is creamy, spicy, and super flavorful. I also like their veggie korma and their paneer spinach curry. Pricing: 3/5 This place is significantly increased their prices over the years. A two item combo with regular naan is about $20 now. It is not fault of their own, I blame inflation. However, the issue that I have with this is that they secretly up-charge, which is dishonest. They advertise $16.99 for a two item combo. Before taxes, they already charged 4% ($16.99 to $17.64) and then tax on top of that. In addition, they also charge for garlic naan, for their goat curry, and for using a credit card instead of cash. All of these charges made my experience less enjoyable. Ambiance: 4/5 [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is a quaint small business. I would recommend taking it to go because it doesn't feel very restaurant-y.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I hope they update their actual pricing and be honest and upfront about it. Otherwise, I don't think I'll be coming back.

I've been wanting to try this express Indian spot, and I thought it was quite delicious. It was empty when I came on a Saturday, so I was able to get my food within 5 minutes. I ended up getting the three-item combo, which was enough to share between two people if you're not super hungry. Here are my thoughts on the food: Butter Chicken - Buttery goodness. It was tasty, and the chicken tasted fresh. (4.5/5) Vindaloo Chicken - Spicy, but overall really good with nice flavors. (4/5) Spinach and Cheese - Also super tasty. It went well with the naan. (4.5/5) Garlic Naan - Overall good. Some pieces were crispy while one was soft. Decent, and the only thing I had to wait for. (4/5) Overall, the food was good, and if I'm looking for quick Indian food, I'd definitely come back. Prices did go up $1-$2 per item from the menu, but I was told that before paying, so just be aware if you're expecting the old prices. Still decent pricing for pretty tasty food. I ended up spending $24 for the 3-item combo with an extra order of garlic naan ($4.50).

Small mom and pop hole in the wall with friendly and fast service. I ordered through door dash for pickup but their tablet is broken so they didn't have my order ready when I showed up. She asked for my order and got to making it. For a goat biryani and butter chicken pizza, they had it ready in about 15 minutes, pretty quick! I didn't get any utensils but I was going to eat at home so no biggie. Took a slice in my car and oh my it was very solid. They must have a clay oven of sorts in the back because that pizza crust was divine! Goat was good in the biryani but the rice was slightly undercooked. Still good. I'm definitely coming back and bringing my friends for the pizza. It's right by the fake In n Out off the 10 Fwy

Whether you are new to Indian food or a regular, this is a must try! The set up allows you to visually see the various dishes and there is something for everyone. Been here the second time and it was great! Service is very sweet and I'm glad this place is only 5 minutes from me. Food is flavorful as well as quality for the price. Definitely my go to.

Back to try some more Indian food. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. It was their 7 year anniversary so congrats. and Everyone here is super nice and makes you feel like family. They made some special dishes today that I got to try. I got their creamy chicken, vegetable Chao mian, chili chicken, tandoori chicken pizza, and gulab jamun again cuz I loved that last time. The creamy chicken was super tender, juicy, and had good oveny roasted flaves. The vegetable chow mien had a bit of bell peppers, cabbage, and onions, perfectly aldente noodles and was nice and savory. The chili chicken wasnt spicy but had big chunks of chicken, bell peppers, and onions in a savory garlicky a tiny bit sweet sauce. The tandoori chicken pizza had a thin, naan like crust and was loaded with spiced chicken, onions, olives, bell peppers and cheese. It even came with like this creamy garlicky aioli dip. Now hear me out. Pizza and honey is yummy. So what if I dipped the pizza in the gulab jamun syrup- not gonna lie it was pretty fire and tasted like the Indian version of it cuz the syrup also had some of those florally warm notes honey does. Overall this place is still pretty good. Tandoori chicken pizza 10' $9.99 Gulab ja Special items ‍

We had just finished a bicycle ride and we were craving some spicy food. This happens to be the only Indian restaurant in the area and the great thing about it is the fast service with no waiting. The food is buffet style and we ordered a 3 item combo meal which comes with steamed rice and naan. The two of us shared this combo meal and we were full, especially when Raj the owner talked us into trying the veggie samosas. If you love extra heat ask for the chili and it will be accompanied with raw sliced onions.

Good experience but thought the food was ok. The prepared pans seemed very liquidy especially the meat dishes. But the pepper chicken had a lot of big chunks of cicjen - so not consistent. Tried the yellow curried veggie it was very watery and not much flavor. When i took it home and reheated it thickened and tasted better. Like the fresh naan. My 3 piece combo was $17.99 it comes with two pieces of regular naan. Garlic naan cost extra and goat curry cost extra too. If you like spice ask for the hot sauce it's green and good. Oh we bought fried fish (no picture) it was delicious but had an array of spices maybe too much spices for my pallete. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat inside, employee moved a table to give us more room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The configuration with their soda and freezer and office table could be laid out better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

And then there are restaurants that take you on a journey because you can taste and see the passion behind everything they do. This was unquestionably the latter. Five stars. And only five stars because I am incapable of giving it more. The food was exceptional, but the one thing that elevated the entire experience was the truly memorable hospitality during the evening. Our server, Raj, first took the time to get to know us. He did not simply take our order but he was intentional in learning about each of our very different palettes. He asked the right questions and guided us toward flavors and dishes that we probably would not have discovered or even ventured to on our own. Every recommendation was another success. He was knowledgeable, personable, incredibly attentive, and somehow managed to be present whenever he was needed without ever feeling intrusive. Beyond our table, the hospitality continued. The owner, Harsimran, made a point of coming over, visiting us, and making us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Even the young woman who had been working the front, who held no responsibility or obligation to our table, was so charming and warm that she added something wonderful to the experience simply through the way she interacted with us. A cheery "welcome," a slight nod, a warm smile. It made all the difference. And then there was the food. Their spices are procured locally and ground in-house. The commitment to this kind of quality certainly shows in the final product. The attention to detail in this establishment is as impressive as I have encountered in any restaurant, and I have dined, and worked in many. Nothing felt out of place or arbitrary. Nothing felt auxiliary. There was absolute intention behind the ingredients, the preparation, the presentation, and the balance of flavors. You could taste the passion in every dish that reached the table and you could smell that same passion from each dish before you even saw it coming. The intoxicating aromas surrounded us like a gentle wind that we were happy to be stuck in. And I have to specifically mention the gulab jamun. Quite simply put, it was the best I have ever tasted-- and I have tasted many... my figure proves that. I would return to this location for this dish alone. But therein lies the problem with this place: you leave feeling completely satisfied while simultaneously thinking about everything you had not had the opportunity to try. Before you've even walked out the door, or even risen from your table, you're already planning your next visit because you have things that you know you're going to crave and others on the menu that you suddenly can't live without trying. For me, round two is already decided: a deep dive into their specialty halwa with house-made pistachio ice cream, made from locally sourced and hand selected pistachios. Exceptional food. Exceptional hospitality. Exceptional attention to detail. This is what a five-star dining experience should feel like, and I can't wait to return. Again, five stars only because I can't give it more.

Anyways, got Indian food today since my cravings for Indian food wasn't satisfied yesterday. COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. None of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. The staff also wears gloves when handling food. There are no hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment today, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is small and it does get full quickly during peak business hours. Street parking can easily be found too if the lot is full. Each parking spot is pretty wide. Their menus haven't been updated, so the prices are inaccurate in my pics. Sorry. Also, apparently, they don't serve momos anymore, which made me very sad. Also, their 2 item lunch combos are now $13.99. Food: I ordered their 2 item lunch combos that came with plain rice, yogurt or rice pudding, and naan. You can also upgrade your regular naan to garlic naan for .75¢. I chose to get two chickens (chicken curry and chicken tikka masala) with plain rice, rice pudding, and upgraded garlic naan. The chicken curry was a flavorful dish made with chicken and a spiced sauce, with regional variations using ingredients like coconut milk, yogurt, tomatoes, and various spices such as turmeric, cumin, and coriander. The chicken itself was very juicy, tender, and flavorful. The chicken tikka masala is a popular curried dish made with boneless chicken, ground spices, onions, tomatoes, cream and herbs. This dish is savory, creamy, and just the right amount of spice. Again, the chicken was cooked to perfection. Soft, tender, and delicious. The plain rice was served hot and fluffy. It readily absorbs the flavors of my two chicken orders. The fragrant and rich rice pudding is classic Indian rice pudding made with rice, sugar, milk and flavored with cardamom, nuts and touch of rose water. Since it was served iced cold, I found this very refreshing in this summer's heat. The garlic naan is a soft, leavened Indian flatbread made with all-purpose flour, yeast, and yogurt, flavored with minced garlic and traditionally brushed with garlic-infused butter. The naan itself was tender with a crackling, thin, and crisp crust. Totally worth the .75¢ upgrade. Establishment: This establishment is both a supermarket and restaurant. The supermarket is packed with lots of delicious imported Indian snacks and goodies. It's decently priced. On the other side of the supermarket is the restaurant. The restaurant itself is clean, neat, tidy, and organized. The vibes are chill. Staff: The staff here are very fast, friendly, and welcoming. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.
