I was at the West Covina mall and stumbled across Singh is King. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical at first, but I am so glad I gave them a chance! A kind and polite employee offered me some samples before ordering, and to my surprise, everything was absolutely delicious. My absolute favorites were the mango chicken and butter chicken, which I ordered with rice and lentils. It completely blew away my expectations, especially for mall food! The flavors were amazing, and the customer service was top-notch. This is definitely going to be my go-to spot every time I visit the mall. Highly recommended! read more

WOW! Our first time here, and we are SO glad we stopped by! We ordered the chicken biryani, and it was absolutely AMAZING! The spice and seasoning were PERFECT, and the taste was truly phenomenal. Every single bite was packed with flavor! The chicken was tender, the rice was delicious, and the spices came together beautifully. We were just walking around Plaza West Covina and decided to give this place a try--and honestly, what a great decision! For our first visit, Singh Is King definitely impressed us! Chicken biryani = 10/10! Already looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes. Highly recommend! read more

It's a bit unusual to see Indian food at a food court in the mall and honestly this place is so much better than whatever else is offered in that food court The girl behind the counter was patient and friendly. She offered samples and after trying some I decided to get it. Got 3 curries with rice. For $2 more you can get a combo that comes with a drink and naan. Got tikka masala, butter chicken and coconut medras chicken. All dishes use chicken breast that is cut into square chunks. I think the best of the three was the coconut chicken. It had a nice kick to it and was super creamy. Butter chicken is a must get for me but some of the chicken pieces were a bit too overcooked. The tikka masala was also really good. The star of the show had to be the naan. I've tried plenty of naan and this is one of the best I've had. I got the garlic naan and it had plenty of garlic chunks on top. It's super fluffy and soft. Went so well with the curries. Portion is generous and the 3 item can easily feed 2 people. read more

Yummy!! I'm so glad there is Indian food at the mall now! I've never had Indian food. The smell drew me towards the food court and when I figured out where it was coming from I had to follow my nose. I was given several samples (so grateful!) and everything I tasted was delicious. I got the madras chickpeas, coconut and mango chicken, and some naan. Can't wait to come back! read more

I loved their butter chicken I ordered on UberEats but had never been to their location in person, I'm happy we did! The garlic naan and mango lassi is also a must have! read more

This place was better than some restaurants I've been to. The staff were super friendly and offered great suggestions to try. They made our naan fresh to order and holy crap was it delicious. Super light and fluffy but very soft while retaining a little bit of a chew. The sauces were light but had a lot of flavor. Even the tikka masala had a light weight but delicious sauce. The cherry on top was that they had great drink options. I will definitely be coming back here. I will agree with a lot of people in the reviews. The rice was dry and flavorless. I don't mind flavorless rice as plain rice tastes great with so many things but it was dry and brought the dishes down a bit. read more

So freaking good!! I got the butter chicken today. Delicious!!!! Im craving for more. This is my go to whenever im in the area!

Found this spot inside of the food court of West Covina mall. Food was great - can't beat 3 curries + rice for $20. My son had the mango lassi and he loved it. It's made fresh. You can sample the meat which is nice if you are unsure of what to get. My only complaint is it didn't come with the cucumber side that traditionally comes with Indian dishes. I assumed it was in my to go bag maybe it's only available upon request or at an extra cost and I overlooked it. I also ordered garlic and plain naan and they both tasted about the same. Overall a great clean spot we will be back. read more

I am so grateful that I decided to walk up to the counter at Singh is King. The smell of the food is so amazing! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, and he offered to let me sample several different types of chicken before I ordered. My favorite was the Chicken Madras Coconut which he told me is his own recipe and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors are rich, creamy, and so flavorful. I also really appreciate the reasonable prices, especially for the quality and portions you get. I enjoyed it so much that I came back twice in the same week! It's officially become my new go to spot for Indian food. The friendly service, incredible flavors, and great value, will keep brining you back. Highly recommend! read more

I stopped by this place while visiting the West Covina mall today. The kind lady behind the counter offered some samples and I got the $15 dollar plate. Rice with 2 curries. We ordered dal makhani and garlic naan today, and both were excellent. The flavor was rich and authentic, and the quality of the food really stood out. We also sampled the palak paneer--it was good, and the paneer tasted fresh. On top of that, the customer service was warm and attentive. Highly recommend! read more

The vegetarian and vegan options are good. Tried the butter chicken and chicken korma they were good but I'll always be a sucker for a paneer option. The price for the serving is agreeable. To me the naan seemed a bit overpriced however you can't eat the curry without a naan. We hope they are able to continue here. We don't have good Indian food options in the area. read more

I had high hopes for this Indian place in the mall food court since the other options are not great. I have to say this is the worst Indian food I've ever eaten! Awful! Even the basmati rice has no flavor, the garlic naan is also flavorless, sesame seeds instead of garlic. and the chicken korma is barely is edible. paid 20.00 for the small, one side with rice and garlic naan. So disappointed read more

So yummy, 2nd time and ready for more. I requested non spicy and they had items for me and I was so satisfied

First time trying butter chicken and it was a hit! The lady helping me, offered samples after I mentioned it was my first time here. So, I came here for lunch, tasted some of the curry and thought I had found a good spot. To my dismay I had not. The rice was trash and did not go well with the curries, I ordered a meal and it does not come with a drink or naan. 17$ for two curries and some rice. I would show a picture but I threw it away. Anyways, I paid extra for the nann, total came out to around 21$, and it was the most unflavored basic garlic naan I had ever tried, I don't think that they even put any garlic on it. Not even sure if bro is really Indian after tasting what he brought out to me. I was so disappointed in the food I decided to ask for a refund after about 4-5 bites. He declined and thought it was because I had to pay for the naan, even though I told him, politely, that the rice and naan were just bad and did not compliment the food well. So with no refund and no full tummy I'm writing this to you. Would not recommend, would not come again. Plenty of better indian spots around that have better food, will not rip you off, and will issue a refund with integrity if you do not like their food. Sincerely JP. read more
