First I pull up to the drive thru and there's a long line of vehicles. Nope! So I drive back around and park. Upon entering the store I noticed it was quite clean. Hmmm. Nice for a change. I walk back to the pharmacy to find only three people in line. Shouldn't take long. WRONG! Okay, to be fair it looked like they were short staffed. Sort of. Most of the employees were working very hard. One however didn't have a care in the world. She walked up to the register, helped one gentleman in front of me and walked back out of the pharmacy and proceeded to talk on her phone. Maybe it was her break time. Who knows. VERY SLOW SERVICE IN THE PHARMACY!

Obviously HIPPA regulations have never been explained to the employees at the front counter or in the pharmacy. This INCLUDES the pharmacist. Having my personal information, names of medications, insurance payers information shouted out for all to hear... leaves me with the realization that the convenience of a home town pharmacy isn't worth the lack of privacy. I leave there with more information about my neighbors than I wish to be privy to. So I will take my $800 monthly prescriptions down the road to an out of parish pharmacy that will cheerfully fill my medications, make a profit and put my money into THEIR tax base. Too bad. I wanted to patronize my home town pharmacy, but they reminded me why I initially stopped conducting business with them 10 years ago.

I was told that it could not be filled until that Sunday. I was promised that her prescription would be filled then. I went back the following Monday to pick it up. I was told that they were still working on it and it would be ready in about 20 minutes. I sat outside in my vehicle for 20 minutes and then went back inside to pickup the prescription. I was then told the medication was out of stock and would need to be ordered. I moved it and all of our other prescriptions to a different pharmacy. They did not care. Incompetent and liars.

I loved their greeting card aisle, it was large and had a great variety. As far as food items go they had a couple frozen pizzas, and some sodas, as well as candy. I really enjoyed how quiet it was, I don't know if it's like that all of the time but it seems not to many people know about it.
