It's within walking distance, albeit a huge block in Mississauga, from my workplace. I'd often walk over here to grab some lunch when I worked more regularly at the office. Recently, I was in the area running a few errands on a Saturday. I needed to fetch lunch. I did a search on my Uber Eats app and noticed a BOGO deal at Pita Lite. It was time to revisit this eatery. I got the beef gyros BOGO special. It came with potatoes and rice. I got to select the sauces that I wanted. Although hummus isn't really a sauce, I got it along with garlic, tzatziki, and tahini sauces. It took practically no time for my order to be ready. I was perhaps five minutes away by car, so I drove over there once I got the notification on my phone. It was weird being here on a Saturday. It was my first time. I backed into a parking spot and walked in. I got the most warm and friendly greeting by the man behind the counter. My order was right in front of me by the time that I walked over there. "I think this bag is my order," I said to him, showing my order number on my phone. "Yes, it is. Enjoy!" he said. I thanked him and wished him a great day. He reciprocated and I walked happily out the door with my order. I had one of the meals for dinner when I got home. I had the other the following day. The beef gyros was yummy. The slices were tender and juicy. The rice was perfectly done. I loved the potatoes. They were also perfectly done. The sauces were so good. I have missed coming here. You do get a good portion that kept me content for the rest of the evening. Heating up my second order was equally as yummy the following day. I'm so glad that I ordered something new. I normally get the chicken shawarma. It was great returning to an eatery that I used to frequent often. I hope to stop by more often when I'm in the area. (52)

Would have preferred the chicken pieces to be a bit more crispy on the edges for added texture and flavour. The veggies tasted fresh but the turnip and cucumber could have been sliced thinner for a better texture instead of having to bite off huge chunks of it. This place makes a good option for a quick work lunch. They also do lunch catering and delivery.

This mini platter is so so good. These meats are so deliciously seasoned. There is more then enough meat to appetize two people. Comes on top of a small bedding of salad (spiced dice cabbage, tomatoe slices, and onion) The butter chicken is pretty good, but the chicken is scarce. Tip: If you order the tandoor chicken, just put in in the butter chicken sauce, and your all set! I wish they de-boned the chicken. Amazing value and delicious food. No hesitation with my 5 star rating. Only good for take out.

I went back in my car, sat for a couple of minutes, and called them. To my surprise they picked up and accepted my order. I was even told it would take about 25 minutes on a Thursday evening at around 7:20pm. And so, I waited in my car, walked into the store periodically to find out the whereabouts of my Paneer Makhani $6.99 and Palak Gosht $8.99. The third time I came around to check, it seemed as if they forgot to make my order, and told me another 10 minutes. Waited exactly 1 hour and 12 minutes before I got my food (at this my stomach was eating itself), and when I asked to use my 10% off discount from Yelp check-in, the younger staff did not acknowledge the discount and told me I cannot use it. Again, while I loved the food I don't think I will ever make a repeat visit. Not only was I refused the 10% discount, but the staff was unapologetic about making me wait 1 hr and 12 minutes when I was told 25 mins. Had I known, I would have gone to Popeyes next door to avoid this nuisance. Thank you and goodbye.

I had never heard of the chain before, and I found myself returning a few times during my stay downtown. The employees were SO friendly at this location! Eager to please and helpful, and they never lost their patience when I asked what was in each burrito. It sort of works like a Subway where you order and they'll happily customize your item. I stuck with the wraps and burritos because they are easily portable so I could grab one in the morning, throw it in my bag, and nibble on it between movie screenings while I was typing up a film review. I ate a total of 4 wraps from Freshii, and all of them were good. The ingredients were fresh with crispy lettuce and other produce, and very flavorful with interesting international spices and flavors. I thought the prices were fair considering the very large portion sizes. The employees know how to wrap the burritos tightly so there's no ingredient spillage! That's important when needed to eat on the go. This location is attached to an office building and opens at 11 am sharp. Go early to beat the working crowds.

They had run out at Babuu's so Amma was the next option and it turns out that 2:00 pm on a Sunday is not quite early enough to grab their kool Definitely a popular item. Nonetheless the biryani we purchased was an excellent value (lots of meat, but not a huge fan of the chunks of fat that were mixed in). I've also enjoyed the their kothu roti, especially since you can make custom requests (like extra spicy, more egg/meat, etc.). I'm really happy that they are back in Scarborough after a brief foray in Markham. Welcome back, Amma!
