AUTHENTIC THAI COUNTER! I'd highly recommend pulling up to the counter at Sticky Rice for a nice…read moremeal. The Pad See Ew is the real deal, it's perfectly fried, utilizes tasty sauces, and the noodles are delicious. My only problem with this Thai spot are the portions, they're small for the price. My meal was provided in a tiny plastic container, it was a little underwhelming. I don't know if they mistakenly packed me a to-go container? Additionally, a soda fountain would be great, only cans/bottles are available here. If you're into a buzzy eateries inside Grand Central Market, you'll love this place. I definitely would come back for a light lunch or dinner. It's perfect for a chat or hangout. Staff are professional, but it would be nice if they were more warm. It was a Wednesday night in Los Angeles, it wasn't overly packed. I'm not quite sure why they were so stressed.

Ordered the shrimp rolls , and they were flavorless. The lettuces smelled a little weird . We…read moreordered drunken needs too and they were average. We waited 35 minutes for an our food - seems like we arrived at the DoorDash prime time as we saw at least 10 dashers picking up to go orders the entire time . Random note: my long dress got wet at the bottom and I didn't notice until we got up to leave. Looks like water from the fish tank might be leaking or another plumbing issue .

Once again, the food was absolutely delicious and did not disappoint! Everything was full of flavor and well worth the trip. Don't forget to try their delicious Thai tea, and make sure to save room for the amazing mango sticky rice for dessert! It's a must-try! We're so glad we came back for another visit. If you're in Los Angeles and craving delicious Thai food, I highly recommend Hae Ha Thai Bistro. We'll definitely be returning!

My wife and I came for my birthday outing (she surprised me). Thai is always a "go to" and when we hit LA it's food time. The appetizer set the tone - crab wontons (ummmm - yeah I'm no food geography expert but I imagine they didn't originate in Thailand but who cares they rock!) My wife said probably the best she has ever had - crispy, creamy, actual crab sightings in the filling - loved it. Green curry - loaded with ingredients and aromatic and enticing. Eggplant, bamboo shoots lots of meat, veggies - and the curry underneath was loaded with flavor. Medium spice hit just right (I can handle Thai hot but I am taking it easy ok??) Drunken noodles - but an udon version? Let's try it - loved it! Again - plentiful meat, basil fragrance wafting to my nostrils, spicy sweet and savory blended sauce - fantastic. Verdict? Solid 5 on all hands. Service, ambience, food, value... You won't be sorry.

NOW FLASH BACK TO HERE. i to echo park only seeking dessert and my friend SHOVED ME over to this tiny cute little establishment. little did i know my upcoming flavor explosion. the sticky rice was WARM, coconutty, sweet and absolutely melted in your mouth while still holding firm, not necessarily mushy. i almost shed a tear. it was STEAMING. and the condensed milk drizzled on top went above and beyond... it was definitely coconut that added just another level of tropical warmth ugh. and those MANGOS??? GIRL ITS APRIL, NOT SUMMER??? yet they were the sweetest, softest, most decadent mangos on planet earth. with that bit of mint, every bite had me in ecstasy... and a food coma. THIS is mango sticky rice. and i WILL be back. also, tell me why i just sat down next to Ian from Smosh. that man's been loving thai food since youtube's inception... and obviously he has impeccable taste *fangirls*

The pork came with a good mix of lean meat, fatty pieces, and braised pork skin. Everything tasted fresh and tender, and the meat wasn't dry at all, which I know some reviewers have mentioned. It had a lovely sweet, aromatic braised flavor with hints of star anise. The dipping sauce was also delicious--sweet, sour, and spicy, with a strong kick of Thai chili and fresh lime. The acidity balanced the richness of the pork really well. 5/5. I also loved the coconut chicken soup. It was tangy, fragrant, and very appetizing. The chicken and mushrooms tasted really fresh, and the whole dish felt freshly cooked rather than something that had been sitting around. I ended up drinking a lot of the broth because it was so good. 5/5. The Thai tea was decent--smooth and not overly sweet, but nothing particularly memorable. 3/5. We finished pretty much everything. For two people, the total came to around $54 including tax and tip, and we were very full. Great value for the amount and quality of food. My only small complaint: the bowls and soup spoons were plastic. Otherwise, this was one of the most satisfying meals we had on this LA trip.
