It kind of reminded me General Tso's chicken. It started the meal off just right. The Chi t tea was brought to us in small terracotta mugs. It was very hot, perfect spice and sweetness. Finally, our meals and butter naan bread by way of robot server. Neat gimmick, but I still don't get it. The chicken masala was ridiculous, it was so good. Creamy and rich, mild spice and big chunks of chicken. My boys both ordered goat. One ordered mild and the other medium. If you don't like super hot food, order mild. We stopped into Curryosity early on a Friday evening around 5:30. There were already a few patrons, and it filled up quickly with a line forming for tables. Our server promptly took our drink orders and gave us time to look over the menu. We ordered the shrimp fried rice (Indo-Chinese fusion, mild) and lamb curry (mild). Both dishes were packed with flavor, though not very spicy--next time I'll try medium. The food was delivered to our table by a robot, which was a fun and unique touch, and then the server plated it. I also had the masala chai tea--absolutely amazing. Hot, flavorful, and one of the highlights of the meal. My only downside was that the food wasn't piping hot, more warm than expected. Otherwise, the space and bathrooms were clean, and overall it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend Curryosity. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We started out with the curried corn ribs and they were some of the best that we have had. We also had the chicken 65 which was nicely spiced and another chicken dish which I don't recall the name of. We also ordered a side of the garlic nan which was delicious. We ordered the lemongrass soup and it was the only miss of the night. Instead of light and refreshing it was oily and rotten tasting. So why only three stars if the food was good. Because there is nobody managing this place and it clearly shows. There were two very young inexperienced waiters who also had to act as bartenders and hostess. These kids were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Again, we saw zero management trying to help the situation and numerous customers, including ourselves, getting frustrated by the chaotic spotty service. I have to stress this is lack of management and not the kids's fault as they were trying as hard as they could. We felt so bad for these kids we ended up leaving a huge tip. Also, the atmosphere isn't great. The restaurant is located in a strip mall which is fine however be aware that the two tops are very close together so you better get to know your neighbor. We loved this restaurant. As vegetarians/vegans it can be hard to find great places to eat in CoMO but Curry-osity had a vegetarian-specific tab on their menu! We tried the Gobi Manchurian cauliflower, Vada Pav "sliders", and two main dishes (Aloo Matar and Navratna Korma) and they were all amazing. We would love to try other curries but these two were solid. We will definitely get the Mancurian again - the texture would please veg and meat-eaters alike! The sliders were good but we want to try the samosas next time. The portions were good size, came with a side of rice, and we could have shared an entree (but glad we got two so we could try a few flavors and eat for leftovers the next day). Lastly, we had a kind server, a fun robot to bring our dishes, and even though they have signs that it's "slow food," the time was not that long for how great the meal was! Where do I begin? Let's start by saying that this place has a lot of pros and cons. I'm going to sandwich them in this review lol. We came in during lunch time... but not on a lunch special day. Bummer. That's ok though because this was our first time eating here and we were excited regardless. The first con is there are no menus. Only a QR code taped on the table. This makes ordering for elderly people extremely hard, because they often don't know how to use phones well or may not even have a phone with the technology to scan QR codes. Case in point, my grandma who was with us. Thankfully, a waitress handed her tablet over to my grandmother to use! But on a busy night, they wouldn't have been able to do this, and we would have had to help her order. That being said, the food came out quickly on this slow lunch time day, and was literally to die for. The Samosas have a seasoning on the outside I'd never tried before and were sooo good! All three entrées were creamy, flavorful, and very well-made! They each came with a small bowl of rice and all three of us shared each other's entrées so we could try a little bit of everything. I would go back there literally just for the samosas and not even need to order anything else! Now I'm not too sure if this is really a con...or a pro... but a little robot brought us out our food. The waitress told us its name was Bella. It was really cool and super cute...but I feel like these are replacing humans in the work place. Why do you need a robot to bring my food to me when there's people that can? I suspect it's to help a smaller waitstaff serve a restaurant more efficiently. But on a slow day, are they necessary? I have to admit however, that the robot was super cool! Finally the price is...well...outrageous. This is a "special night" dinner date spot. Not a casual lunch spot. The samosas only come with two not three, therefore you HAVE to order more than one order if you have any more than two people. With $20 entrees, plus more for naan, drinks, and any apps...it was over $100 for three people. I can see why they have robots...they can afford them. Using yelp is a 1 star in itself as the platform blocks proxy users. Additionally, a 45 minute wait with open tables that are not reserved, overcrowded waiting area, and poor food quality. I have really enjoyed Curry-osity since it first opened. We went tonight to celebrate como restaurant week and for our wedding anniversary. We ordered the lamb curry, butter chicken, garlic cheese naan - all of which are fabulous dishes. Each curry is so creamy with a blend of sweet and spicy to your liking. I am not sure if the lamb curry was supposed to be this way, but the dish had multiple whole peppercorns in the curry. The garlic cheese naan is the way to go in our opinion! We thought we were being pleasantly surprised with the royal naan ($20) for como restaurant week and, unfortunately, we were wrong when it came time to pay. What would have been a $60 meal turned into a $80-85 meal not including the tip. We will come back because we have enjoyed what this place has to offer and look forward to their growth, but we were upset with the surprise addition (that was not communicated whatsoever) that we did not ask for in the first place. Just want to put this out there as a heads up for anyone who ends up going, especially during 2025 como restaurant week. The food was fabulous. There were four of us including two vegans. Everyone was able to find something they were excited to order and the food was served quickly and everything was tasty. This was our second visit. Our first was when the place first opened and there were long waits and the place was clearly short-staffed. We were hoping all that would have been taken care of but our waiter was clearly brand new, couldn't answer questions about some of the dishes, and didn't really understand the I-pad he was trying to use to record our order and ended up bringing us food we had asked about but decided not to order as well what we'd ordered. Curry-osity is a nice addition to the local food scene, especially for vegetarians and vegans (anyone else tired of cheese pizza and bean burgers?!). There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options across all the menus (appetizers, lunch, dinner). I tried a variety of dishes on my first visit and was generally pleased. The vegetable samosa filling was excellent, and the flavor of the bhindi masala was very good. However, most of my tables' dishes -- including chaat, chana masala and the bhindi masala -- were far too oily. I did not care for the garlic naan as it was cracker-thin and crisp (despite the puddles of butter on the top). I thought the serving sizes were appropriate. For those who like heat: don't fear the Very Spicy level. I enjoyed my Very Spicy main (and would have appreciated even a little more heat). read more

my boyfriend and i made our reservation for 8:45 on a saturday night. we got there and they clearly weren't super organized. we ordered a mango lassi, chicken 65, and the chicken tiki masala. we had to asked our waiter to get our drinks, and when we did, our mango lassi was under filled compared to all of the other guests and wasn't very sweet, tasted like greek yogurt. the chicken 65 was cold, like it had be sitting for a long time. the tiki masala was alright, it's definitely on the sweeter side, so if that's your thing you may like it more. BUT I found a hair in it lol. the waiter seemed genuinely sorry and so did the manager. they voided it. the ambiance was nice, it's on the more elegant side, as well as the prices. read more

To make things worse, the staff were arguing with each other right in front of customers the entire time--completely unprofessional.
