Really solid Thai food! I came here once before when visiting my sister and was looking forward to coming back during my recent trip. Although they are now under new management the food was still just as good. I got the garlic stir fry and my sister got the drunken noodles. Both were so delicious. We came in for dinner over the weekend, and the place was busier than expected. We had a short wait and were seated quickly. Ambiance is a small modern Thai place. The service was good overall. The menu was pretty extensive. - Crab rangoon (4.5/5): Pretty big pieces, very crispy and good flavor. - Tom yum soup (4/5): I thought the portion was a bit small for the price ($8). Just a small bowl. Flavor was good, but I like it a bit more sour. - Drunken noodles with chicken (4.5/5): This was very tasty. Very flavorful, noodles cooked well. Great dish overall. - Red curry with beef (4/5): Good portion size, comes with a side of rice. We got medium spicy, and it was spicier than I expected (especially for restaurant in Columbia). There were several people in our party and each one loved their entrees; from the pork pad Thai, beef panang curry, chicken green curry, and pork pumpkin curry. Tried Kinkao on Saturday for lunch. The ambiance was so nice. I ordered the chicken pad Thai - hot level spice. The portion size was good, and I loved the dish. The noodles were perfect and still had some chew, the spice level was on point without being too hot and there was the right amount of everything. This was not only my first time trying Kinkao but also my first time trying thai food! I was so impressed! I had the tofu pad thai mild spice and it was so amazing. The tofu was crispy and had such good taste! It was enough that I had some left over. It is a bit smaller and there were only tables for 1-4 people. My server, Sophia, was also amazing! The food is just excellent. We began with Potstickers & Crab Ragoon appetizers and they were delicious! Next my wife and I both had the Drunken Noodle, medium spicy, with chicken. The veggies were fresh and crisp, the chicken cooked to perfection and the noodles made for a great dish! (Just a shootout that Medium could be a tad spicy for some) Lastly, we're going to try the Mango rice desert. Looks great! I have been looking for an authentic Thai restaurant in Columbia that serves delicious food like I've eaten in Thailand or like my Thai mother makes and I'm happy to say that I've found it. It was worth the wait! The flavors, freshness and presentation were wonderful. We ordered the egg rolls, fried chicken, Pad See Ew, Som Tum, Chicken Larb, Sticky rice (a must if having Som Tum and Larb) and Tom Kha. Everything was perfect. So happy! It has become our go-to place when hungry! Love the minimalist style of interior and the food is unique and delicious. The different dishes come with different combinations of vegetables, unlike most of Asian dishes in other restaurants. Love the eggplant in their green curry and Eggplant stir fry. Must order the medium spicy level to the best taste of the food. They are kind and very accommodating for our Gluten allergy diet. Two thumbs up! read more
