I asked if they had the specific bmw for $20k. He said yes. I explained I was an inexperienced driver that needed a car suddenly and my mother would be co-signing the car for me even though she was not with me. He writes the dollar amount $26 k on the paperwork and asked me to sign. I asked him why the price was different and he said closing costs. He told me I would be paying $674 for 42 months (a little over 3 years). I agreed. They told me the cost of the payment would go up significantly if I used my name and I should just use my mother's name only. I said ok. Later he tells me their printer is down and he offered to drive with me to my mother's house (122 miles away) for her to physically sign the paperwork so he can release the keys to me. While at her home, she asked how much the car was and I said 20k and Ray said 26. I then said right, because of closing costs. She signs. We leave my mother's home and he drives the car to my address (another 84 miles) and park. He said he had to wait until his boss got him an uber to his home. I invited him upstairs and sat with him in the living room. He was there for about 20 minutes because he could not get in touch with his manager. At this time its after midnight. While in the car I asked about a low battery notification and he said it was fine. There were so many things wrong with this process that I and my mother were unaware of because we both had no experience buying cars from a dealership. Ray and the dealership agreed to hold my plates upon arrival so I wouldn't have to pick it up at my mother's home and it would take 30-45 days to process. I was also told the dealership would reach out to me. 29 days after purchasing the car Ray tells me he no longer works with the dealership. I had been contacting him about getting gap insurance for the car for almost 2 weeks prior. The following day my mother received a notification from Experian for a $45K loan Apparently Ray had my mother sign a blank agreement and added an extra $20k on the car. We tried to return the car and were told there is no window of return even though that was exactly 30 days from the purchase date. 16 days later (1 day outside of the 45 day expected processing time for the license plates) I was pulled over by the State Police on my way to work because my temporary license plate was in the window (incorrect placement). The Police told me the license plate I had (the one given to me at the dealership) was only meant for dealerships/commercial use and not personal. Ray had given me a paper to keep in the glove compartment in the event I was asked for registration. The Police told me it was an in-transit paper for transporting cars from one place to another. For these reasons they impounded the car and also gave me tickets. 2 days later I was told they would not assist because my mother told them she plans to sue. 6 months later I got my car checked and was told that battery notification I saw on the car when I first got it was serious and I should check if I'm covered with the dealership. They said I would not be covered. I've only had the car for 6 months and they resolved nothing. This was a horrible experience and none of the many individuals I spoke with (some of them Erik, Aron, Yvonne) offered no help. I was even told they would send a check for a few payments as a sorry and they never got back to me. They get your money and tell you anything to leave and you have to almost harass them for them to tell you they actually cannot assist. I've worked in customer service/sales for over a decade. I have never seen a case where an employee that gets fired is found to have screwed over customers to this extreme and they do nothing at all. Learn from my experience and do not patron this business. Let me add my mother has perfect credit which is why I thought it best to have her help me.

Guess what - sales rep only pushes people who think they had a good experience to post google review. Also, their compensation is tied to google reviews, and the rep is doing whatever is the culture of the business. I was subject to classic bait and switch, besides numerous other questionable tactics (hold your credit card anyone). Only reason I am rating this business as two stars is that when confronted with solid documentation, they agreed to make some amends. It did take approx 5 months to get closure. There service center was worse. Service tech told me I needed an engine flush for a 2011 camry at 50K mi servicing. Charged me over a $100 extra. When I got home, found out that was not required. Called service center, and they told me it was needed for cars driven in 'tough' conditions. Well, agent never asked me how I drove my car, or whether I towed anything. More importantly, even the tough-conditions service requirements dont require the flush. Needless to say - not going back.

I was later promised a refund and told it would be applied directly to my loan principal. I was repeatedly told to "wait until the next billing cycle." I did this four separate times, following up after each billing cycle, and each time I was told the refund had been processed and would appear on the next statement. After four billing cycles with no refund, I contacted my loan company directly and confirmed that no refund was ever initiated. Whenever I call the dealership, I am routed to the sales manager, who says only the general manager can resolve the issue. Despite repeated requests over four months, the general manager has never returned a call. This dealership lies, delays, and avoids accountability once the sale is complete. I strongly recommend not doing business with Toyota of Westchester.

Isiah is a relatively young salesman that went above and beyond to make sure the entire process was smooth and transparent. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE…read more Let me share my experience with Yonkers Kia. I purchased a used car from them, and it only came with one key. When I asked about the second key, I was told they didn't have it. Instead, they issued me a "We Owe" agreement, stating that I would need to purchase and program a new key myself, and they would reimburse me. I followed their instructions. In December, I submitted the invoice for reimbursement--and I am still waiting to be paid. Since then, I've had to call multiple times, re-submit the same paperwork more than once, and constantly follow up. Each time I reach out, I'm treated dismissively, like I'm the one causing the issue. I never receive callbacks, and the process has been unnecessarily difficult. They owe me over $700. At this point, it's not just about the money--it's about how poorly this has been handled. Because of this experience, they've lost me as a customer, and I would not recommend them to anyone. My next steps are to file complaints with Westchester Consumer Protection, Kia Corporate, and to share my experience publicly so others are aware. All of this... over $700. What a shame.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally document a serious safety incident that occurred following recall service performed on my 2019 Acura ILX at your dealership. On May 2, 2026, I brought my vehicle in at approximately 10:45 a.m. for a scheduled brake recall service. At 12:41 p.m., I was notified that the vehicle was ready for pickup. I arrived around 3:00 p.m., and the vehicle was returned to me. Upon leaving the dealership, I immediately noticed that the brake pedal felt unusually stiff. I initially assumed this might resolve with normal driving. However, shortly thereafter, I experienced a dangerous malfunction affecting both the braking system and cruise control. To be specific, my vehicle was braking on its own, it would not reverse therefore I could not operate the vehicle. The vehicle began behaving erratically in a way that nearly caused a serious accident, placing my safety and the safety of others at significant risk. As a result of this incident, I was forced to wait in a parking lot for approximately eight hours for a tow, without access to a restroom and with uncertainty regarding the safety of the surrounding area. Additionally, I experienced a lack of communication and professionalism from the towing company, which added to the distress of the situation. When my vehicle was brought to Acura for the second time on Sunday May 3 by tow truck during examination of my vehicle, it was reported to me by your employee Chris Bach that the wiring was loose. It is my position that the recall service performed by your service department was improperly executed and directly contributed to these malfunctions. A vehicle brought in for a safety recall should be returned in a safe and fully operational condition, not in a state that creates new hazards. This situation has caused significant inconvenience, stress, and concern for my personal safety. I am formally requesting the following: A comprehensive inspection and repair of all braking and cruise control system issues at no cost to me. Reimbursement or compensation for all expenses incurred as a result of this incident. A written acknowledgment from your dealership accepting responsibility for the errors associated with the recall service. I expect a response within 10 business days. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will escalate this matter to Acura Corporate Customer Relations, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and, if necessary, pursue legal counsel. This is a serious matter, and I trust it will be handled with the urgency and attention it requires.
