Disappointed in the quality of service that I received. I took my car in for a recall in November and was told the work wouldn't start for 3 more weeks (even though I'd called ahead to schedule the recall work). I also asked them to perform the NY State emissions test because it was going to run out by the time my car was going to be returned. Now on Jan. 5th - 8 weeks later - I've finally picked up my car (parts weren't ordered, shipment delays, the tech took the day off etc etc) and they were not able to complete the state emissions since the engine had been opened to perform the recall work. I was told the car needs to run a few hundred miles for the sensors to reset and then I should bring it back. For some reason they couldn't have performed the emissions testing in the several weeks that they had my car there parked and now I'm on my own, hoping that I drive the necessary miles to get it retested before I get pulled over for having an expired sticker. To top it all off the car was filthy, with grease stains dripping off the sides. I guess it's 'Tough luck, customer!' read more

After a nightmare of an experience with a different car dealership, I was RELIEVED to have had an experience like I did with Rye Ford. From the moment I walked in, Sebastian and Cory took very good care of me. I leased a 2021 Explorer and traded in my Jeep for fair (if not great) prices. I contacted Rye Ford on April 26 after regarding my Fusion. I spoke to Glen and told him that the car would not hold a charge. He told me to bring it right in but it might have to wait until the next day to be serviced. The next day I received a call from Glen saying that the car was ready. The battery had to be replaced and it was all set. This was the best experience that I have ever had dropping off and picking up a car from a dealership service department. My experience with Rye Ford is disappointing and reprehensible. I have purchased 2 cars from FordRye and have experienced inconsistent and misinformation from their past employees when it comes to my car's warranty. When I went in to get my rear differential and transmission fixed under warranty the treatment I received was unprofessional and unhelpful. First, the one associate Richard Pierorazio ( Business Manager) just assumed I could not speak English and had someone come over and speak in me in Spanish as he flopped warranty folder on the desk and walked away. Chris Pierorazio ( Business Manager) spoke to me when we were BUYING two cars, but did not speak to my mom or me when we had problems with the cars. Just delegated us to someone else who spoke to us in Spanish. Me and my mother are Americans. I felt very disrespected. I was misinformed in the service department by previous employees that my car was covered under mileage, not years, a misinformation from their high employees turnover in this dealership (Employee turnover refers to the number or percentage of workers who leave an organization and are replaced by new employees) . I wonder how FordRye hired unprofessional employees who provided wrong information to customers? I was given no help, no assistance, no customer appreciation, no customer retention, just a lot of excuses and insincere "sorry" from Sebastian Dacosta ( Sales Manager) as I was dismissed. After I spent $45,000 dollars in this dealership. I got no customer attention, no alternative solutions, no customer appreciation and any customer retention . After this situation. How can I repeat business in FordRye? It is my absolute, unequivocal belief that after this bad experience and bad energy that this dealership is a big waste of money and time. read more

Made an Appointment well in advance received a confirmation email. This Appointment was to test drive a particular car. Arrive at my appointment and told the car to test drive did not come in. With cost of gas and waste of my time this is UNACCEPTABLE customer service. Very nonchalant attitude about the whole thing as well!! Will never return. read more

Do not buy from this dealership. Total Mickey Mouse operation. They are very unprofessional and unresponsive. It's been 25 days since I bought my car and I am still waiting for my second car key. I still have not received my registration sticker and they never gave me a car manual. If I could give them a zero I would. I call and send emails and still no one responds. Wasn't going to bother to give a review but after finding out that my tires weren't secure properly made me realize it's necessary for me to share my experience. Worst costumer service. First, they process body work without going thru insurance. Second, I find out about thru the Assistant Manager Paula , & She even told me that it doesn't matter if I didn't give permission, I would still have to pay full price since work was done already. She never even apologized for the mistake that her employee Glenn committed, instead she insisted of being helpful and trying to fix the issue but all I got was a dumb statement. Third, the statement was that the dealership has my car & that I have to pay, that isn't on the dealership if I can't afford it. Eventually, I ended up reaching out to a supervisor & thankfully this made the crew actually work and get the work cover thru insurance, like it should have from the very beginning. I had some work done, including oil & brake change After the oil change, the crew didn't bother to put the sticker when the next oil change is due. After doing the brakes the crew didn't even bother to secure my tires. Which made me thought my car was damaged, until I took it to a different dealership and find out all 4 of my tires were lose. I could of had an accident & I commute from CT to NY everyday for work. ***Mr Jim Kingery, please revise what your staff is doing at your dealership. read more

CAUTION Salesman was very nice. Purchased a used Jeep Wrangler 57,000 miles. Was told vehicle was warranted for 30 days. Took vehicle to my mechanic , mechanic found several areas where oil was leaking . Rye Fords response was it's a used vehicle enjoy your oil leaking $ 24,000 used vehicle . read more

Bought a new car from them. When I pointed out some issues that needed to be fixed they told me to bring it back in and they will take care of it. Brought it back in, issue wasn't fixed and the scratched and dented the car. Told me to bring it back in and they will take care of everything. Brought it in a few days later. Original issues was half fixed. The just put touch up paint on the scratch and left the dent. When I questioned them about the touch up paint they responded "we'd have to paint the whole door!" Yeah! It's a new car that you damage! To top it all off and be spiteful, the spilled coffee all over the outside of the car. No comment from the service manager. Disgusted by this dealership. Will be reporting everything to Ford and taking my car elsewhere to be fixed. The only good part of my experience was Osman who works in sales. read more

Thoroughly disgusted. After ten service visits and replacement of my driver's side control arm the noise when accelerating still exists. The service representative's answer "I took a video of the entire vehicle there is nothing broke, hanging or leaking from my suspension. I think you are hearing a frame noise that's intermittent with road noise, keep in mind the mileage, 47K, and normal wear can occur. What a poor excuse for inferior workmanship and a pass the buck response. If 47K miles results in intermittent noise then Ford's engineer's need to make a better car. I will NEVER buy another Ford vehicle and Rye Ford Subaru has lost my confidence, respect and future referrals. As a result of my referrals a coworker had bought 2 cars (Ford), she too will never buy from the again and another friend bought 2 cars (Subaru) no issue yet. SHAME ON RYE FORD SUBARU! read more

I walked in a few months ago, and Not a single person welcomed me, I got into a few cars that they had on display and not a single salesperson approached to ask me if I needed Help. So, I left. I tried emailing them for a quote, and after a month and a half of going back and forth with Violeta the salesperson, she never gave me a quote, not even a ballpark. So I decided to go back in there and finally Michael, the front desk manager, gave me the quote I needed. I then emailed Violeta back and she never responded. UPDATE - 2/17/18: WHY PROTECT IDENTITY THIEVES?? After multiple phone calls with management where they referred to me as a "disgruntled girlfriend" and my boyfriend, the identity theft victim, as a "Remorseful buyer" we took a trip to Rye Ford. Upon meeting with management they confirmed he was absolutely not the person who "purchased" the stolen vehicle. We provided years worth of indisputable proof of identity. They advised us "they felt for us" but that regardless of the evidence they would not show us the fraudulent documents and would not file a police report. They advised us to obtain an attorney, because they would not provide us any documents without a subpoena. We proceeded to file a report at the Rye PD. The Rye Police were nothing short of AMAZING. After sending a detective over, they quickly compelled Rye Ford to release the documents. The police advised us this was the second case of identity fraud in the area that day, related to the purchase of a vehicle, and have contacted the FBI. Why would Rye Ford not file a stolen vehicle report without the PD forcing their hand? Could this be an inside job? BEWARE!!! ORIGINAL POST - 2/13/18: Be careful everyone. These guys sold to identity thieves. We filed a report with the police in our hometown because we were the victims of identity theft. The police advised us to reached out to Rye Ford and advise them, since that is where the fraudulent purchase took place, the manager was extremely nasty. I'd hate to be him when he realizes we are telling the truth and they are out tens of thousands of dollars. Their lives would be better if they would work with the police and victim rather then protect the criminal. read more

Before I signed on the line one of the questions I asked was "how long does it take to get my plates"? Sean the sales man said about 10 days. It's been 25 days and Still no plates. Maybe they have them but I don't know because every time I call and ask for the Sean I get his voice mail and the said with the manager. Once, again, my review has been taken off of Yelp. Guys, I am going to continue to post unless you immediately resolve this matter. The story is as follows: We were encouraged to surrender our leased 2014 Subaru Forester early and lease a new 2017 Subaru Forester. The salesperson as well as the manager assured us they were going to purchase the vehicle and that we would have no obligation whatsoever on the remaining lease etc. (we had leased with them before and therefore thought everything would be on the up and up. ) We received a notice that we were in arrears on the 2014 vehicle from Subaru Financial Services/Chase. Called the dealership and they told us "we were overreacting and it was just a matter of time for the paperwork to go through". On December 1, 2016, we received a Notice of Intent to Sell Leased Vehicle from Chase. Apparently, the dealership reneged on their promise to purchase our vehicle and never informed us. Now we are in the unfortunate position of negotiating with Chase. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP! We do not know what they are up to, but we intend to investigate and find out. We are senior citizens who were totally duped. We believe we were victims of fraud. read more

This was my first time purchasing a vehicle from Rye Ford. It was honestly, THE BEST car buying experience I've ever had!! Just bought a brand new F150 platinum. The sales consultant, Daniel and his manager, Anthony, really made the entire process so easy and comfortable for me. It was like I was buying a car from a friend (no pressure!). Daniel was also really knowledgeable, and answered all 100 of my questions haha. He took all of my needs into consideration, and helped put me into a truck that really made sense for me. FIND ANOTHER SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!! I brought my car there twice. The first time I had 3 issues. 2 of which they said were fixed and one ( the keypad for entry) which they said the diagnostic test showed was fine. They tried to charge me for the diagnostic fee and I refused because I knew it was broke. I showed the manager the non working part and after he tried unsuccessfully to get in he said " they dont actually try to get in, they just do a test on it". All they had to do was punch in the code and they would have seen it was broke. So had to make another appointment and the next day I realized that the other 2 issues were not fixed either. Two weeks later...Second appointment. Showed up early, got a loaner car and explained the issues again to one of the rudest service people(Jim) i have ever dealt with, acted as if he was doing me the biggest favor in the world by talking with me. He says it will be a day or two and that he would call. I got a call from him late that afternoon saying that there was a clerical issue with the $4000.00 extended warranty on the car and they couldn't do any of the work till it was cleared up. Putting aside the inconvenience of him not telling me right away that morning, the most troubling thing to me was that this guy refused to acknowledge the fact that they worked on these same issues 2 weeks before under the same warranty and THEY failed to fix them. Not only was he stubborn but also spoke to me in a condescending tone several times. A few years ago I probably would have tossed his desk over but am a little older and a little smarter now. Anyway, I went out of my way a little bit to go to Stamford Ford and boy was I happy. The most friendly, professional service depart I have ever been to. Stay away from Rye Ford, make the 7 mile trip to Stamford and you will see what it is like to be treated with respect and professionalism. read more

Service was a disgrace. Needed part to be ordered. Was never called when part arrived. Called and left messages with service at least 5 times..NO CALL-BACK. Finally, called parts myself...they said the part had been there for 2 weeks! When brought car in for service that was to take about an hour, no one had touched the car for 2 hrs, was exactly where I left it when i arrived. No one did anything until I got very upset. Then they would not tell me when car would be ready. I asked on multiples occasions what was happening and they told me they would be right back with information. Nobody would get back to me at all. I was right there waiting!!! What a mess. Had been a customer for years in the past....service was very good then. Now lots of employees in service sitting around doing nothing and essentially ignoring you. read more
