Serafino told me these leaks are common in the X3 (I also confirmed with another BMW Service Center).

Zero stars!! My complex in Hartsdale contracts this company to enforce parking. I happened to…read moreforget to place my permit on my dashboard. Totally accepted I messed up. Mark and another guy came to take the boot off, he took forever to handwrite a receipt and I was in a rush to get to work. We get to the payment part. I was expecting to pay $65 maybe $75 according to their sign. To my astonishment he said it was $272 ($250+tax) based on my car weighing more than 6,000 pounds - my car wasn't even towed!!! When I got upset he threatened to have my car towed to Queens because he has another lot there and that he would simply justify towing it there by saying he has no space is Portchester. Needing to get to work I was forced to pay the abusive fee. I then handed him a credit card and he said it had to be cash, even after I read online tow company's can't refuse to accept credit. Conveniently enough they offered me a ride to an ATM. When I got back Mark mentioned something about his wife uploading the handwritten receipt to their system prompting me to ask if he was the Owner (I later on found he lied). I kept pleading about the cost and they weren't hearing it. Furthermore, I requested references to how they can charge what they charged and an official invoice to which neither were provided. I have since then opened a case with the BBB, requested the Westchester Comproller to investigage, have a complaint in with my complex and have sent them a certified demand letter requesting a $207 refund. I did learn I would have been better off using my grinder to take their CHEAP $80 boot off and potentially having to pay for that versus paying them to take it off. Greenburgh Police confirmed in cases like this they are considered a private matter. Tow companies tend to have a bad stigma, now I see why.

First off, if I could give less than 1 star I would…read more My brother in law owns a towing company and I have nothing against people doing their job, but at least be professional about it. The woman Michelle something booted my car and was extremely rude to me to the point of laughing in my face. She refused to give me her name. I had to ask her partner. He refused to give me her last name. As the previous comment says they are EXTREMELY sketchy. I wasn't sure I wanted to give them anything besides a call to the police. They sit in an unmarked car and boot you and say it's $74 and change to get it off but they only accept cash. They did not offer a receipt. I thought they were just hillbillies that brought boots to a parking lot. The female - Michelle - practically bum rushed me at my car and blew her cigarette smoke in my face and told me I parked illegally and got a boot. I asked how much it would be and said it won't happen again. She laughed at me and told me the amount. I asked who she worked for and she looked confused as if I was speaking another language all of a sudden. I gave her my money after more smoke was blown in my face and then a man with rotting teeth and tattoos took off the boot. He was not as rude as Michelle. After I was going to leave I decided to tell her "thanks for blowing your smoke in my face - that's really professional of a tower." And she simply replied with "no problem. Any time!" And gave me the thumbs up. I stopped my car and called over the male. I told him what happened and asked for a receipt and who they worked for. He didn't seem to want to tell me either. And he didn't want to get me a receipt. I told him I didn't want to go to the female because she was so rude and would keep blowing her cigarettes in my face. Finally he got the receipt for me. When he came back I asked for their names. He wouldn't give me them. He said they're on the receipt. Only one name was on it but it was a signature that consisted of two letters so I told him to tell me her name because I couldn't read it and she was the only one I cared about that that point. He told me her name was Michelle. I immediately called their company to file a complaint against her. The woman I spoke to told me "maybe if you learned how to read people wouldn't talk down to you." In the nastiest voice I've ever heard. I was appalled. I told her no one deserves smoke in their face. Especially when they have family who have died from lung cancer from smoking. Which I do. I ended up hanging up. This was the absolute worst towing company I have ever heard of and dealt with. I hope they go out of business or at least hire a new staff and work more professionally. I'm sure they will be going no where with their lives though and be towing cars for all eternity and I'm fine with that.
