I have to start this review off by saying: as someone who just wants to get their food and go, this is the most welcoming and warming food truck I've been to. Not only did he ensure I had the proper spice level and chicken crispness but he also properly gauged the conversation and provided a warming and welcoming atmosphere experience. The food was amazing. As someone who loves their spicy I would recommend asking for it spicy, the way it comes amazing for those who like a little kick. If you can handle spicy please ask for it mild!! You'll fall in love with the flavor over and over again. It had depth and spice, and as someone who loves spice I am so used to spicy being the only thing present. This dish managed to provide the depth of flavor while also giving that kick. If you love a good ipa I recommend a hazy with this dish!

I had the pleasure of having Sunny his team from Curry & Combo come to my work for an employee appreciation event. Sunny was very quick and prompt with the inquiries for a quote and menu. He was very easy to work with and flexible. He work with our budget to deliver a menu that would satisfy vegetarian and meat eaters. His team showed up prompt and on time to the event. Everyone was kind. His truck was a hit at the event. The line was long but moved quick. Many of my coworkers complimented on the taste of the food and how good it was. I highly recommend Curry & Combo for your corporate needs!

Wow! Completely blown away by the service and flavor! My partner & I gad the Curry Chicken Plate & the Chicken Nanwhich. The chicken was so moist with a thin layer of crispy crunch! The curry was mildy spicy with the perfect balance of savory & sweet! Ugh it was so good. I ate it just 15 mins ago & had to write a review.

Was having a beer at Bruehol and this amazing food truck was here:) Let me tell you that the inside of the truck is extremely clean & the guys are super friendly. I ordered the loaded fries with the crispy chicken and boy was it delicious Will definitely order from them again!

The food was very good and the guy had a very pleasant attitude. I wasnt expecting a great curry from a truck but these guys have done a very good job of ensuring great flavor profiles and salad was also very fresh. Which always the giveaway if a place is using fresh ingredients. Definitely recommend!

Amazing food. I've tried a few things on the menu and everything is delicious. The curry isn't too spicy, it's creamy and flavorful. I would eat their menu everyday. It's the best. The chicken plate with rice and the salad, the loaded fries, chicken sandwich.. it's one of our favorite food trucks at side gate. Yum!!

We had the pleasure of trying CurryandCombo this past weekend, and it's become a new favorite! We got the Curry Combo, and it was fantastic! Great portion and incredible flavor. The spices used in the curry tasted fresh and homemade, and the chicken was crispy and juicy. The customer service was also great, a kind family who was more than happy to help with any questions. Anytime we see they are at Epidemic Ales, we will definitely be stopping by for more! See you guys soon!

The crispy chicken sandwich and curry plate were both amazing! I would love to try more of their menu.

We arrived around 8 PM and were welcomed with the same warm, energetic greeting you'd expect at opening time. Kumar, a young host, was absolutely the friendliest -- such a pleasant start to the evening. We ordered a bunch of dishes: veg fried rice (delicious), dal makhani (yum), jeera rice, a vegetable curry, garlic naan, pakodas (yum), chai, and mango lassi. But the standout was the veg chowmein -- it was bomb. It became everyone's favorite instantly and was the first dish cleared from the table. We even met one of the cooks who was super sweet. Bless you guys for being so amazing. This is seriously some of the best food around -- I'll definitely be back for those chowmein. Highly recommend!

Even the Russian ones I had in Portland were super interesting and flavorful. And don't get me wrong. The Paneer Tikka Masala and Lamb Korma were tasty enough. But the Momo's really sealed the deal this time. We ordered from this place from DoorDash a couple weeks ago and I almost wish we didn't order Naan. It just felt like it kinda got in the way. Why dip a Naan in Masala when you can dip a Momo in it? Whatever combination of vegetables were in these delectable dumplings were divine. I feel like I tasted like a combo of potatoes with carrots and lots of fun herbs. Maybe Ginger? But then just dip if in your favorite saucey entree of choice and it just completes the meal. I have my usual go-to for Indian food in the area, but my wife and I were excited to try Sargam for…read moredinner because we had been given a gift certificate. We'd been there once, years ago, and couldn't really remember it much. We walked in and waited a solid 5 minutes (or more) for someone to come to the front acknowledge us, and there were others waiting as well. We assumed that they must be very busy, but they only had a few tables of customers. The atmosphere wasn't nice, but it was ok. We didn't expect fine dining vibes. There were no table cloths, and a mint green paint job which matched the color of the napkins. We ordered the "vegetarian feast" and also the butter chicken; we wanted to sample different items and probably bring home leftovers. The first thing that came out was the chai tea, which was fine. After a little wait, the samosas arrived. The samosas were delicious, and we agreed that they were the best we'd ever had. The two sauces they served with the samosas were also very tasty. Unfortunately, that was the last great thing about our experience at Sargam. The wait for the rest of the food was quite long. We weren't in a hurry, but it was definitely longer than should be acceptable at a restaurant. (All in all we were there for about 90 minutes). When the food finally came out, one of the items was missing from the vegetarian feast (the "two naris"). We didn't notice until later that we never got this item. The food's taste was average. Perhaps below average for the Indian food in the Bay Area. The chicken was not very tender but it wasn't terrible. We ordered the food "medium spicy" but there was zero spice. Also, the temperature wasn't as hot as it should be. Most of the items were almost luke warm. The nan wasn't anything special. It wasn't as tasty (or warm) as it is at most places we've been to. At the end, we were supposed to get two desserts, according to the menu's description (photo attached) of the vegetarian feast. They never came. We wrapped up our leftovers and I asked the woman (who seemed to be the manager), who had taken our order and also brought us our check, if we were going to get the desserts. She gave me a horrible look. She looked as if I had said something terrible, and acted like she had no idea what we were talking about. I explained that the dessert was on the menu as part of the "vegetarian feast". We waited about five more minutes and no dessert came out. I decided to pay and leave; we were full anyway. Sargam has "acceptable" food and ambience, long waits, and bad service with missing items. Also, they added a "service fee" of 3.5% to the check (which was not mentioned anywhere on the menu). Weird. I wanted to like it. We won't be back.

The buffet doesn't change much, but I tell you, we were there this afternoon, and I can't imagine a better combination of tastes than what I had: 3 each of the small fish pakoras and the fried chickpea flour ones; a portion of tasty white rice; a delicious cup of yellow dal; and a goodly portion of goat curry. All of this along with the yummy Naan that was brought to out table. Sargam is a tried and true venue for us (We go back a couple of decades and have dined there with so many friends over the years I probably can't even remember them all. If you're anywhere near Walnut Creek, give it a try! (Have a look at the many photos of the food. I only have one to share today of the establishment at night. We also often take home a Mixed Tandoori Grill platter, which combines many tasty kinds of meat, and goes a long way!)
