We just ate at Currito (Kenwood, Ohio location) for the first time on Saturday evening, 1/5. WOW! This place is impressive! And we LOVED being able to do the build your own. What a reasonable price for choosing whatever combo you want of so many great healthy ingredients!!! A fantastic alternative to other options that are out there. And the staff here is incredible! They shouted out a genuine greeting to every person who walked through the door, and said a warm goodbye and thank you as they left. Alex came over and talked to us after we had a chance to get partway through our food. She is a really good representative for Currito! We appreciate her excellent attention to customer service. Hey, Currito is pretty cool! It's kind of a quirky concept --burritos containing different ethnic cuisines-- but they seem to be generally pretty tasty. The place is clean and all of the ingredients look fresh. Got a smoothie with my burrito tonight and it was pretty good too. I don't expect this place to supplant Chipotle as my "go-to" fast burrito spot, but when you're craving something different it's worth a shot. It took me awhile to figure out how their ordering worked, it is similar to chipotle but with 5x the options and different ethnic flavors to choose from. I agree with many reviews. Neat concept to combine different cuisines with the burrito or bowl chipotle/qdoba assembly line style. It is a better option than other burrito/bowl places due to choices,however service is just ok. Not very friendly, and they make the burrito super fast when there is no line. Whats the rush? Quickly throw in ingredients and roll the burrito without caring that it's already falling apart. Make it like you're going to eat it. I don't want beans just on one end. I love that this place has international options. From a vegetarian point of view, it is also really awesome that they have tofu. However, I will say that I think it was pricier than Chipotle and the portions were significantly smaller. And while I enjoyed the option for tofu, I find braised tofu to be a bad a choice. I think that if the meat options are all grilled, there is a reason for that flavor choice, and the tofu should have the same charred taste and consistency. I found the smoosh of the tofu to be not the best option for the palette of the burritos. Lastly, I also felt that they could have been more fillers that are not the protein (that is, more vegetables, etc.), but I understand they have limited space behind the counter. I normally go to curritos instead of Chipotle because the food is much fresher here. However, the "pulled" pork was just chunks of pork and my burrito was wrapped so badly that 70% of the ingredients spilled out from the bottom and sides when the burrito unraveled. I don't know what was going on today, but they really need to get it together! As I was going down the assembly line, I saw them screw up two people's orders. They put someone else's order in between my bowl and my boyfriend's burrito. Just keep everything in the order that it was ordered in. It caused so much confusion! When I got to the end of the counter to pick up my bowl, I saw that it was in a to-go bag and a woman was reaching for it, thinking it was hers. Good thing I was paying attention! A little on the high side in price given the smaller portions, but it's always good to claim to have sustainable foods in their menu. Love the menu options compared to chipotle's limited menu as far as add on items to your bowl or burrito. This location is much better than the chipotle down the street. I've never had an issue with them running out of anything or inattentive staff. The portions are always great and so is the taste. If you like chipotle I recommend you give this place a shot just for the fact that they have a decent amount of add on items like cucumber, hummus, or caramelized onions(yum). Also, for you healthy eaters out there. Currito uses chicken breasts rather than chicken thighs which is what chipotle uses so the chicken thighs have more calories and fat content. Overall I've never had any issues with ordering, staff, or food so give this place a shot over the train wreck of a chipotle that's down the street that could have run out of tortilla shells (yes, I've been there and seen it with my own eyes...smh) read more

We just heard of this place today, and being lovers of both Qdoba and Chipotle, decided to give it a shot. The portions are a bit smaller than the others, but they make up for it in taste. They have a lot of international options, like Indian (tikka) and Mediterranean, but you can also build our own. You can choose from a small or regular sized burrito, or a bowl. My mom was dying, and my wife and I went out driving, looking for some place to eat. We stumbled on Currito. What a blessing! The food was different, and delicious! I don;t know how to describe it. It is NOT mexican. But it is really good. Both of our meals were very good. The manager was very kind to us, and even gave us a gift card for a future entree on the house. I strongly recommend trying this place. I can't wait to return to Cincy just to come back here for a meal. I don't understand the negative reviews. maybe they just hit it on a bad day. When I habe a craving for a burrito or bowl Currito is my go to place. I think they have a better selection over chipotle and Qdoba. My favorite is the Bangkok bowl. They top cilantro covered rice with bok choy, cucumber, carrots, almonds, meat of your choice, Asian vinaigrette, and then smother it with a tasty peanut sauce. Yum yum!! They also have several other types of burritos or bowls to choose from such as the Mediterranean, buffalo, teriyaki, and tikka. Always consistently good food here but today service left something to be desired. Guy at counter seemed disinterested and clearly didn't listen to my order because he asked what protein I wanted when I had told him already. He let out a huge open-mouthed yawn then shook his head. I asked for a larger-sized drink cup and he said "that's all we have." It was a child-sized cup and I've had larger cups there before. If they were out, or had changed their policy, it would've been nice to know. And why do the staff making the order have to ask again if it's dine in or carry out? I would have upped the stars for the food, but the service was so subpar I just couldn't. This was our first visit here and it wasn't really clear where to line up so we awkwardly stood in front of the registers for at least 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us (note: one employee even came up to the register area to get a beverage cup for themselves - I get it, you may be on break, but at least say "someone will be with you in a minute"). I ordered a summer burrito, which was really good - the mango was a really unique and tasty addition. My husband got a burrito, plus added on chips and guac and a drink. After getting our burritos, we were still standing there waiting for our drink and chips and guac. Turns out, the guy at the register didn't even enter those items, so while they eventually gave us chips and guac for free, they wouldn't give us a drink.
