The installers were on time and worked very hard all day, finishing the job earlier. They were extremely polite as well. We love our new carpet and the sage color is beautiful, but the memory foam padding is so wonderful to walk on. We chose Carpet Liquidators in Bellingham, Wa., after we sourced a local carpet company that quoted us an outrageous $25,000 price tag. After seeking out another carpet company, we found Carpet Liquidators in Bellingham. Drew, the manager is very kind, helpful and knows his business. Unbelievably professional, kind, knowledgeable and competitive pricing!!! Quality!!! Quality!!! Quality!!! Highly recommend Carpet Liquidators to EVERYONE in need of carpet!!! They are VERY professional, got the job done quickly and the quality and workmanship is top notch. We highly recommend you call them. Bill & Linda Woods Lynden, WA

Dawson was the salesperson on my last purchase. He also has carpet laying experience. Anyway, everything went smoothly, and on time and in budget. I was particularly happy that I didn't have to hire a seperate worker to remove doors and baseboards in preperation. The layer there handled that, as part of the regular installation. They also had to upholster carpet onto an opening bench window seat. That takes more skill and they pulled it off, no problem. Good inventory there too. I stick to the Nylon choices for cut pile carpets, so the fibers are less prone to matting down in the traffic areas.

Even though the warranty had expired, the manager, Derek, went above and beyond to make things right. What impressed me most was not only how committed he was to ensuring our satisfaction, but also how his employees and contractors spoke so highly of him when he wasn't around. They described him as a great manager who looks out for both his customers and his team. To me, that kind of integrity matters just as much as the floor itself.

I recently moved out of an apartment on Northwest Ave in Bellingham. I know for a fact that the carpet was clean and didn't have any pet stains, because I purchased carpet cleaner specifically for deep pet stains and had gone over the entire carpet twice, and had even checked the carpet with a UV light, not one pet stain. But, according to great floors, (the property management had used this particular company to do an inspection after I had moved out) there were a lot of pet stains and almost $1,000 was deducted from my deposit to replace the carpet. I truly believe in karma, because great floors lied!! Absolutely no way that there were ANY pet stains in the carpet at my previous apartment!! If you feel like being ripped-off, then go ahead and use this company...

My experience was: Showroom has an impressive amount of product, and much of it has the price displayed. However, it turns out that a good deal of what is on display is old stock that isn't available. We cycled through several rounds of bids, one was incomplete (no materials), another had vastly overpriced labor, finally got a bid that we all agreed on. Then when the job was done and it was time to pay, the agreed upon bid disappeared and we were sent the vastly overpriced labor bid as an invoice. Quite a bit of back and forth settled when I sent their bid to them, as they denied that the bid we had agreed to existed. Generously, their estimating process and record keeping needs a lot of improvement. Most of the work done was good, generally very good. Some of the detail work was not good. I had already paid my invoice when I contacted Ralph's about the issues. No response to texts, emails, voicemails. Finally got ahold of my rep, she led with "well, they all do that", which pretty much set the tone of the conversation. Needless to say, no, they never followed up with me after promising to do so, and at this point I'll just hire someone else to complete the job. Check cashed=customer no longer exists. Summary: mostly good result, but there's got to be better options in the area.

She told me could not have it. Her reasoning was not bc it wasn't in stock, it was bc the finish was glossy. No offense to gravity challenged ppl and Treauna but this flooring was NOT FOR YOU. Then, this salty woman told me picking out flooring was not for me. Joke is on you bc everyone who has toured my home loves all of the flooring I picked out. So classless of you! I'm giving you a 1 star rating bc zero wasn't an option.

But if you would like to be treated with respect, and expect a business to stand behind what they sell, then stay away!!! I purchased a house full of tile, carpet, vinyl and countertops from this place and was treated so badly I was in tears. (I've been through several remodeling projects and have always been extremely happy; I'm definitely not a high maintenance customer!) The carpet we got from them two years ago is already shot, and the seams are coming apart. The owner, Cecil, has stood us up for not one, not two, but FOUR appointments we scheduled with him to take a look at it and see what the problem is. He just plain DID NOT SHOW UP!!! No phone calls , apologies or rescheduling - he was incredibly rude about the whole thing. The funny thing is, I dont think that we even got the carpet we ordered and paid for; I think what was installed in our home by 23rd Street Interiors is something of inferior quality. The tile installer also gouged a huge scratch in my wood floors (from tile shards imbedded in his shoes), and the "customer service" people at 23rd Street Interiors accused me of "just trying to get a new floor." No, I just wanted the floor scratch fixed!! The woman who sold everything to me, Terri, was also extremely rude. When the tile installer knocked out the electricity to the outlets on one side of my house, her reply to me was "Well NOW what are you accusing us of?!" I cannot say enough against this company - particularly the owner, Cecil Jevons.
