Usually love this place and the food. However, the older lady that works there currently is rude and it's clear she doesn't want to work. She does not put on her mask, she takes 20 minutes to make a simple juice (with NO customers) while presumably talking on the phone (unless there was someone in the back that she was talking at) and yells at you when you ask for the status. It is now mandated by law to wear a mask at all times. The owner is a cool guy, and I wouldn't want to see them get a violation due to this subpar employee. read more

First off, I'd like to say that I don't have high standards for food, especially breakfast. However, this has been -by far- the worst morning meal I have had in my 23 years of existence. My matcha latte was burnt and extremely bitter to the point where no amount of sugar could fix it. The toast presented to me had old, brown avocado, yet the customer next to me had fresh avocado. I would assume that for the price I paid for a "fresh" meal, it would be served fresh. Finally, the protein waffle I ordered would have been somewhat okay if the cook had remembered to give me the strawberries I asked for (even if they came frozen). I don't understand how so many mistakes were made in an order when there was already such a small menu... I mean, they only had 8 items for breakfast. Wonderful food and a wonderful barista, but I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable and profiled when an older woman (who appeared to be the owner) lingered around our chairs. This woman was so close she could've grabbed my hand, and immediately removed all things off of the counter away from us, as if we were to steal something. She STARED us down forcing us to leave the cafe before we were finished eating, as we were incredibly uncomfortable. As the only colored people in the restaurant, I couldn't help but feel targeted. This place is AMAZING!! I went in for coffee and ended up trying one of their doughnuts, and both were awesome, and I very familiar with GF food and restaurants trying to serve GF food. My daughter has celiac's disease, so she cannot even touch anything with gluten. She does not have an option, she MUST eat all gf food. She also cannot eat any food prepared close to non-gf food, so eating out is always a risk for her. That's why I am so happy about this place, the doughnut was delicious, reasonably priced, and their menu offers a lot of variety for breakfast, lunch, snacks, etc. I also don't have to worry about cross contamination of food or limit her to only two options on the menu. We'll be going there for breakfast this weekend, and hopefully many more times. read more

At all these stops I do my best to eat clean, healthy, soy free, gluten free, energizing, real food. It's not always easy, but sometimes you hit the jackpot. Miami has found its spot peeps, seriously this place is off the chain good. The Acai bowl is ridiculously good. tried the ginger lemon shot and I was wired for hours with no caffeine. Best part... it was literally $9 bucks. When I go to LA or NYC, I can't get out of those places with out leaving behind at least $20, here it was quick n out, nice, friendly and reasonable. After placing my order and tipping 15% I had to wait beyond 30 mins in an otherwise empty place for a gooey (rather raw) protein blueberry-waffle, delivered with a pretentious "sorry about that" and weird (mostly unfriendly) attitude. While visiting Brickell last week, I was super excited to get an Acai bowl and chose to visit Cure based on reviews. I walked in and saw young lady with afro hair at the counter and I greeted her first. No biggie- she seems busy on her cell phone with a credit card in hand. I then took a seat at the bar and waited for service. She was two feet and and never looked up nor acknowledged my presence for a good minute or 2. It finally interrupted her phone session and asked when someone would help me. Her response " Oh you wanted to order?" ummmm yea. I asked for Acai bowl- which they were out of.
