Very good service and very flexible schedule. Kim is great! Always sent text and pic to update me about Butter. Butter is still a puppy, and cant walk outside yet, but Kim will help clean her pee and poop in my apartment too. Super nice and professional! read more

I had the best experience with Curb Your Pooch! Kim was super professional and so good with my little ShihTzu Jack. I knew I didn't have to worry about Jack getting a nice long afternoon walk. Kim was super flexible with my schedule. She even brought him to my office a couple of times after his walk. She went above and beyond. She came every day and took him for a good walk, changed his water and gave him a treat. He learned how to walk better on the leash and he even lost weight! I am moving to Cali and I don't know what I'm going to do! Curb Your Pooch set the bar really high! I HIGHLY recommend using them. I wish I could bring them with me!! read more

As a new resident to nyc with a dog, finding a reliable, safe and friendly dog walker can be a bit overwhelming. It was such a blessing to find Kim at curb your pooch. She was very flexible in our meeting, and picking up oliver for his long weekend. She provided daily updates on oliver. When we came back, he had food and water- and was exhausted! He clearly had a lot of fun playing over the weekend. I will absolutely use her again and again, and recommend to everyone with a pooch in nyc. Thanks again!!! read more

I've been using CYP since 2012 and extremely happy with their service! They're professional and communicative at all times. The boarding service is impeccable and Leo was happy and well taken care while I was away, Pictures were taken and sent to me throughout the duration of his boarding stay which made me more at ease while apart. I highly recommend using their service for the best care of your pet. read more

We reviewed ALL dog care options downtown, and after 2 years of (expensive) daily dog care at one of the drop off locations, we finally came to Curb Your Pooch recently and LOVE the service. They are the best, and half the price of a full dog care facility. Our dog loves our walker, Ricardo, and Kim is great to work with. Billing is seamless (via Chase Quick Pay), and whenever we need a dog walk on Sat evenings if we are going out for the night they are ready to acommodate. Our dog is 7 yrs old now, and after 6-7 years of research and experience, there is no doubt that this is the best option. read more

I began using CYP a little over a year ago and have had nothing but glowing experiences with them. Their prices are better than every other company in the city, and everyone there is extremely friendly and flexible. My dog's walker, Ricardo, seemed to genuinely love my little guy, and Kim has been great in communicating with me re: my dog's arthritis problems during the cold and winter. They are also very accommodating when it comes to needing surprise walks or in canceling walks (even day of!). My pup has since passed away, but I will definitely give them a call if and when I get another. read more

I've used Curb Your Pooch for a couple of months now. The service is very reliable and Kim even helped me out when a visit to the emergency room turned out to be a several day hospital stay. She picked the dogs up and boarded them for me. That was a huge relief. I definitely recommend! read more

I called Kim at Curb Your Pooch the day brought home my rescue dog. Kim came to meet us the next day and was not deterred by my dog's anxiety or social issues. She, along with her team of walkers, has been walking my dog since May and I couldn't be happier with their service. She is always reachable by cell or email (unlike other services I've use in the past). I can call her in the afternoon if I think I am running late at work and she will have some one come by for a late day walk without a problem. They leave helpful notes and send me email updates. I have also used them for overnight boarding and Kim sends me emails and pictures of my little lady throughout the weekend. She always looks happy and well taken care of. My dog does not do well with strangers but she loves all of the walkers from Curbyourpooch. They are also very affordable compared to other services I have looked into. I can't recommend them enough. They do a wonderful job. read more

I stand by my review. I do not recommend this business due to the lack of care and professionalism when there is a problem. It took you 7 weeks to return my key only AFTER I emailed you asking for it. I didn't attack your character in my review nor mention what caused me to cancel my service. I mentioned how long it took me to get the key to my HOME back. Everything in my review is true. You can attack my character on Yelp if it helps your business. Bottomline -- I canceled my service and it took 7 weeks to get my house key. read more

Curb Your Pooch is a great service. We heard about them through Yelp and we were not disappointed. We used them for about 18 months with our young puppy. They always performed as they said they would and went out of their way for special requests like extra walks, reinforcing special commands and behaviors. Kim was always responsive and courteous. We would recommend them to anyone in the area, unfortunately we are no longer in the area. We will miss them. read more

Absolutely fantastic! Super customer friendly and responsive...so good with our dog, Duncan, on walks and overnight stays. Goes above and beyond to ensure that we feel good about how Duncan is doing when we are away by sending regular updates and photos. Truly a great service and partner!!! read more

Absolutely the best and most reliable dog walking service in Manhattan. I lived in NYC for about 2 years and used the Curb Your Pooch walking services for about the last year in Midtown East. The owner of the business, Kim, is extremely responsive and responsible. They are very flexible with last minute requests to add walks or when walks are not necessary, and will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. My dog loved the walks, and I never had to worry whether the dog walker would show up, etc. read more

This has been a great dog walker experience, I used this service for about a year with no complains. The owner, Kim, was extremely friendly and accommodating, Her and the dog walker worked with me to get the second dog in my house hold (who was unfriendly to strangers) to become used to idea of the dog walker coming into the apartment to take my dog out and even walked this second dog once free of charge. They were always on point and even found walkers to come to my friend's apartment while my dog stayed there while I was on vacation. Overall a great experience, wonderful people, I definitely recommend. read more

I decided to go with 'Curb Your Pooch' after pricing out and interviewing several dog walkers in the area. When I met with the owners for the initial consultation I was really impressed with how professional and knowledgeable they were- i felt really good about using them. I had just gotten my new puppy who was a 6 week old rescue and I was really nervous and concerned about caring for such a young puppy and the potential challenges that come along with rescues. Kim (my walker) has really stepped up to the plate and has been so helpful in Taylee's care. Not only has she been consistently dependable for Taylee's daily walks and feedings but has also played a huge role in training Taylee (leash walking, housebreaking, etc.). She leaves detailed daily notes about visits and has been very flexible and accommodating with unscheduled "emergency visits". I have been very happy with this company and thankful that I found them on the first try! I have heard horror stories about other's experiences trying to find a good dog walker. read more

Great service -- Kim comes to you to meet your dog and discuss what your specifics needs are.. training, treats, timing. She also gives good advice and emailed me when she thought Oliver had an eye infection. Flexible, reliable, and well priced. read more

We've been using Curb Your Pooch since we moved to the Lower East Side and have had a great couple of years with Kim and Ricardo. Kim was always super fast to respond in emergency situations - whether it was a last minute evening walk, our need to cancel a walk for the day, or even one time when we locked ourselves out and they came by with the keys. Ricardo has been nothing but patient and kind with our lovely (but sometimes anxious and barky) dog and we never had any cause to worry or complain about anything. We will miss living in the neighborhood and using Curb Your Pooch- it's hard to find dog walkers you can trust that show the level of flexibility and professionalism that Kim and Ricardo have displayed over the years. read more

I used Curb Your Pooch for 4 years until I moved away from NYC and I can't say enough positive things about the service and team! Kim was always super responsive over email and text and was wonderful with Penny the several times I boarded Penny with her. I received a photo update from Kim every day of boarding which was always a highlight. Lydia walked Penny twice a day, 5 days a week, and was always extremely dependable, leaving notes about how each walk went and feeding Penny a meal every afternoon. When Penny had to get back surgery and was on "crate rest" for 2 months, the Curb Your Pooch team was as caring and attentive as I could have asked for, and were consistent in following care instructions while she was recovering. I've recommended Curb Your Pooch to multiple dog parent friends who all feel the same way. They're the best! read more

So disappointed that I had to fire Curb Your Pooch after a one year relationship. Unbeknownst to me, my dog was walked and fed three hours earlier than our usual appointment which had been set all year. If not for my neighbor, I would not know this was happening. When I confronted Kim, the owner, her response was that she is very busy and has many clients. Why didnt I get a call or text that they werent able to come at the usual time, and would earlier be acceptable for me/the dog? I was basically told to go find another dogwalker. It made me really wonder how much they cared for my dog, or just the payment they received for my dog. Be careful if you decide to choose to use Curb Your Pooch. read more

Curbed Your Pooch is a phenomenal service! Kim is super reliable and loves my baby girl so much. I know Muffy (my 12 lb shih tzu) loves Kim too. My little dog has to wear booties when she goes out for walks because she is very fluffy and white and gets filthy on the Manhattan streets without them and Kim has always put them on her. She is really great and I am so lucky to have her as our dog walker. Thank you Kim for your wonderful service and for caring for our baby!!! read more

I was very disappointed at the rudeness of the supposed owner of this so-called-service. After making a date to meet I called to confirm and was told she didn't hear from me so made other plans. What?? After asking to reschedule and a few other questions about where my dog would be staying, etc. Kimberly was extremely dismissive and unapologetic. I would NEVER use or recommend them. Thank goodness I didn't give her my precious dog! OMG. read more

I started using Curb Your Pooch when my puppy Bowie was only 12 weeks old and I have been so pleased with the service. We started out doing the Puppy Playtime and transitioned into walks once his shots were up to date. They are reliable, flexible and trustworthy and Bowie has gotten more well behaved as he's continued to walk with them. I've also used Curb Your Pooch for boarding and Kim sent me many updates throughout Bowies stay, ensuring that he was okay! Unfortunately I'm moving out of the city so I have to find a new dog walker but I highly recommend Curb Your Pooch! read more

Above and beyond! When I first adopted my dog, she wasn't housebroken. Kim and Carmen, her walker, were amazingly helpful in guiding me (a first time dog owner) through a routine that would help my dog learn when and where to go! They're always professional, responsive and easy to work with. read more
