What a lovely drive thru coffee stand! They have an extensive menu with unique flavor options. I was very impressed with the chai and making it dirty gave the extra boost that I needed. The service was great and the barista was friendly!

Stopped at Safeway for sandwiches before going to silver falls and needed our morning cup of joy. We're visiting Oregon, so that Starbucks coffee with the limited menu in a grocery store (that I can get at home) won't due. 0.3 miles to try something new, always the way to go... and yet again glad we did. Cuppa Joe had multiple non-dairy options (oat, soy, almond) and tons of other selections, candy inspired coffee?! I don't know if I'll ever be back, but thanks for today's cuppa joe

    Delicious cuppa Joe!

I was lucky enough to move next to this swingin coffee joint and it did not dissapoint! The friendly staff, delicious coffee, and variety of drinks keeps me coming back every morning! Best place in Stayton!

I still love Cuppa Joe! Best coffee anywhere. And by coffee I mean sugary dessert beverage that is so good to your whole day. Jessica and Tracy always remember what I like to drink - the caramel silk blended, of course. I like to take advantage of their gift card special where if you buy a $25 gift card you get a free 16 oz drink, because let's face it, I'm going to definitely spend that $25. But here's a tip, you can't get a punch on your punch card when you use a gift card. I think it's considered like a double dip. :)

I love this place! When we moved out here, I was worried that I would miss my occasional coffee runs. Super happy to have stumbled upon this place. The coffee is delicious and the staff is super helpful and friendly! So many choices to make is the worst thing about this place!

    Iced Reese's. Yummy!

Coffee was good, but I didn't like being charged fifty cent because I asked for over an inch of cream in my coffee.

We were heading to visit family in the area for dinner and were asked to bring dessert. While…read moredriving through Stayton, my wife remembered The Lovin Oven from years ago. We also recalled that there was some connection to Gerry Frank's Konditorei in Salem, which immediately caught our interest. After doing a little research, we discovered there's a deep and fascinating history linking the two businesses. The Lovin Oven began in 1983, when founder Doreen Helmemn operated the bakery out of her home. In 1993, the business expanded into a small storefront in downtown Stayton after being purchased by Mike and Valerie Schultz. Mike, who was formerly a logger, was personally taught cake decorating by the original founder, an origin story that adds to the bakery's charm and authenticity. One of the most interesting details we learned is that The Lovin Oven is the primary baker for Gerry Frank's Konditorei in Salem, a partnership that dates back to the 1980s. That relationship grew even stronger in 2017, when the Schultzes became co-owners of the Konditorei. Many people enjoying desserts at high-end restaurants throughout the region may not realize that their cakes were baked in Stayton. The Lovin Oven is especially well known for its Champagne Raspberry cake, Marionberry cheesecake, and an impressive variety of gourmet bars and cookies. Their menu also includes cakes, cheesecakes, cinnamon rolls, brownies, cupcakes, and more, something for just about every dessert preference. The bakery itself is housed in an industrial-style building that includes the production bakery, a storefront, and a small seating area where you can enjoy your treats on site. The outside is a unique with a black painted brick exterior. The customer facing area of the inside is industrial. We picked up a selection of cupcakes to take to dinner and were quickly back on the road. The cupcakes were a hit, everyone loved them, and they disappeared fast. It felt great to share something local with such a rich backstory. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we're glad we stopped. If you find yourself passing through Stayton or looking for high-quality desserts in the Willamette Valley, The Lovin Oven is absolutely worth checking out.
