This is the first Korean place I've been to where they requested you come an hour earlier versus thirty minutes. Seemed like a long time to soak. There's also no clock inside the actual bathing area, so difficult to keep track of time. Also, first time going to a Korean spa where they want it to be absolutely silent. I get that they are going for a relaxed environment, but kind of difficult to just soak for an hour and not chit chat amongst ourselves. The shower/soaking area is on the smaller side and for some reason, they didn't have any stools for the sitting bathing areas available. There's one hot tub, one ice tub, a dry sauna, and steam sauna. This would have been more of a three-star experience for me if not for the scrub. My ahjumma, Lee, was great; very attentive and did a very thorough job! Not mentioned in the list of services, but they also wash your hair and face as well as part of the thirty-minute scrub. After our scrub, we headed upstairs to try out the Himalayan salt room and the red clay room. They had staff cleaning throughout so they definitely take cleanliness seriously. Locker room area has lots of Aveda product toiletries and blow dryers available for after. As we were leaving, they gave a face and eye mask which was much appreciated. I can see this being a go-to place if you live in the city, especially if you prioritize relaxation and cleanliness. Just be sure to make an appointment ahead of time.

I think the place had about 2 or 3 stations and they are all in a private room. The rooms are a good size and did not feel crammed. I did the Immersive Scalp Therapy for an hour in a half. The service was great for my first time. My scalp definitely felt very clean after and I think my scalp was very happy with me. My experience here was so pleasant and Moon would make sure that the pressure she applied when massage and washing my hair was exactly how I like it. Her techniques are amazing and even though it wasn't a part of the service package I chose, Moon went above and beyond and gave me a complimentary leg/foot massage and it felt incredible. I stumbled upon Moon Beauty Spa on Yelp and quickly texted them to find their availability. Moon texted back very quickly and got me in within 30 minutes! This is not your ordinary head spa. She went above and beyond. Moon checked me in at the front desk and I was able to choose an essential oil scent from the large selection up front. She started off with taking me into the service room, instructing me to change into a robe and situating myself on the bed. She started off by cleansing my face, applying a warm towel, massaging my face and placed a face mask on. It was really a mini facial. She then proceeded to ask the pressure of how I wanted my head massage. She really did an amazing job massaging and had many different tools to help get a clean scrub of my scalp. The facial products were gentle and hair products had an invigorating, tingling sensation. She washed my hair two times, very thoroughly. She massaged my arms, neck, shoulders and legs while my hair was conditioning. She finished off washing my hair and blow drying. She is very thoroughly and gentle, it is an extremely luxurious experience. This is NOT your ordinary head spa. You will get a full experience of a facial, massage and head spa. She works very hard to make sure you are getting the best service. She went above and beyond my expectations and I hope you guys give her a chance like I did! Ascending the staircase to the front doors of BW, almost feels magical. I was quickly greeted, given a key to my locker, and then the doors of Oz opened! The lighting is just right, and the facilities are spotless. The robe awaiting me in my locker, unfortunately, was a size petite... I'm 6'1" 250 pounds though! I encountered another patron (i think) who reached through an 'employees only' door to find a 4XL sized robe which fit perfectly. Took a 15 minute jacuzzi. After helping myself to some cucumber, water and lemonade, I relaxed/napped in the waiting room for about 10 minutes... Waiting for my name to be whispered. The shiatsu/Swedish massage from Deirdre (sp?) was exquisite! Right pressure. Right amount of engaging conversation. She answered my questions and offered suggestions with just the right amount of empathy. After the 50 minute massage, I returned to the locker room for a session in the sauna, steam room, and took a shower. I wish the changing area in the locker room was a bit roomier, but that is my only gripe.

I got the O2 facial for $120 and I thought she did an excellent job. She massaged my neck, arms, and face very well. Placed hot towels and hot stones over my body to loosen up the skin and muscles which were amazing. The room had the right mood with the lighting and music and overall, I thought she did a great job and my skin felt amazing after the process. Would definitely go back again for any future facial needs.
