The location is small but extremely convenient and the acupuncturist is always kind and thorough. I'm lowkey convinced he's a magician because I always have instant pain relief after I leave here. My last visit was for an elbow sprain, I walked in with 8/10 pain and after my 30 minute session I could already feel the relief. By the time I got home, the pain reduced by 50% and my mobility was up. I haven't tried the Chinese herbal medicine portion of the clinic but I'm very interested and will probably look into it soon. Highly recommend dropping by if you're dealing with any type of pain.

After taking the herbs, my allergies have gotten much better as well as some food intakes. The receptionist is super nice. I thought they take walk ins, which I came around 3pm, to tell me to come back at 5:20pm for the next appointment. I guess I could of called first when I first came but the reviews said that they take walk ins. A week later, for my second appointment, I came at 12:30pm. They had a sign that they don't take walk ins. Both appointments for some reason had me waited about 20-30 mins after check in before seeing me. I did give her feedback about why, and she said because the doctor was doing acupuncture. I think in the future they should plan that out if it was going to take longer or not. Overall the experience was great. Doctor is super chill and nice. Taking the medicine is a breeze. I like that it's in powder form so traveling to work is easy to take with just a cup of warm water in my thermal.

I've been coming to see Olivia and David for over 10 years and they are both very skilled and gifted acupuncturist!! They also helped my son when he was going through growing pains as a young teenager. They've also helped me with my chronic pain throughout the years , since I was in an accident. They are both very caring, and no up-to-date medical information. David also likes to make a number of herbal tees, tinctures, and solves! I'm so lucky to have found them!! I will continue to visit them and it's always great to get a good nights sleep after my acupuncture and cupping appointment!! I suggest everybody at least check them out!! plus I love their new Sunnyville Office. It's closer for me. Lol they also have an office in Brentwood California in case you're in the East Bay!!

Essentially cash only and no returns. Very limited English so communication maybe hard if you don't speak Chinese. Not really friendly but the get-stuff-done-and-go type of place and not a place to learn about traditional medicine if you want to start exploring. Had most of the essentials I was looking for that Lion Market and 99 Ranch didn't have so can't complain too much. Anytime I have a lingering cough, I turn to Chinese medicine now. I once had a cough for 6 months and Western medicine wasn't helping and caused my urine to have a chemical smell. I use a combination of products: Sanshedan Chuanbeiye Herbal Extract Fritillary Bulb Extract Wuyang Brand 浓缩三蛇胆川贝液 - ($4.95) for cough, resolve phlegm, clear heat, and detoxify Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa Herbal Dietary Supplement with Honey and Loquat 京都念慈菴 蜜煉川貝枇杷膏 - ($9.95) for cough and sore throat Luo Han Guo Granules 罗汉果冲剂 - Monk fruit tea for cough or sore throat. Also high in vitamin C, protein and has 18 basic amino acids. Due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, Luo Han Guo extract has been used to blend with other herbal extracts to enhance the immune system Juhong Tan Ke Ke Li 香雪 橘红咳痰颗粒 - ($8.95) for cough and colds Wang Lao Ji Lozenge Cough Herbal Candy 王老吉润喉糖 - ($3.75) cough drops to soothe the throat Some other helpful items: Po Chai Pills / Bao Ji Wan 李衆勝堂 保濟丸 - used as a remedy for the relief of indigestion, heartburn, vomiting, diarrhea, and bloating. Also used as a hangover prevention remedy. Cheezheng Pain Relieving Plaster ($23.95) - For temporary relief of minor pains associated with athletic injuries, arthritis, bruises & sprains, backache, muscular fatigues, stiff necks & shoulders

From the pristine state of the shop to the warm hospitality I received from the moment I entered, this place is definitely a shop I'll be returning to often. The staff are remarkably friendly and genuinely helpful, playing a huge role in making the experience smooth as silk. I came in with a prescription from abroad and with their help we managed to figure out a dosage to start me off with. I do appreciate that they gave me a small supply to trial things (just to see if it works) rather than trying to sell me up on a larger batch. Staff were focused on what I needed and thoroughly explained things rather than trying to make a quick buck; we discussed symptoms to verify medication appropriateness, double checked on whether the pricing made sense for my prescription dosage, and even reminded me to drink hot water for my headaches. It also helps that they know both Mandarin and Cantonese to boot, so between all these factors I certainly feel like I can trust them to know their stuff and treat folks with respect. Even on the financial front, a week's supply of medication for $40 is competitive with prices back in Hong Kong, so pretty much everything seems top notch. We'll see whether the dosage is about right, but Willie promptly gave his card to me just in case I had questions or if anything didn't make sense. Their customer service is worth praising and I plan on being a regular here.
