Craving something sweet before the game. Saw the balloons out front and went in to check them out. The employee behind the counter was so nice. They offer several varieties of cupcakes including gluten free and vegan. We decided on two key lime pie cupcakes, the cookies and cream cupcake, and the carrot cake cupcake. They were all so moist and delicious. The standout cupcake was the key lime pie flavor. There was a graham cracker crust at the bottom and the center had key lime pie filling. It was decadent and delicious. Both my husband and I enjoyed these very much.

So happy to see that Cupcakin has a location right outside the Chase Center! While it was my first time visiting this location, they are by far my favorite cupcakes in the Bay Area! Surprisingly they still had a nice selection to choose from towards the end of the day. Service was fast and my treats were delicious.

Such a cute place to get a sweet treat! I got a couple of mini cupcakes here for my birthday, the red velvet and the lemon blackberry. I loved them both! The lemon blackberry had the right amount of tartness, and I loved the cream cheese frosting of the red velvet. Perfectly bite sized, would definitely come here for another celebratory treat!

Cupcakin Bake Shop makes the most decadent and delicious cupcakes ever! They have the perfect amount of sweetness in every bite and always moist and never dry. So many unique flavors from Hostess chocolate to lemon cream pie flavors. Great customer service, rewards system, and cute ambiance! I will definitely come back for more cupcakes!

Key Lime Pie and Oreo Cupcakes- $10.50

Tasty and cute cupcakes at the Chase Center! Went on a Wednesday late afternoon and there was no line. Got both a key lime pie and Oreo cupcakes. The bigger ones were $5.25 each and the mini ones were $2.25 each. Enjoyed both... preferred the key lime pie because it was not too tarty and well-balanced. The Oreo one was not too sweet! I usually like my chocolate on the sweeter side. Overall, pretty expensive for one cupcake but that seemed to be the new norm! Probably will stop by again if I was craving a cupcake nearby.

unfortunately the person in front of me got the last key lime liked the lemon cream slightly better than the carrot since it has lemon curd filling and a graham cracker crust. the one worker was very patient with questions (and he missed watching usa vs paraguay bc he was working ) . no seating inside so plan to eat elsewhere

I absolutely love cupcakes from here and prefer it to most cakes! The cake itself is perfectly spongy, and I love the flavor offerings, with red velvet and coffee being my favorite. The buttercream is very heavy on the butter, and that tends to put me off a bit but i just eat as much as I can. The staff here is super kind and helpful. I love how this location is located next to the Chase Center. Makes for a yummy pre-game snack or post-dinner dessert!

I had another excellent experience with a Too Good to Go bag, as the wonderful staff Aa'Qyra remembered that I had a nut allergy, without me even saying anything, and made sure I got a box without nuts. The cupcakes were delicious as always and the holiday decorations were elegant and welcoming. Thank you, Aa'Qyra!

Many different flavors to choose from! They have regular size or mini cupcakes. I would recommend going for the regular size since the mini ones are literally one bite. My favorite that I tried is the key lime flavor one. This is a unique flavor that I haven't seen elsewhere and has the perfect balance of tartness with sweetness. The other cupcakes were all great choices. Every one of them was frosted nicely. I would say this is a great option to go for a quick dessert if youre around the Chase center but I don't know if I would go out of the way to get some.

Key Lime Pie Cupcake comes with a graham cracker bottom!? It's a must try. I didn't go by the shop so I don't know what the ambiance is like, however, I know these cupcakes by taste! They have mini cup cakes which are small but not anything less than a regular size cupcake. They are not overly sweet! And buttery and cakey cake. They have a lot of great flavors and so far I haven't had one that I didn't like. I figured out this is the same business my job orders from in oakland. We've ordered only the minis for our job (great idea for your staff if you have a business) but they have been unforgettable.

I wasn't terribly blown away by the flavors. It certainly is a good sweet treat when you need one.

I only tried it because I could neither spell nor pronounce it, but my goodness was I glad I did. It was literally heaven in my mouth. Since then, I have nary turned down Kouign-Amman when I see it on a menu. But never has any tasted quite as good as the one in Sedona... Today came close when I stopped at Arsicault Bakery. The line was a little intimidating but once in line it moves quickly. 15 minutes. I love Kouign-amann for what it is and isn't. It has simple Ingredients. A classic pastry from Brittany, France, it only contains yeast dough, butter, and sugar. Bakers fold sugar and butter into the dough in layers. As it bakes, the sugar melts to create a crispy, caramelized crust on the outside and soft, buttery layers on the inside--with no fruit fillings, so the one I tried in Sedona did a modern twist on it that strayed from its traditional counterpart, which I just happened to absolutely love. The Arsicault version has an impeccably crispy, caramelized crust and buttery layers inside that are so spongy and soft. It was rounded perfection. Given that it's been 6 years since I was Layla's Bakery in Sedona I cannot with certainty say which was better: Sedona wins for modifying the traditional with added apple compote (kudos to them for that tweak), but Arsicault wins for how close it is to what the traditional kouign-amann should be. The crisp, caramelized outer layers contrast with the satisfyingly soft center. Perfection. They say Arsicault has the best croissants in San Francisco. I haven't tried many others here, but I believe from what I've had of this so far that statement is likely accurate. I am too full at present to eat the almond croissant, but will tonight to make my decision on how it fares compared to the best almond croissant I've had thus far--in Santa Barbara at Goat Tree Cafe.

Never could score a preorder box, and instead, line up at 7:45 (earliest you can line up) and wait until opening at 9. Usually spend total 1.5 hours here after receiving the pastries. No matter what flavor the croissant is, it is consistently flaky and buttery. The classic pistachio cardamom sugar croissant is one of my favorite sweet items. Its not too sweet and the flavors are prominent. The rice roll was my favorite monthly flavor for september. The bun was pillowy and soft with meat, scallions and cilantro scattered throughout. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. There is a max 10 pastries, 3 of each pastries limit for each party. They're also able to separate pastries into different boxes if requested when ordering.

The Pistachio croissant...Pretty special, I never had it with a cream filling. The little flat bread with eggplant and pomegranates and harissa drizzle...super!. Tahini chocolate.....the list goes on...The olive bread. So if you are going to make it to any part of the northern CA area, specially San Francisco (Yes, there are great bakeries around here), I would put this on the top of the list, as the preparation is all from scratch, and the unique flavors and approach to some well known treats is something one must enjoy. Oh, and on top of that, I ordered a plain espresso, and the barista managed to do it justice. So dont be on the fence on the coffee making and quality. The location is on the steeper roads that I have no idea how people deal with living here. Good job, as once you stop in the middle of the climb, you will likely spin some tire to get traction, and that is on a dry day! The bakery is among a residential area.

I hadn't had a traditional one yet this year, so that was a plus for me. Normally I'm not crazy about the nut moon cakes, but this one was terrific! It was the best moon cake I've had in a while - regular lotus seed with yolk and nuts. The lady at the bakery reminded me of an "auntie" and she was super friendly! Even though today was moon cake, I took a chance and asked if she had any wife cake (Low Po Behng). Unfortunately she didn't, but we had a nice little conversation in Cantonese and it brought me back to childhood and Chinatown in L.A. back in the day. Some people might not like that it's closed (I think that's when she runs out or isn't baking that day) but that's just how it goes.
