If you have a sweet tooth then you're going to love it here. I, on the other hand, am not a sweet tooth. I found everything way too sweet for my liking. The brownie was just too rich for me. I did enjoy the lilikoi cake since the lilikoi gave a more citrus taste which masked the sweetness of the cake. Don't get me wrong, the cake was dense but also moist. My cousin loved her bing bong and ate all of it. Not sure why we didn't get banana bread, especially with the bakery called banananrama.

Honestly all of them were great, but top 3 were: - shiso - I didn't know what to expect, but the flavors works so well together. Such a unique combo, with subtle shiso flavor! Highly recommend. - kamato - I didn't know if I'd like it so only got one piece.. after trying I wish I had more. - peach - this is my perfect mochi. The white filling just works and it's not too sweet. I know the strawberry is their #1 seller so I tried it and it's really good, it was maybe my 5th favorite of the mochis tried. Very pricey at $16 for a 4-5" bar, but it was worth it to try it once. The chocolate was smooth and high quality, the pistachio cream was sweet with a hint of pistachio flavor, and the kataifi was pleasantly crunchy. I would have loved more pistachio flavor, but it was a nice little chocolate treat. Looking forward to trying more things from Short n Sweet in the future. Lots of free parking and tables to eat at in an open air area with ample seating, but it's hot inside (though there are fans). The place seems catered to locals more than tourists. Service was perfectly fine and cordial. Got there around noon and many things were already sold out. Was able to get a regular malasada (4 out of 5) and an ube malasada (5 out of 5).
