The owner is really responsive, very creative, and has made themed cakes for us from anything for 10 people to 50, each of them turning out beautifully, and tasting amazing. We have not had a single birthday party where several people have asked where the cake/cupcakes came from..... and we order bigger cakes now so everyone can take a little home. They are THAT good. They keep ready-made cakes for last minute needs as well, in all sizes. And some lovely cupcakes in different flavors - strawberry, honeydew, vanilla, lemon, red velvet - you name it. The texture is different, so if you are looking for traditional airy box-style cake mix flavor, then go elsewhere. These cakes are a little heavier in texture, but less sweet, and definitely worth the price! Eunice is a wonderful baker. And a piano teacher! Friendly, kind, very knowledgeable and open to all kinds of ideas for themes. You won't be disappointed. We LOVE Pink Belle.

My favorite favorite place!!! I love getting my birthday cake from here, a Kentucky bourbon flavor…read more It's bourbon vanilla cake with pecans and chocolate chips with cream cheese frosting. I discovered the flavor through a "cake box" and have been going back for the flavor ever since. Behind birthday cake, the cupcakes are always fresh and moist, with generous amounts of frosting and fillings (as a good cupcake should be). With the exception of the chocolate frosting, which is more of a sticky ganache (in the best way), the frosting tends to be a buttercream consistency. The workers are always kind and knowledgeable of the flavors. Beyond the basic monthly flavors, they rotate monthly flavors and usually have even more flavors from the cake box and slice section.

Came home, dipped the fork in the chocolate icing , expecting some rich form of chocolate. It tastes like 'canned' Duncan Hines ready made frosting ( and looks like it too) nothing homemade about this! Cake was okay. Filling was scarce. The store also had small clamshells with a layer cake in them.... Ridiculous ! Those were 8/9$? At least my cupcake was only 4$.

The ambiance was quiet and the store was decorated nice. We ordered the lemon, banana pudding, and Dubai chocolate mini bundtlets. The lemon was nice and moist with a distinct lemon flavor that was not artificial tasting. The Dubai chocolate was moist as well either a decadent chocolate taste and pistachio filling that was light and not artificial tasting as well. The banana had a great flavor as well. You could order the mini bundtlets, large Bundt cake, or small cupcake- like portions as well. There were also beverages (hot and cold) available. All in all, a nice place to grab a sweet treat when in the area.

I was greeted as I entered the store. They had a small selection of cupcakes to choose from and the owner who I will add was very nice, described the flavors. I made my purchase and her toddler daughter gave the sweetest goodbye. Now the cupcakes, in my opinion lacked flavor and they were either stale and/or refrigerated previously. I purchased to share with friends and we all shared the same thoughts. Unfortunately, they went into the trash as they were not edible. I'm hoping this was a bad day but a waste of my $20.

We'd had a death in the family and I wanted to send both a flower-like cupcake bouquet as well as zoo animal cookies for the 3 younger kids. This place & these owners went above & beyond what I EVER would have expected, particularly when you're calling them from Texas and they know I will never be able to actually see in person what they did or didn't do. Instead, they made everything fresh Monday morning, then delivered it TWICE since no one was there the first time, they called me, I made some calls, then they actually waited around & returned to hand deliver it again about 30 minutes later to a thrilled family of 5, which included 3 small children who were just thrilled with the different cookie animals. The cost was VERY reasonable and I can assure you, if you opt to use this company, you will get more than your money's worth as well as the personal touch that is so often missing in today's large stores and companies. I will continue to use this shop for all my needs in Virginia, including birthdays, mother's day, father's day, etc. You simply can't go wrong. Please feel free to e-mail me if you want more info on this delightful company: pwalkerattorney@msn.com thank you again Designer Pastry! You are the BEST & deserve TEN stars instead of just FIVE!! Victoria, thanks again for going the extra mile to get everything delivered Monday, even though it took you until 6p!! Sincerely, Pamela Walker, Granbury, Texas (just outside of Fort Worth).

Unfortunately, 7 Muffins A Day didn't meet my expectations :( The young man who served us was friendly but didn't seem very knowledgeable about the products. The good: nice to see the variety of pastries, croutons, and dinner rolls available. The bad: the chocolate donut was almost inedible--very hard, with the only pleasant part othe donut was the chocolate icing. The okay: the cupcakes were better. I enjoyed the strawberry icing and filling, but the cake itself was quite dry, possibly due to the dairy-free ingredients. The chocolate cupcake was good, but the strawberry was definitely the standout. I'm not sure I would return unless they update their recipes to make their cupcakes more moist.
