Walking inside on Saturday around 8:15, there weren't many customers. I walked up to the counter and ordered Dave the All American Breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, cheddar biscuit and potatoes. I ordered the Southwest Omelette with sausage, green peppers, onions, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes and a side of potatoes and toast. All American. Breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, cheddar biscuit, and potatoes was Dave's order. The cheddar biscuit was nearly the size of my hand. Easily 2.5 times larger than average biscuits. My former manager, Jimmy Randolph, told me years ago that his mother made cat head biscuits. The biscuit was at least the size of a cat's head. The cheddar biscuit was delicious. Dave said everything about his order except the potatoes was ok. He is a simple man who does not want green peppers, onions or anything else cooked with his potatoes. As soon as he saw the add ons to his side of potatoes, he had a grumpy look. He refused to eat said add ons. He said he wouldn't order a side of potatoes again. 3/5 My Southwest Omelette and potatoes was average. The omelette was cooked too much. It was dry. There wasn't enough cheese in my humble opinion. The potatoes were ok. The potatoes were boiled with no crisp edges. I prefer crispy potatoes. I did eat the add ons. They were flavorful. 3/5 The menu lists breakfast potatoes. No description of additional bell peppers and onions added. I bought a few petit fours. Two vanilla and two chocolate for $8. They were beautifully decorated and tasted good. They were not the best I have had but not the worst. 4/5 I will return to Edgar's. They have many bakery items to select from. If you have a need for a fast birthday cake or any dessert, they have it. Please stop by and try their desserts. You will enjoy them. 4/5

The young person (woman) decided to help me, she was silent (didnt speak a courteous word.) I was asking about the Easter cupcakes, she simply demanded "which ones do you want". She then proceeded to put the selected cupcakes in a carry out vessel and crushed the lovely icing into the top of the clamshell. She never even slowed down to see what she did. She then went away for several minutes while I was trying to checkout without cupcakes. Once the first (helper???) actually brought the cupcakes the checkout person turned them on their side. This causes the icing to just slide off of the top of their respective cupcakes. So basically, Edgar ruined my wifes Easter surprise. I won't visit this business ag!

It's in the Research Park area, not too far off from University Drive. It's tucked away a little bit, next to the new Viet Crispwich restaurant, but on the bright side there's plentiful parking. The vibes are pretty much immaculate here. Bright, cheerful, airy, but also private if you need -- there are several reclusive booths covered by archways, a perfect hidden away spot to work on a laptop or something. They have cute merchandise and even dedicated items and areas to keep little ones entertained. There's seating indoors and a couple of patio tables and chairs outside too. Service was pleasant enough. We didn't chat much but I was greeted and smiled at and my beverage was ready in a timely manner, so that's all you really need. The menu has coffee classics and then a few seasonal specials. There's matcha too, at least currently. There are supposed to be some baked goods for snackage, but when I visited at about 10:30 on Monday, they only had a few cookies and a brownie. I was hoping for something more in the realm of banana bread or a muffin, but they were wiped out. Maybe Monday is a restock day. They're only open til 2 PM, so definitely a morning/early afternoon hangout only. I got an iced salted caramel latte to go, and I enjoyed it well enough. To me, I really didn't taste any salted caramel, but it was a good iced latte: rich, smooth, almost buttery, and not too bitter. Not as sweet as I'd like but that's often the case with what I consider more "serious" coffee places like this one. If you enjoy coffee, I think you'll like this coffee. It was certainly strong coffee, cause my husband said it was basically emanating off me when I got home. lol. Give them a try and don't forget to take a cute picture with their gorgeous mural! I'll likely return in the future.

This was today and maybe staff wasn't having a good day but service was extremely poor. We gave the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe the staff had been asked for the same item multiple times or something but when it was our turn they seemed so annoyed and like they couldn't be bothered at all. The inside of the place is beautiful though and the little booths seemed cozy. Maybe it was just one of those days and we got unlucky but I wouldn't make the trip again.

There was also a very unusual and unpleasant smell inside, a mix of coffee and what smelled like vape/smoke which made me decide not to dine in or try anything from the bakery, even though I originally wanted to. I ordered a pistachio latte with almond milk. Ordering and paying took maybe 30 seconds, but I waited about 30 minutes for my drink despite there being no line. When I finally received it, it had been made with regular milk instead of almond milk, so I had to wait again for it to be remade. From what I could see, there were about three employees working. During the entire time I sat waiting, no one came out to clean any of the dirty tables. I was literally sitting there looking at them the whole time. I normally don't leave negative reviews. If I simply don't like the food or drink, I usually move on and don't say anything. But in this case, the cleanliness, smell, long wait, and incorrect order made the overall experience disappointing enough that I felt it was worth mentioning. It's actually a really cool place with a unique interior and a lot of potential. I'm sharing this because I genuinely hope the owner sees the feedback and makes some improvements. Unfortunately, for me, this was a one-and-done experience.
