Wow!! That's all you really need other than to go here for gelato ASAP!! We went on an evening and while most stuff in the area was done for the night, this place had a line down the street. The line moved at a good pace and the gelato is the best I've had outside of Italy! Good selection of flavors and they were spot on! They also offer small bites and drinks. For seating it's mainly outside when we were there (still some Covid restrictions) but the inside is smaller. Outside they had a long table in the front and then chairs and small circle tables for 2-3 people along the sidewalk. The staff was friendly and you could tell they are passionate with what they do. Some of the best gelato flavors I have ever had, outside of Italy. Bacio (hazelnut and chocolate) was smooth and creamy. Stracciatella (vanilla with chocolate chips) has a prominent vanilla taste and the fine, irregular shavings of chocolate add bursts of chocolate with each lick. The fruit sorbets are great too, however some flavors they don't strain enough so you end up getting either fiber or seeds which can irritate my tongue. Therefore I don't recommend the berry or mango sorbet flavors here. A few blocks away is Rosa Canina, which is spectacular for sorbets. read more

After having Korean food in the neighborhood, I wanted to have some desserts. I found this highly rated gelato joint on yelp. When we arrived, there was a line out the door. There were a few Americans in front of us who told us that this was their second time here this trip. Expectations were set high! They are known for their award winning chocolate gelato. They have a lot of other flavors, all in German. Since the line was really long, I didn't bother to ask the server to explain to me in English what the flavors were. I asked for his favorite and he said it was the seasonal cookie flavor. I'm used to sampling all the flavors at my local Salt and Straw, but here they limit you to one sample. After, they charge you. Maybe it's a German thing? not diggin it. I chose the chocolate and the cookie. The cookie flavor was really tasteless. It also started melting soon after it was served. I was so disappointed. Luckily, the chocolate was on the bottom. This flavor was bombbb. The texture was creamy and flavor was rich. I don't know why but the chocolate didn't melt as quickly as the cookie. If you take one thing from this review, get the chocolate. You won't regret it! read more

Wonderful dark chocolate ice creams, super-rich, even the vegan one. Pistachio is also very good. The others are a mixed bag, often too creamy and not enough flavor. Hot chocolate is one of the better ones I've had in Berlin, mercifully thick and rich and without much milk, but way too sweet. Coffee is awful, as are the little square pizza slices. read more

It's a tiny little ice cream shop with really amazing flavors. They use real Madagascar vanilla beans (any of their vanilla ice cream happens to be my fave), and they have an assortment of chocolate including a vegan option! They do have some funky flavors like the one that tastes like chocolate tobacco (oddly pleasing) and sesame, cinnamon, incl. various sorbets. Fantastic gelato! Found on yelp whilst searching for somewhere to get dessert. In a quiet street in front of a small park well worth the small detour from neighbouring streets. I was craving gelato late at night, and walked 18 minutes to get to Cuore Di Vetro, the only nearby gelato store open past 8pm. The gelato was well worth the walk. The dark chocolate was creamy and rich, probably the best chocolate ice cream I've ever tasted. Even my friend, who swears by vanilla, had to admit that it was delicious. In addition to impeccable classics like chocolate and stracciatella, Cuore Di Vetro also boasts some unique creations, such as 8 1/2, a mint gelato made with fresh mint leaves -- a very different experience from your typical mint chocolate ice cream. I'm looking at my notes here, trying to put together a review and I find that they're pretty insufficient. I do however remember two things; the AMAZING coconut flavour, which is probably the best I've ever tasted. After the ice cream had melted in my mouth I had a mouthful of coconut sprinkles left, and that's how any coconut ice cream flavour should be made; with enough coconut sprinkles to make it seem that you took a handful and stuffed your mouth. :) 6/5. The second thing I remember is that they're making the ice cream right there in the front of the shop behind a glass wall, which was pretty cool to see. I also had the 'Spring' (I think the name was) flavour, which was something with himalaya salt, 3/5 and the 'Pischtazio' flavour, 3/5. read more

Very good ice cream- they have both traditional flavor and unusual ones. I got the cinnamon and my friend got their raspberry (assuming from the taste- neither of us speak German). My cinnamon was good but not great and the cone was absolutely delicious. My friend really liked the raspberry. The store was very cute and offered a variety of different things from ice cream, espresso, and even a meat and cheese plate. The people are friendly and the ice cream was relatively cheap. Would recommend, but not my absolute favorite. read more

This place is phenomenal. Me and my brother were touring here from Canada and I can say I have never had ice cream this good. I probably never will have ice cream this good again in my life. It's a full body experience how good it tastes. The staff is friendly and gives recommendations on what to get, but I honestly don't think this place could produce ice cream that doesn't taste good if they tried. 1000/5 stars.
