It is structured really well, big enough to carry a laptop, yet super light. Wandered into this lovely shop just before closing time in Siena, drawn in by the beautiful bags displayed in the front window. We ended up finding a bag unlike any others I have ever owed. My wife purchased a Cuoieria Fiorentina purse in Taormina while we were vacationing in Sicily. The purse is beautiful. However, literally within 4 or 5 days of use, very light use I should add, a major strap dislocated from the bag. Examination reveals that it was clearly improperly riveted. I immediately filed a report on the company's website and got a prompt email response asking for photos of the purse, which I then quickly supplied. Since then I have received no response from the company or the employee despite a number of requests to confirm receipt of the photos and what the company proposes to do to either repair or replace this expensive purse. This despite the claim on the company website that the company stands behind its products and warrants their workmanship and quality. A very frustrating, unpleasant process for a purse that is not usable. read more

I was traveling in Tuscany and saw their stores in numerous beautiful towns like San Gimignano, Sienna, Florence and a few more. After looking at their products at all the stores I bought numerous things for myself and as gifts. I bought a variety of things like wallets, shoes, belts for myself and several handbags for my mom, sister, and girl friend. The handbags I got for gifts got me a lot of browny points and a lot more compliments for the ladies. They all seem to love it. They keep telling me how every time they go out someone compliments them on their bags and ask them where they got it. I purchased handbags with floral pattern the that are fire printed/embossed (MIMI) which are very unique. The lady at the store told me that no other company makes that particular print. For the price I paid for 100% authentic Italian leather that is made in Italy, it was a steal. You can't even get a Michael Kors bag that is made in china for that price. You can definitely tell the difference between Italian products that are 100% made in Italy v overpriced Chinese products. The shoes I bought from CF are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I've had expensive shoes costing $200 to $400 before but the handmade Italian leather mocassins that I bought at CF are probably my favorite. Great quality and very comfortable. They just snug to your feet. I could wear them all day long. In fact, I look forward to occasions to wear them. Lots of compliments on my wallets and belts too. I like my belts a lot too. I went here during my trip to Italy and purchased a beautiful messenger bag. I had spent three days in Florence searching for the perfect one and I thought I had found it. I brought it back to the US and packed one notebook, some pens, and my cellphone for my first day of school. Before I had even reached the door, the snaps on either side of my messenger bag broke so the shoulder strap was detached from the bag. I was immediately heartbroken as I had tried it on in Italy without anything in it and it held up just fine. The minute I had added a few things, the snaps holding up the shoulder sling fell apart. Whoever designed the bag had the ridiuclous idea of putting in a tiny snap to attach the strap to the side of the bag ...it's a messenger bag where people will even put in a laptop. Now I have to search somehwere to replace the snaps with a buckle or another substitute that will securely keep the shoulder strap attached to the bag. The leather quality is great and it looks beautiful, but overall extremely disappointed I have not had one use of it and it is broken. Now i have to invest extra money and time to see if it is even possible to salvage the bag. *****EDIT 9/19/13***** I contacted the business through their website after to see if they could help me out. They said the best they could do was send me spare parts which I accepted. The spare parts never came and they never e-mailed me after apologizing for the manufacturing default. read more

Recently I have ordered a product from cuoieria fiorentina trough DHL, once the product arrived, I was noticed by DHL charging on the custom clearance fee, so I refused the package, and sent an email to cuoieria fiorentina about package will return to them and make a refund to me; then cuoieria fiorentina replied my email told me to pay DHL and I will get refund from them. So I asked DHL resend the package and paid the custom fee, but cuoieria fiorentina refused to pay me and stopped replying my email, until couple weeks ago they replied my email because I posted a review on youtube; they told me I will get refunded only I delete the review, shame on you people, trying to buy me out of this, I will not do as they wish.
