Just solid, comforting, "why is this so good?" energy. Also, unexpected bonus: Zero chewing drama. Zero regret. Maximum satisfaction. It was my first time in, I'm not impressed. The cashier, Crystal, didn't ring in my order correctly and I ended up having to go up to the register a second time and pay some additional money to get my order right. IMO, the prices are high. I ordered the LTO Walleye Sandwich, which was delicious, but geesh, I thought they were catching the fish in addition to frying it...the wait time was too long and the batter needed more flavor. I'm new to the Culver's world so I went with no real expectations other than I was hungry for a burger. A smash burger. Well, Culver's doesn't have a smash, they have a Butter Burger and I was ready to be disappointed. I was not disappointed, I loved it!! My whole experience was positive, friendly staff, clean restaurant, everything was great! Culver's is always a solid choice. Walked in close to closing time, but still received full service. The fries were too temperate. Asked for a fresh batch, which were better but for some reason they were just warm. Not sure what's going on there. Everything else was pretty good. They other best to keep the place neat. read more

It was a treat to try a new restaurant. Did not know what to expect because I was not familiar with this chain, but I found it to be noisy, busy, uncomfortably cool on a hot day, and it had all the characteristics of eating at McDonald's. You stand up at a counter and order after looking at an illuminated plastic menu system, then they will bring the food to your table. In the meantime, you may go fill your drinks from the dispenser, stopping along the way to pick up your utensils, salt and pepper, and napkins. I wanted fish and chips: their response is two fairly large pieces of batter dipped cod deep fried, a plastic container of coleslaw, a small roll, a small pat of butter, a pile of french fries, and my choice of tea or soft drink. I guess I can't eat as much as I used to: one piece of that cod would have been sufficient but there was no opportunity to choose a smaller quantity. Accidentally chose sweet tea, that was a surprise. I originally thought (my mistake) that Culver's was going to be an ice cream parlor; oh well, no such luck. The cod was hot and crispy, and my wife's fried shrimp were hot and crunchy. However, our french fries were lukewarm. I guess this review is not sounding too enthusiastic, I may wait a little while before I return to Culver's. Perhaps next time I will try one of their classic hamburgers. read more

It's fast food and not bad. The restaurant environment is definitely fast food though food is brought to your table after you order and pay for it at the register. The staff there have consistently been nice. I've been a bit disappointed by the frozen custard - had hoped it would be better. The flavor of the day is a nice draw. Was impressed with their gluten free options. When ordering I asked what menus items were gluten free. I was handed a brochure that listed every item they had on their menu that was gluten free. I did order the chicken cashew salad but was told it was out of stock. So I opted for the cranberry bacon chicken salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff was friendly. Nice area to sit outside. This is one of the worst Culver's ever. We stopped going there after a horrible experience, that we reported to corporate and the local management promised to make it right and never did what was promised. They are simply so busy everyday that they can treat customers anyway they want and get away with it. We don't and won't return to any Culver's because they don't do right by the customers. First time ordering on line was a mistake, got there and they hadn't received the order. Took 45 minutes to get it straightened out and get the food. When the burgers came they were way overcooked and charred. Portions have gotten smaller for the money. Too bad, I used to like this place. read more

As I have come to expect, the food was good flavored, served promptly, but was barely warm. I think the issue is that the restaurant, like many in the area, has the AC set for the kitchen which over cools the seating area. I understand the need to keep the kitchen comfortable for the hard working folks there, but they should have a separate zone for the seating area. I think this will be my last visit for a while, because the prices are too high for the amount of food included. This place just can't get it together. We try this place about once a year since they opened- and every time, our order has been incorrect. Single instead of a double, fries instead of onion rings or a scoop instead of a concrete mixer. Today service was especially unfriendly and the burger seemed much thinner, ice cream again incorrect. Husband and I frequent this Culver's and love it. Just in last Sunday evening at 7:30 and food was great. But please have a staff member keep check on the drink,napkin, ketchup area. I placed my order via the app. When I arrived at the restaurant, I parked in the assigned space. The page on my phone no longer had the "I'm Here" option & there was no way to get it back. I was going to go through the drive-thru lane but it was backed up so I went inside. The line inside was also long. When I was finally able to speak with an employee she was very Indignant & reluctantly helped me. In addition to the Value Basket, I ordered a medium milk shake. They made a small shake. They poured the small shake into a medium cup & added custard. There isn't an option to take advantage of your coupons. my complaint is regarding the poor attitude of female magr I spoke to on 4/3 at 3:00 regarding the 3/4 full pints of custard. this issue has been happening for few month. I had pictures of many pints that were not fully packed. she said that's how they always do it. she said even if you buy ice cream in any grocery store the containers are never full. when she approached me she never introduced herself. not a "hi" or "what can I help with". . sad for the owner of this shop to have her as a management representative. a customer lost over such an easy fix. read more

Had the pot roast very good first time for me fries are horrible never cooked fully thru not the fist time for this. The reason for my 2 star rating was the temperature inside of the restaurant, had to be like 69* . Told the girl when she brought our food to bag it and we left. So Culvers is from Wisconsin they are known for the butter burgers , frozen custard, and cheese curds my Dad and Uncle swear by this place. This is my first visit to Culvers and I've never even heard of Culvers. Culvers looks more like a sit down restaurant than a fast food franchise. I needed help ordering, the menu was big and overwhelming...pot roast , pork tenderloin, cod, salads , chicken , sundaes and oh yeah butter burgers ( I took a pic of menu). My Dad got me a value basket which included butter burger, crinkle cut fries and soft drink. The double burger rocked, I got to pick my cheese ....American, Swiss, or cheddar. I ordered a single scoop strawberry sundae. They tried to give it to me but I wouldn't accept it because the strawberries (no syrup) were sitting on top of the ice cream and had ICE CRYSTALS on them. They were FROZEN! I think not. I told them instead to give me a hot fudge sundae. When the hot fudge sundae came out it had maybe two tablespoons of hot fudge. Did you know if you pre-pay a curbside pickup and they screw up your order you can't get a refund? You have to drive there and back for your missed food. Or they say the'll send you a coupon for a free something? BS, I'm not driving there and back for my salad. I will never go back again and will tell all my friends. Culvers started in WI where they would bend over for backwards for the customer. In Florida it's not the case. Will NEVER go back there. Just another large corporation that screws customers. read more
