Before I went to the gym tonight. I begged my wife afterwards I wanted Culvers. I thought about the last 3 hours. So we hit the drive thru after the gym. I'm starving. Got a couple of burgers, fries and some curds. Yes!! Drove home ready to dig in. My burger is missing! Not there. I was so pissed. Called them right away and talked with Arthur (Nice Guy). He told me they realized the mistake and will send me out a coupon for Value Basket. I was like fine. Nothing I can do now. I'm home cozy it's 27 degrees outside. I'm done. Gotta tell you I'm pretty frosty about this. The more I thought about all while eating Tuna out of Can(Because you know No burger!) This sucks. I think a coupon for a value Basket was a little cheap. Have been coming here an average of once a week for several years. Yesterday, March 28, 2023 was a total disaster and failure on their part. Ordered the pot roast dinner. The meat was extremely salty, the mashed potatoes did not have any taste (an instant brand would have been better), cole slaw just not cut properly. Even the root beer (diet) was flat, no fizz as normal. The only good thing about the meal was the slice of bread under the meat: at least that was tasty. To make matters worse, two (2) separate groups were in there (place was near deserted otherwise) with individuals not behaving. One had a young child climbing over booths, etc. with parents who did not care. Other had a young girl/woman who obviously had some 'issues' who did not sit down, would take a bite of food standing up and then fast walk all over the restaurant and then back again. When a server came up to me and asked how was everything, I told him all of the aforementioned. Instead of saying what could he do to right the ship, he just said sorry and walked away. It is what you do after you screw up that defines you. Culver's just totally failed on all accounts. Will give it one more try in next few weeks and then if same continues, adios. read more

First time giving this place a try, very happy. Staff is friendly and love that they bring the food right to you weather you are taking put or eating there. The spicy chicken strips are great, I've been missing the spicy nuggets ever since Wendy's discontinued them and no other fast food restaurant that carried a similar product compared, but there were just as good as I remember, maybe even better. I had a worse experience with Culver's 610 skokie IL 847-983-8860 Resturant . After the very first order didn't go back and will never. I will spread more words in friends and family. Very bad service with lack of professionalism. I seen another review about how how their employees did want to be at work and that's true. First of all I had a hardest time to place an order. When I got there after a given waiting time period. Turned out to be that, they didn't take my order carefully and instead of three fish burgers they got ready only two. I had to wait for another 20 minutes. While I was waiting none of the employees said sorry to me for not getting a right order. I came home and the fish inside in all the sandwich was not fully cooked. It was such an bad experience I had. For a fast food place this is a fun place to go to with the family and friends. It has a Dairy Queen type of vibe to it but is really more than that with its own unique menu and instead of ice cream it is frozen custard with many flavors to choose from. The place is kept very clean with service people constantly walking about making sure the tables are cleared and cleaned after customers leave. The cashiers are very friendly and seem to enjoy what they are doing which is not easy to find in most franchises you walk into. They are very accommodating and of course the most important part, the food actually tastes good! The decor is a bit random with various cheap looking Chicago area sports pictures and posters and the similar filling up various spaces on the walls. I don't know if the place looks better or not with them on the wall or otherwise. Seemed like it wasn't needed to me and again just randomly thrown on there. But no one is coming here to look at the walls and nothing wrong with supporting the local teams. I would say the one annoying aspect is that friendly staff can be a bit annoying at times. We had a few of the help staff come up to our table more then once to yak it up with the kids and make jokes and comments. I mean once is alright as they are being friendly but every single time we go here it seems to be a constant interruption as we are eating. We just want to eat not have joke night here and have to entertain the clean up staff of the restaurant. But that's really the only minor complaint I have of my experiences here. The custard is good (not the greatest ever, but good), they really cater to the kids with the kids meals and dessert options which is nice and you get a good bang for your buck here. I am glad they opened this one up in the area. Next time you are in the mood for a burger, some onion rings and a custard shake, well head on over here. It will fill that hunger fast and have you wanting to come back for more. If only more fast food places were run like this. read more

First time to a Culver's and I must say I really enjoyed it so much! The staff was friendly, Jason, our cashier was extremely friendly and helpful! He came and picked up out tray after we were done and wished us to have a great day! He's what great customer service looks like! I went through drive-thru for a scoop of chocolate custard with strawberries on top. Very good, creamy custard and delicious strawberries. I was delightfully impressed! Anyway,, To go back a day or so there has been a lot of talk about the new Popeyes fish sandwich People were saying Culver's fish sandwich is better. Since I never had the Culver's fish sandwich, I decided to give it a try. The fish obviously was put into the fryer when the oil was not the at optimum temperature so it was sort of cooked but the worst part was the amount of oil that I squeezed off of the sandwich into my sandwich container was startling. Now if they're training new people they should take better care to make sure the product comes out presentable. If they are not training new people and they are just hurrying the product through, well then they have a real problem on their hands. With this location they are about 50 50 as far as quality of product leaving their establishment. Hopefully they can get it together. The food is ALWAYS good. The orders are ALWAYS correct. The service is ALWAYS accommodating and friendly. From going to a different location, I thought I just didn't like Culver's burgers. We decided to try this location since it was so close to home and we have been going here ever since! It is my husband's favorite fast food spot. The drive thru is laid out very well and there are plenty of places to wait for your food, but I've never waited more than 5-8minutes, even with a dinner rush!! 100% satisfaction every time :) read more

I haven't had Culver's in forever. Came in today to try it out after a day of shopping. This Culver's is really nice! The cashiers and servers are friendly and actually seem happy to be here. I ordered a single with bacon basket with a side of cheese curds and my bf got a single and fries basket, we also ordered some chicken strips. The burgers were great and the chicken strips were succulent and not dry like most fast food places. Cheese curds were yummy they were a mix of cheddar and white cheeses along with ranch dipping sauce. Yum! I always hear people rave about Culver's Custard So we decided to take 4 pints home because I'm the worst at choosing especially when it comes to narrowing down flavor choices. So we got chocolate, a Reese's cup flavor, chocolate chip cheesecake and butter brickle. They were all gross. Out of the 4 I only liked one and that was the chocolate. It tasted like a thicker and creamier version of wendys chocolate frosty. Everything else tasted like sticks of butter maybe just the batches I got were off. I dunno but I'm skipping the pints next time. I may consider the concrete. Nonetheless yummy fast food. read more

Being From a small town and having a Culver's within every 20 miles or so I took it for granted when I moved the the city a few years back. They do have some in the suburbs but way too far of a drive for a meal. Anyways I tried this one out the other day. And the food was on par but the customer service was not as good as it is in the rural areas, whether it be forgetting your sauces or missing something in your order. Go soon for the limited-time Northwoods Walleye fish because it is just that good. It's served up piping hot, which makes it better. Get the dinner, though, otherwise it's way too much bread and not enough fish.The largest size is best because you always can take some home. The servers are well-trained and mannerly. In fact, they improve the experience so vastly, that you should go for that experience and figure you'll find something that you like on the menu. As far as the menu goes, it's very, very retro, like food your great-grandfather ate, but it's a little too yesteryear for today's tastes. The bread really needs improvement, and the vanilla custard and the hot fudge both needed vanilla. Cooking green beans to the still-crisp stage then serving them in the water in which they were cooked swimming in butter is confusing. But go anyway. It's nice and clean and the people who bring you your food are so nice, they alone make it worth the visit. And the food is really, really hot which is always wonderful. You won't find that at McDonald's, even if their hot fudge sundae is better. Plus, the Walleye is really outstanding. read more

We stopped for dinner at this Culver's as we had been invited by friends who are active in Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF). This Culver's opened about six weeks ago and was off and running with a partnership with JDRF. We ordered a cheddar butterburger, a crispy chicken sandwich, Wisconsin cheese curds, onion rings and two concrete mixers. The staff at the counter was friendly and efficient. The families that were participating with the fundraiser acted as waitstaff and they were all very friendly and personable. This Culver's has a drive-thru and plenty of parking in a large mall parking lot. Interestingly, this particular Culver's is not clearly visible from Skokie Blvd., but if you drive through the mall lot towards Gross Point Rd., you'll find it quickly. Very disappointing. Ordered a cheeseburger . It was just a thin grease soaked crunchy piece of I don't know what covered with a slice of cold cheese. Yuck! I could see it clogging my arteries. I love the food here. There is such a variety and I haven't been dissatisfied in the food. One thing I have noticed while dining inside is I don't like the "hovering". Management needs to ask their cleaning staff not to visually inspect every table whenever they pass by. At least not make it so obvious. Its especially noticeable when dining alone. One of the best Culver's I have been to! The place is very clean; the staff was cleaning with a nice vacuum while we were there. This place has lots of cool gear. The staff are very friendly and humorous. The manager was very hardworking and delivered food outside in the freezing rain. She also gave us free food because a customer had never picked it up. An employee later offered us free ice cream samples. When we entered they greeted us and opened the door. When we left, the manager said bye. They came to our table to make sure the food was good. read more

Between the choice of McDonalds and this place, Culver's is far better. Good American food for a low price. The only thing I would say about it is that there is air conditioners above the booths that drip water. But besides that, the food is good, would recommend the cheese burger, along with the fries and cheese balls. read more

Culver's is not located in the state where I live so I only get the opportunity to eat there when I come here to Chicago. I have only eaten there a couple of times but each time the food was good and the staff was excellent. The young man who helped me was very nice and professional. The manager was attentive and seemed to be kind to his employees as well as customers. I enjoyed the soup and the sourdough burger that I ordered. Yes, I know it's fast food but it's consistently good fast food! Been eating there weekly during Lent, fish is fresh and delicious. Chicken tenders are outstanding, burgers are always a good choice.
