Pretty darned good to me. Had a double butter burger with Swiss Cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, mayo and ketchup. Might've added bacon too. Side was a Cole slaw and nibbed around 6 fried cheese curds from my friend's order when was looking the other direction (shhhh: twas delish like a wish). The butter buns? Fluffier than the clouds in heaven. Mmm ummm ummm I enjoyed the food. Add to that the warm hospitable service? Cannot get much better done good than that. While in KY for a National Cross Country race, decided to stop by. Ive had Culver's before in Phoenix and it was amazing. Well this KY visit fell short. My daughter ordered 2 sourdough melts value baskets, with separate sides. We only received one of the 2 baskets because apparently that's all the cashier rang us up for. Let's discuss the food, cheese curds were delish and hot, fries ok, but the burger was horrible, not hot and not a lick of salt or seasoning on it. I ordered curbside pickup for only two custards. When I arrived I notified them by saying " i'm here" in the app, in my text messages, and on my email and still waited 40 minutes. Terrible customer service. Ordered my food and I watched it get brought to the wrong table. Continued to wait for my order but it never came. Had to go speak with the employees about getting my order fixed. My kid had a kids meal and ordered his free ice cream, but once again it never came. The ice cream was brought to another table with the same number tent, but different color. There should not be two colors of tents. Culver's ... I think people either love them or they don't. I'm not a lover but occasionally I say yes to my husband who is. They're known for their burgers although my crew indulged a bit in the chicken sandwich and tenders as well. The chicken is average - it's not Popeyes or anything with flavor or thickness. If folks don't visit for the food, they come for the ice cream and shakes. I did appreciate the team brings orders to the table once you order at the counter. This location is near the Bluegrass Shoppes. Seating is available on the patio as well as indoors. The inside is so ... dirty. Where the floor didn't have crumbs, the table did. I wiped down and sanitized ours before we got our food. Overall it isn't a relaxing spot and encourages you to leave as soon as the last bite is taken. Kids meals are a good price. Grab your included ice cream scoop after the meal or save the coupon on your bag. A few add up to a free kids meal. Pints of ice cream can be purchased to take home. read more

This was my first time to try a Culver's Burger. I was not that impressed. I didn't think the menu was very clear. I just wanted to try a regular cheese hamburger which is what I ordered, but then I was asked if I wanted the Deluxe. When I asked what that was I was told it was all the fixings, lettuce, onion, pickle. So I said ok. When I got my burger, the cheese was not melted and the burger seemed cold. I figured the fixings affected the temp. The other thing I noticed was the burger was so thin I could hardly taste it. I was very disappointed. The wait staff was very friendly but, as a first time customer that had trouble with the menu they did not try to be very helpful. The good- tasty burgers, crispy fries, fast and friendly service. The bad- we are 2 weeks past a winter storm and the parking still remains covered in snow and ice with patches that are quite slick. This is a dangerous hazard to potential customers. The surrounding restaurants and parking lots have been completely plowed and are clear. read more

The only time I go here is when I'm out at the outlet malls. It's a step up from McDonalds and way better than any food offerings at the mall. The burgers are meh, not horrible, just not great. They're those tiny smashed patties that just don't do it for me personally. The crinkle cut fries are pretty good, and I like the cheese curds. The star of the show is definitely their concretes. Always pretty good and they have a lot of different flavors. Service is kind of slow, so if you're in a hurry I'd skip. The inside always seems like it needs a good cleaning. There's never trash or anything on the ground it just seems a bit off--they seem to be consistently out of lids, cups, something. The Manager was very mean and rude for no reason at all. The way the managers are treating the younger workers is very poor and disappointing as well. A little slice of midwestern heaven! I think this place is one starred so heavily as so many of you are used to Culver's, their excellent food and the bring the food to your table service. But if you're from the East Coast, you'll going to find this amazing levels of service, food quality and like you're in a food Disney land. The wife got a sourdough burger. Cooked to perfection! She is rarely excited about fast food, but this was a two thumbs up experience. I tried the cheese curds and pretzels... oh how I wish the nearest Culver's wasn't two states away to the West. Man, I keep coming back and every time I'm kiiinda disappointed. My strawberry sundaes always... ALWAYS are lacking in the strawberry department. Tonight there were strawberries- but no juice. What's a SS with no delicious sugary strawberry syrup?! I sent my kiddo in and they did give me a cup with more... so at least it was remedied. I love Culver's and it is a treat I have occasionally. As seen on receipt I ordered my burger with mayo, ketchup, and mustard. What it came with was lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions. While it would be ok with most my stomach can not digest raw vegetables of any kind and it actually more cost efficient for restaurants to fix as I need it. Great service, friendly staff. Driving through. They even made a special burger for my 4 legged friend. They make everything fresh as you order it so it's not as fast as some places but it was so good. We ordered a sourdough, a double and a very well cooked single no bun, no salt, with cheese for the beast. Umm, guys... Culver's is really good. Tasty butter burgers, with quality toppings. Fried cheese, frozen custard and fries with cheese sauce... what's not to like. So we ordered a kids meal and they gave us the frozen custard in a cup when we got to the window I asked them to put it in a cone and they crammed it into the cone and the whole side of the cone was split wide-open and basically he just said sorry about the mess and there's not much more he can do at this point with a messy con and so he then he gave us a dish to put it in but what a pitiful way to present the con it wasn't even manageable because the custard we were forced to put it into a cup. Walked in store at 7:00 pm on a Tuesday. There seemed to be a lot of confusion with the employees. Not sure exactly what was going on. Brushed it off and some kid took my order. While I waited went to restroom to wash hands. Paper towels were in the floor. There was no soap, and no paper towels in either dispenser . Annoyed I came out with wet hands and had to use shirt to dry them. Went to condiment station to get ketchup. No ketchup in either dispenser. This place is obviously not managed well. While headed back home from Louisville, my family stopped on Simpsonville for dinner. Culver's was sitting right off Exit 28. When we arrived, there was a few people inside but we're enough tables for my family to be seated. This restaurant implements the 6 feet & mask rule during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The service and food was great. Most of us tried the Double Butter Burger w/ Cheese and it was very delicious. We also enjoyed the onion rings, they were too greasy and had a great crunch to it. I know prior reviews had rated this place poorly based on health department scores without even stepping foot inside the place, much less, trying out the service/food. Well a lot has changed since then. My guess is probably under new management. The current health department score is also much improved to 97%. We gave it a whirl since it is right next to the Outlets of the Bluegrass and the kids were "hangry". I can't complain at all. We had a wonderful experience here filled with friendly service and good food at a reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to try them again if we are in the area and have another "hangry" episode that begs us to pull off the road and eat! read more

We had to meet folks to drop off paperwork in the parking lot here at Culver's. After we met up we decided to go through the drive thru and get a burger. We have never been to this Culver's before but have eaten in numerous other locations. Hard to believe but I have never ordered a burger before. I almost always eat the chicken cashew salad which is excellent.. But since we were eating in the car (covid surge) I opted for the burger and fries. I'll start with the fries, they were excellent, hot and crispy, but service was slow in the drive thru and the burger was very disappointing. It was just bland is the best way to describe it. Bun was dry, not enough condiments (mayo and pickles) and the burger just didn't have much flavor. We did go back through the drive thru after our meal and ordered a toffee concrete mixer and it was excellent. All in all the place was OK, I just won't every order the burger again. Absolute disaster. Stay away from this Culver's. Took three times to get our order correct, plus food came out cold. No ice for drinks, no lids, and machine was very dirty. Multiple people at the counter complaining they did not get correct food. No manager could be found. Men's restroom was long overdue for a cleaning and stocking. We are regular customers at Culver's when we travel, and this location should have the Culver's sign taken down. They do not represent what Culver's is about.
