I was pleasantly surprised!. Decided to go to Culver's on a whim yesterday. Dined inside. We were greeted as we walked through the door and our order was taken efficiently. Waited less than 5 minutes for our food. What we noticed while eating was what got us. They had three employees just cleaning the dining room area. These staffers were nice and friendly to people but very efficient and did not half ass their job. This should not be something that amazed us, but unfortunately it has become the norm to sit down at a dirty, sticky table. You constantky see garbage or food on the floor at a fast food restaurant but not here. These employees were cleaning up the tables, wiping down the chairs, with a different cloth! I watched as they picked up items off the floor then swept as well. They did not stand around waiting for someone to get up, they kept themselves constantly cleaning up around the door, drink stations, or garbage cans. Absolutely the slowest restaurant service I've ever had in my entire life. I waited to give this review because I didn't want to knock a business for one bad experience. The past four times we've been to this restaurant in 2022 has been completely awful. Three of those times we waited in the drive through for more than 15 minutes just to order! Then we waited an additional 15-20 minutes pulled up. Yesterday was one such occasion. We shopped at the Outlets nearby for three hours and decided to grab a couple of cups of custard afterwards. Since the drive through has historically been slow as Christmas, my companion decided to go inside to order. I'm not even kidding, he was inside that store for 25 minutes. He said it took 10 minutes just to get his order taken and the rest of that time he waited for TWO CUPS of custard. That's it. He said they made sure they cleared our drive through orders before focusing on dining room orders. I can't win at this location. Food and custard is always great, service is the worst I've ever experienced in my life. Period. Do not go here if you're in a hurry. We arrived at around 6pm and didn't leave the parking lot with our order until 6:30. For reference, a Culver's employee was in the parking lot with a dead battery yesterday (7-30-2022) and needed a jumpstart. I offered for my companion to help her when he got back out of the store with our order, but he waited so long on our order that another Culver's employee was able to get her black jeep jumped and good to go! Me and my husband came here after a long 8.5 hour drive since we were staying at the Hilton inn right across. We were skeptical at first to come here because of the reviews, but let me just say none of them seemed very accurate from when we went. We had placed an order and with it being our first time we didn't really know the menu so the lady that took our order was really patient.My husband ordered a four piece value basket meal and I ordered the mushroom and Swiss value basket meal. When we got to the window, we asked if they had a different sized tender meal since we weren't from around so we didn't know if they had more than a four piece and they said they had a four and eight piece available. The lady was kind and didn't get upset when we asked to have it switched to an eight piece. We paid and they asked for us to pull forward. We maybe waited for five minutes for our food, even after changing the order and the food came out. It was hot, drove back to the hotel to eat and everything was really good. read more

We were wanting to grab something quick on our way to the airport. As we were about to enter the store, we noticed the health department score of 88%. Many of the issues were sanitation issues. Dirty utensils, dirty restrooms...We just NOPED the heck out of there. It's not worth getting food poisoning from cross contamination. Hopefully this will be fixed by the time the HD inspects again, but it really turned me off from wanting to eat here again. read more

Went to Culver's last month and again today because I believe in giving the benefit of the doubt especially in these crazy times. Last month I drove through in the evening around 8. There were three cars in the drive post order thru waiting in parking spots. I was the only car at the speaker. I ordered one small cement mixer and was told to pull up and wait in a parking spot. I waited 22 minutes for my single cement mixer and it was basically a melted mess when they delivered it. Today I went back at 11:15 a.m. for lunch it was not ultra busy at all. There were four tables in the dining room and 1 car in the drive thru. We went in and placed our placed our order. The root beer tasted weak, the ketchup dispenser was not filled. I asked for ketchup from the person who delivered the food. It never came. I went to the counter to ask for it and was ignored by 4 people, including the woman I know was the manager. When I finally was acknowledged they gave me two small packages of ketchup. I politely asked for more. She was put out and gave me three. I thanked her kindly. In the mean time there were three employees standing at the empty ketchup dispense deciding who or how they were going to fill it. It has been 25 minutes and the ketchup dispenser is sitting open unfilled on the counter. Now a bus arrived and they will get busy. Better get on that ketchup dispenser. I was very disappointed. Not sure if or when I will be back. Dairy Queen down the road is my new friend. read more

This place was an absolute mess. Waited almost 30 minutes to get our food only to find out that they forgot part of it and were also out of ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and tomato. None of this was told to us when we placed our order for DELUXE butter burgers. My husband went inside to get the missing items from our order and was greeted with multiple employees just standing around despite there being 5 other cars besides ours waiting for their orders. The counter tops were nasty, the staff had zero personality, and to top it off, my burger was pink on the inside. DO NOT go to this Culver's.. it's below sub-par to say the least. read more

Where do I even start! We walked into the restaurant to the manager yelling at employees, you could feel the hostility. As we are waiting in line to order, people we're coming up and complaining about their food. Since it was late and we thought we will take our chance. The manager took our order and got it wrong 3 times as she said it back to us. When we got the food BIG SURPRISE it was wrong but oh well, it tasted good. As we are eating though we noticed one employee cleaning off tables and crying. The manager yelled at the employees the entire time we were there. I've lived in Kentucky for over 2 years, but somehow hadn't tried Culver's yet?! After running to the outlets to exchange a pair of shoes, my husband were wanting a snack and had been wanting to try Culver's for a while. He ordered the pumpkin milkshake, I ordered a cookie dough concrete mixer, and we shared an order of cheese curds. I was blown away by how good the milkshake and concrete mixer were, and the cheese curds were delicious. This could definitely rank up there as one of the best fast food chains! I must be a Wisconsin girl, since I love me some Culver's. So I was super excited to come across one on my way through Kentucky. As I described it to my friend, it's the Chick-fil-A of the north, but with burgers. And this location did not disappoint! It is super new and nice. I chatted with the cashier about how surprised I was to find Culver's in Kentucky, and he told me about other locations in the state. He made sure to ask me what I wanted on my burger and put it in as plain (since I don't want all the trimmings). Since they make it fresh, it took a few minutes to come out, but it was exactly what I ordered and both burger and onion rings were hot and delicious. The whole restaurant was clean, as were the restrooms. All in all, this was a great lunch stop, and tasted like a little piece of home. Yes, it's "fast food," but it's definitely a notch above McDonald's (where my mother never allowed me to eat). Yum! read more

Was given a number and they said they would bring my food out. The food never came and I went up to the counter. My food was just sitting there. I asked where my food was and they said they were out of my dressing. They didn't offer any dressing even close so I had to get my money back and leave. What a colossal waste of time. Visited Culver's in the evening. Approximately 8:00pm. Not impressed with this location! All the tables were dirty, and when a customer brought this to the attention of an employee, she told who appeared to be the manager. This manager basically told her employee she didn't have time. The place was not busy and very few of us were dining in. It's a shame because I have visited Culver's in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota, those locations were awesome! read more

My team and I came to Culver's for dinner as we are staying at the Hampton Hotel near the restaurant and decided to eat there. There was no ice in the machines for drinks which was disrespectful. We later went to a booth and there was food and sticky residue left on the table and seats. The food was disgusting. One of my team members burger had cold cheese, mushy onions, and the chicken tenders tasted over-salted. I was hoping today would be better than my experience was a few years ago, Unfortunately it was worse I tried to come to this culvers location about a week ago and after waiting in line for over 30 minutes I ended up leaving before I was even able to pay for my meal. The person who waited on me tonight was very rude and seemed annoyed. Again tonight, I waited for another 30 minutes. Once I got my food everything was kind of cold, even after waiting for 30 minutes. I had asked for a burger with bacon, lettuce, pickle, ketchup, mustard, and tomato, but sadly all it had was bacon and lettuce. Before I received my order I was asked to pull forward, and when the employee came out to my car to bring my food to me they handed it to me through the window, I said thank you, they said nothing and walked away. This place is very close to where I work so it is very disappointing that I won't be eating here anymore. Culvers won't be getting any more business from me or my family. read more

After waiting 40 minutes for lunch & ice-cream (1:55-2:35pm not even lunch time) and only receiving the burgers, I kindly asked for a refund for the ice-cream. As it was processing, the cashier called over and snidely said, "We don't need #53 anymore" to which the gal held up my daughter's ice-cream and in our faces and threw it in the trash. Love this place! The staff are always wonderful and cheery. The restaurant is very clean- including the bathrooms. The frozen custard is very rich. I always get a mini. Their burgers are really good too. It's a great place to stop in on a road trip while on 64 or when you stop by the Simpsonville mall. read more

This was my first visit to any Culver's and I was incredibly impressed. They were relatively busy when we arrived so we expected to have to wait. We went in and were greeted right away. So I was in here today at lunch time and it was hands down my worst experience in a Culver's I usually really enjoy the amazing burgers, I just moved to this area and I was very disappointed with everything. But I'll start from the beginning, the cashier boy was rude and unpleasant didn't make eye contact once kept trying to finish what I wanted to order before I even finished saying what I wanted, then after paying I wait for my food for over 35 min, they came and gave me my shake and ice cream first and by the time I got my food my ice cream was melting, i was so over waiting I take my food and go to my car, when I looked in the bags my food was all wrong, my sandwiches were not right at all and I was missing a fry, any other day I would've gone home and just called it a day but I was buying food for my family and it made me very angry that I waited so long and it was all ruined. I have worked at many restaurants and all I have to say is this place needs better management, the older blonde lady running the food out of the window had at least 4 ppl around her doing nothing which really slowed her progress of getting food out to the customers. read more
