Opened 3 days ago. Had the sliced prime rib sandwich combo. Meat was tender and tasty. Fries were perfectly cooked to a crunchy, golden brown. My daughter had the cheese curds, and said they were delicious. Frozen custard is creamy and flavorful. Best I have had in many years. Staff is friendly, courteous, well-trained, and eager-to-please. Love Culver's. Their food is great and the ice cream is amazing. Usually everyone here is very polite and takes their time to make you feel like a valued customer. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that there is a new a guy who is kind of creepy. He is an older man with classes who I assume may be a manager. He isn't friendly and we try to avoid him if we do go for lunch or dinner. Other than that I would highly recommend. read more

I was heading back to Miami from Saint augustine and wanted something good, quick and healthy. I have never had a great decent beef meal at a fast food restaurant. The pot roast sandwiches tasted like it was home cooked. I am impressed. I felt like I was eating a home cooked meal, what a treat. I loved this place. Too bad we don't have one in Miami. See you soon!!! I did order a junior burger and asked for no butter twice, they still forgot and it still had butter. They need to have a better system than just shouting no butter on the burger. The Culvers in Daytona was very clean and pleasant. Service staff were friendly and accommodating. Restrooms were also clean and furnished much better than McDs. Their soda selection included a sugar-free lemonade that was delicious along with numerous other great choices. Sadly the positive ends their. After reading the rave reviews, I expected a better burger. The bun, hamburger, and mushrooms were extraordinarily thin. The burger had a high fat content and grease oozed out of it when I bit into it. But if you like tasty, greasy burgers, this is the one. My husband and I had side salads. They gave me the wrong dressing when they delivered the order, and when I went to exchange it, I had to wait for 3 people to place complicated orders before I could make the trade. The iceberg lettuce had seen better days and the slice of cucumber and 2 little tomatoes were "past due." I would go for just the frozen custard again, but I'd surely skip the 760 calorie double cheese burger widow-maker. read more

Heard so much about this place since it opened up a month ago, so, had to go. Been there three times! BEST freaking burger ever!! They supposedly use butter while cooking them, well, I love butter, so it's like I'm addicted to them. I'm hooked!!! For an OUT-FREAKING-STANDING burger and the most delicious strawberry shake, it was like $10. The staff there is comprised of VERY respectful older teenagers. Wow, that's a nice change! The restrooms are clean and always have fresh cut flowers inside, even the men's room. Try this place, you'll NEVER go to any burger place, even those that 'specialize' in them. The food is always good and the frozen custard is so yummy but I must share this recent incident where i ordered a quart of the flavor of the day only to arrive home and have a quart of plain old vanilla. I called the store and informed the manager of what happened. After a very polite apology I was told I would receive a coupon in the mail for a replacement so I provided my name and address, Totally thinking i would never receive this coupon, I went to my mailbox and there was a hand written addressed envelope with the promised coupon and a lovely letter. Culvers is a great concept with great food. Their burgers are superb and better than Steak and Shake. Cheese curds are something to try too - yummy. Very clean establishment. The only knock is they have a staff that is comprised of mainly high schoolers and this is their first job. A constant turnover of help takes place (even among management) The kids get confused and portray the "deer in the headlights look" at times. They mess up many orders but the management realizes this and makes good on the errors. read more

Awesome job Culver's- so we are treating our daughter like she has a tree nut allergy until we officially get her tested due to a recent scare with cashews and we love getting ice cream from here. I'm originally from Chicago and when road tripping up to Southeastern Wisconsin, Culvers was always a great treat. So since Culvers landed here in our backyard of Port Orange, this was certainly a nice feeling of being back up there. Their signature is the Butter Burger, which is one of the most tasty burgers, but my absolute favorite here is their Battered Cod Fish Dinner. If you're looking for something different, try it! Other favs here are the fried cheese curds, green beans side, their own recipe root beer, and their frozen custard. Just the vanilla custard alone is rich, creamy, and great by itself. read more
