This location does NOT live up to the standard Culver's usually sets. If you want ice cream, go to the Dairy Queen on Gay Drive - we've never been let down there. We've had issues with this location before but we were excited about the FOD (caramel fudge cookie dough) so we were willing to give it another chance. The dishes came out with almost no toppings, and when I went back in to have them remade with a reasonable amount they remade them exactly the same. Previous visits have yielded melted ice cream, cold food, slow service, missing items, and sometimes all of the above. I have NEVER left this location with complete satisfaction. I seldom write negative reviews, and usually chalk up bad service to someone having an "off" day. However, I went into the Neenah Culvers on Sunday and was shocked by the way that I was treated. The girl at the register and I had a miscommunication in what I wanted, no big deal, these things happen. My mother and I sat down and my mom needed to use the restroom. My mom is 87 so I followed her up to the front of the store and waited outside the bathroom. While waiting, I overheard the girl telling her co worker about this "old Lady" who yelled at her (never happened) and started imitating me in this horrible voice. Of course her version of what happened was completely skewed, and when I came around the corner in front of her she still had her face screwed up imitating me. There were multiple people standing right there waiting for their food and watching her. I asked to speak to whoever was in charge and she proceeded to tell the young man how I yelled and screamed at her. (He had actually been standing at the bin when I ordered, and clearly had not seen or heard anything.) He listened but did absolutely nothing but shake his head. No refund, coupons or apology. Neenah has a nice selection of restaurants that offer good food and service, unfortunately this isn't one of them. read more

Terrible. Every single time I come here I wait 20 minutes or more. The food is good but the service is absolutely atrocious. I've ordered ahead, ordered at the window, gone inside, it doesn't matter. You will wait longer than going to a sit down restaurant where the chef goes to the farmers market and then comes back, thinks about what they want to make, preps it, messes up, makes it again, and finally brings it to your table. The second you walk in you a strong smell of what seems to be p**p, it's very off putting and made me want to turn around, also there is anywhere from 10-15 employees standing around at the front counter or in the back and the place is filthy, it was honestly cleaner outside then in the store, the ground is littered with crumbs and the seats are filthy, the soda station has spilt soda and empty wrappers on the counter. read more

Lately this location has been off their game. Sure they are fast but they are constantly making mistakes. Last week, I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and I got a not-spicy sandwich. Didn't realize it until I got home. Today, I order a double butter burger, and the second patty was nearly raw! I took one bite and had to throw out the patty! Disgusting! I will be taking my business to another Culver's worth driving to. I've been coming here nearly weekly for years and this is the worst it's been. My family and I go to this Culver's frequently. The service is always quick and friendly. This location was recently remodeled. It's modern with a flat-screen TV. They've also been very helpful with my kids' food allergies. Culvers is known for their Butterburgers. You are able to order the burgers with multiple toppings - cheese, mushrooms, onions, etc. In addition, their burgers are available on various breads. In addition, Culvers serves chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, dinners, and fish options. You are able to order these items as a value basket. The combo comes standard with fries, mashed potatoes, side salad, or green beans and a soda. You can upgrade your combo to include soup, cheese curds, onion rings, or a shake/malt. The kids' menu includes a butter burger, butter burger with cheese, grilled cheese, corn dog, or chicken tenders. These items include fries or applesauce and various drinks. If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. I love Culvers and worked for one for 4 years and I know that the job is really not very hard. They're all about hospitality, this store is an exception. Every person that I interacted with at this location gave me a nasty stare and was down right unfriendly. No one asked me how I was or seemed to have any customer service skills at all. We ordered two crispy chicken sandwiches, both with mayo added and one with bacon as well. We were with friends who ordered after us. Our friends got their food within 5 minutes of sitting down while we waited for 15 minutes after that until we went up to the counter and a manager finally, promptly grabbed our food that was sitting out and threw it on a tray and brought it out with a "sorry bout that". Then we very quickly realized that my food was made wrong and when I went up to request a refund for my order, I was told that it wasn't possible by the "2nd assistant manager". She didn't ask which of our items needed to be remade and actually remade the wrong one. Overall, very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. It was sad because we don't have culvers in california and we were going to buy more food for the road and decided not to. I went through the drive through tonight and when i got to the little order area it was complete silence for a few minutes so I said Hello? A girl responded saying they are closing at 7 tonight so I looked down and it was 7 on the dot. What frustrates me is that I was there before 7 however the girl operating the drive through purposely didn't take my order or ask what I wanted because I came closer to 7.
