Super super friendly staff. In addition to being friendly at the counter, the restrooms were clean and the workers are busy busing tables. At 6 PM on Friday and the place is absolutely jammed. You can always expect consistency at Culver's. read more

Anna answered the phone I can thry drive thru . I had to callno silverware. I told them they owe me a dinner her reply is there anything wrong with the food. How would I know I have no silverware to eat it. If I wanted finger food I would go across the way to Taco Bell. Anna very snippy. Rude to say the least. Where do these kids learn customer service as they have no education on satisfying a customer. Just how am I to eat this food.... Anna needs to be on the outside looking in. She would not be on my payroll, no way. read more

What can you say it's Culver's No mater what I order it's always good. Owner works hand in hand with the kids making sure there's no screwing around in the kitchen. Most regulars know the owner by name. Matt Miller. If you see Matt tell him Earl sent you and maybe he'll give you a free custard. LOL. Just joking. But fill out survey on the back of your receipt. And you get a flavor of the day free ! read more

Food service is fantastic. The place is so clean and spacious. Love their fishburgers.

The food was good like always, but the ladies working the drive through had an additude (idk if she was having a bad day or not) but the fact that we got a stare down was not okay. read more

Culver's is a very good chain usually, but this location was lackluster to say the least. They got 4/5 of our orders wrong, and put hardly any toppings on our food. The tables and floor were dirty, and the employees, while still polite, were doing the bare minimum in terms of customer service. read more

Food 4/5 - I'm not a big fast food person but sometimes you just have to. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The salad ingredients were fresh which isn't always the case with fast food salads. The ice cream flavor was just enough to hit the sweet tooth. Service / Ambiance 4/5 - The staff was welcoming and service was fast. We got our food within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Dining area was clean and there were plenty of works walking around cleaning. read more

Being originally from Chicago and having a cabin up in Hayward, a visit to Wisconsin is only a yearly occurrence now that I live in Los Angeles. One of the highlights of the 6 hour drive up is a stop at Culver's, another once a year occurrence for me. It is so sad to be so disappointed by something you only get once a year. We stopped at Culver's today during our drive up. We ordered in the drive thru, starting with butter burgers with everything on them. The burger was so dry I had to choke it down. Just a bun, patty, two pickles, red onion and some ketchup and mustard. I also ordered cheese curds, the order I look forward to most. I asked if they had marinara sauce because the combination of the two is the best. They confirmed they did and I was elated (not all Culver's have Mariana FYI). Well, once we got our food guess what, no sauce was in our bag, so another food item I had to choke down. So dry. Also, marinara is listed on the receipt so no excuse to not have it We ended with chocolate malts, with extra malt. They tasted just like chocolate shakes, couldn't taste a hint of malt in them. In addition to all of this, they didn't give us any napkins in our to go bag, in the drive thru (where napkins are very needed). They forgot to give us the water was asked for and our bill was almost $40, for an extremely below average experience. The carelessness is inexcusable. I hate to say it, but my tradition of getting Culver's during my once a year trip has officially ended. Sadly, this isn't the first time I have been disappointed with Culver's during the past few yearly trips. Looks like it's Wendy's from now on! read more

Your single bacon cheeseburgers are awesome! I always check to make sure they're not doubles!!

i've been to a good amount of culver's in my life and this one takes the crown. i travel back and forth from minnesota and chicago and i will never not stop by this culver's, whether im hungry or not. the customer service, the food is just unbeatable. always fresh, made with extra love (i can just taste it). i'm currently sitting, eating a culver's thinking about the food at the Mauston location. unreal. should be rated #1 culver's in the nation. read more

By far the best Culver's we've visited, our food got to us quick the place was clean and there was a male at the front register who's named Grant he is full of energy and was very kind, he made our experience ten times better!! read more

Great fast food burgers. Tastes like Shake Shack, but better AND cheaper. Fries were cooked and salted perfectly too. Only downside is Pepsi and not Coke products. Service was splendid! read more

This is one of the best Culver's I've visited! The staff was friendly and we got out food fast. It was hot and very tasty. They have a nice outdoor dining spot and the indoor seats were very clean. I witnessed a staff member working hard to wipe down a booth and she was very thorough. My hubby and kids love Culver's, so ifI have to stop in at one I would like it to be like this one. read more

My dad came home crying and quit the first day he started working here. Also That was a joke and I was being funny and the food is shit and should never be aten unless your ass wants to get food poisoning and im talking about roaches, dick shavings and foreskin all in the salad and burgers. Plus it takes you guys 5 hours to give people atleast ONE food item. read more

We love to stop at Culvers when in Wisconsin. Bleach smell was strong by the front doors, which corners the bathrooms. So we thought, this place is super clean. Food was delicious, as we knew it would be. Service was great. Here's the thing, the only thing we saw that was clean, was the bathrooms? They had just opened, so place should have been spotless. Almost every table was dirty, seats had crumbs on them. the coke machine obviously didn't get wiped down from the night before. Whoever was supposed to close the night before or open that day, really dropped the ball in the dining room. read more

Kind and friendly staff. An illustrious five stars for being the only place in Mauston that serves broccoli.

Best cook to order fast food ever! Fresh never frozen hamburger, amazing fish, soups, salad and custard

Omg best service ever. Jenna was very polite and really nice with serving us as well as giving me my frozen custard. Annah was also really polite in ringing me up. Thanks to the Culver's Team in Mauston for a job well done. Much appreciated. - *Guy with Packers apparel on* there from 12 to 1230 April 10, 2021. read more

Culver's - Just left Culver's with a smile. - Burgers Near Me - Mauston, Wisconsin

I feel like my Culver's reviews are all the same, but it just speaks to the quality and consistency of the chain. Unsurprisingly the Mauston Culver's was clean, bright, the staff courteous and friendly, the bathroom was tidy and in good working order, and the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I've taken to ordering Team Scoopie meals because you get almost as much food as an adult combo plus a scoop of custard for a couple bucks less. That's my kind of deal. I knew we were grilling out burgers later that night so I opted for the two-piece chicken tenders meal. The breading is a little crumbly and got all over, but that effect would probably be lessened if I just bit into the tender like a normal person instead of pulling off bite-sized pieces. I got the BBQ sauce which was thick and on the sweeter side. The flavor of the day was Cookie Dough Craving and the Mauston Culver's does not mess around - everyone I saw with a scoop had a PILE of cookie dough on top. I ordered my kid's lunch with the intention of getting one of those luscious scoops, but as usual I was thwarted by the generous portions and could not eat another bite. Serious bummer, but I can keep my custard coupon and use it at another time. It's been this way since I was a kid, and it's a system I truly appreciate. read more

I always love Culver's. Stopped on my road trip. It was insanely busy, but the service was prompt and food quality as expected. Definitely choose this over other fast food while on your road trip! read more

I came at the suggestion of another yelper. I'll be back if I pass through again. I have never been to Culver's, or even heard of it. But they are all over here in the Wisconsin area. Fast food, but a step up from McDonalds I guess. I had a summer salad special and was very happy with the choice. It was very good. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors had umbrellas. Nice. Wifi, worked better inside than out, but none the less, it worked. Staff here were super nice. Parking was very easy. read more

I love Culver's. I have expressed my love once before this in another review for a different location. I wish we had this restaurant chain back home in Toronto, but it is probably safer for my pants that there isn't. I dream about their cheeseburgers. I am not joking, its that good. Every location I have been to (thus far) was sparkling clean and the staff are very polite. Don't forget to try the fried cheese curds with ranch and marinara for dipping! read more

Standard Culves but VERY VERY busy. Plenty of places to sit. My biggest complaint is the wait at the drink machine and then sauces. Every time Ive come here there is a wait at the drink machine and to grab straws, napkins and sauces. read more

We like to stop at this culvers because the quality of the food is very good. Today we ordered the free scoop but they charged us for it. We had the coupon. When we asked for a refund, they said it was too much of a hassle. That was it. They were pretty rude about it too. I guess since they messed up, they could have given us a coupon for something. Not great customer service. The food is good so we'll still give them 3 stars. read more

I've only ever gone through the drive thru and they have always been good. Today we decided to go in. It was busy as expected at noon, all the tables were dirty and I asked a woman if she could wipe it down. She acted annoyed but did it. We ordered, I had the cod sandwich. Since the top bun was off I noticed there was four little shreds of cheese. Since it cost $9 I asked Barb if I could have one with cheese. She then said there is cheese on the one I was holding, I pointed and counted out the shreds and she just stared at me and asked with an attitude what I wanted. I then asked for a refund as I saw she could care less. Some other man that worked there hassled me but eventually gave me a refund. I will happily take my business elsewhere.... read more

Normally Culvers' employees are pretty good but these guys are seriously exceptional. I've never seen such good service at a "fastish food" restaurant. The manager (Andy?) seemed to have a good rapport with his staff and helped me stay in my wife's good graces when I messed up her order. read more

Worst Culver's meal we have ever had. Greasy chicken tenders and stale cheese curds. So disappointing.

Every year I drive from NYC to Minneapolis, one of the things I must do before I leave the midwest is of course....go to Culvers. What makes this place different from all the others you will encounter? Well, it's the largest damn Culvers in the country! Which isn't saying much but hey, there's plenty of parking, it's right off the highway, and being a flagship store, I would assume the standards of service are more rigorously reviewed here. If you're at a Culvers, all you need to know is BUTTER....BURGER. That's right, now all you gotta say is 'Murica. Get that burger cooked with butter, enjoy that greasy goodness, and wash it all down with a frozen custard because those are the highlights of the menu. Anything else and you would be doing yourself a disservice. read more

While on a cross-country road trip, driving from Chicago to Akron, we got hungry and decided to find somewhere cheap (but good) to stop. Yelp pointed us to Culver's, and while we'd never heard of it before, we decided to stop. This ended up being a very good decision. I opted for a "ButterBurger" (which is basically a super-rich cheeseburger with a pickle on top) and some cheese curds, which were both excellent. I also tried the Culver's special root beer, which was definitely a cut above the usual Barq's. My two friends ordered a burger, fries, and a shake and a chicken salad (which was a very large portion), and both of them reported that their meals were quite good as well. The prices were reasonable, with the bill coming to a little under $30 for the three of us. All in all, it's probably not worth driving out for - but if you're on the road and looking for a great, quick bite, Culver's is definitely the move. read more

We, three merry Wisconsin-based friends recently visited this Culvers for an afternoon treat. We were first impressed by the bathrooms' privacy and Spanish-style masonry that the Mauston area is known for. After enjoying our curds and ice cream we took a walk to the neighboring Red Geranium gift shop. As a warning to readers, don't be fooled by the inviting appearance of the flower boxes and adirondack chairs that the front porch of the Red Geranium has to offer. The charming store was closed and were were instantly stung by their security hornets. We hobbled back into the Culvers as the sting wounds began to swell. It was there that we were offered ice, Benadryl ointment, bandaids, and free mango smoothie samples. It's places like these that warm the ice-tolerant hearts of three Scandinavian-Americans, and give the Midwest its charming reputation. Thank you, Culvers of Mauston. read more

Honestly, I had a great experience at culver's today. I got my food relatively quickly, even though CO-VID is around and we showed up with around 20 boy scouts. Food was great, and all employees had masks on. Whenever I go to a fast food restaurant, I like to sort of mess around with the employees. I asked an employee by the name "Brett" if the entire staff had to wear the same shoes. He answered by saying that there's a dress code and everyone has to wear similar black shoes. He was super enthusiastic and informative. I was just passing through on my way to Illinois, but still. This guy deserves a raise! read more

This experience was excellent!!! My family and I were coming in at 10:30 (just half an hour before closing) The cashier was REALLY kind and attentive. This deserves MORE than 5 stars. Culver's in Mauston is just about as good as every other Culver's. I can go to any Culver's along the same stretch of interstate and get the same food, same service, and the same quality of selection. To me, that makes a chain of "fast food" restaurants a staple. Unlike McDonald's, my experience at any Culver's is the same as the last and I never have to worry. Drive Thru: Service is slow, but each meal is made specifically to order, including the meats. The staff are always very kind and quick to rectify any mistakes in the order and the food is always piping hot. Dining Room: I've never been to a messy Culver's and this one is no exception. The staff inside are very courteous and quick to bring your meal to your table. Customer Service: Every time I've been to this location, there is someone on the floor for quality control that will stop by and ask how the meal is and if we'd like to try their famous custard. I've never had a bad experience with the staff. Complaints: Just like with every Culver's I have been to, the beef is often very greasy and the curds have too much breading. Neither of those have been enough to drive me away from eating at Culver's and I will likely continue eating at this chain for as long as I am a resident of Wisconsin. read more
