Love the food. Actually a running joke since I moved to Florida that I'm a bit addicted to the shakes. Get one nearly every day. Went in today. Crowded drive thru so went inside. Ordered, no problem. Fish sand combo w/ a shake. I stand against the wall patiently. Eventually a runner is given my order to take outside to a car, but is advised I'm standing right there. No shake. I advise was supposed to have a shake. They call for it. manager takes it from the sunny window where it was made 15 mins prior. It was separated, melted and a glorified $6.41 chocolate milk. I asked for a new one niceley. Mgr kept saying about the kid "he was just doing his job." I said I never said a word to him, I'm asking you, the manager. He told them to make another. Ten minutes later he walks by and I sarcastically say "so now I'll get a good shake but the food is cold." He then said i was blaming "the girl" who was making the shake. This is a nice guy, pleasant enough, but teach him how to solve a simple, non-issue problem without blaming me and all the staff and making a scene when a simple re-make of the shake would have been the smart course of action. Also a have a nice day, cause now I'm less "addicted" to Culvers and less likely to joke about it w/ friends. In fact, not inclined to go back for a bit. Honeymoon is over. Not what I was expecting. I've heard a lot of good things about Culver's. But personally I thought the cheese burger was tasteless. I'm not a snooty burger type. Just your plain Jane cheese burger with pickles and ketchup. But this burger had zero flavor. The shake was flavorful but you could not drink it with a straw. Hence the name Concrete Shake I guess. Come to find out the Franchise owner is Very rude. We've eaten here a few times and last time the fries and cheese curds were COLD by the time we received them. So, This time I asked to cashier to please make sure the Fries were fresh because I seen some fries and onion rings under the heat lamp. She proceeded to ask another team worker and the franchise owner was walking by and Very Rude snapped our fries are always fresh. I went to say something to him and proceeded to walk away and was mumbling under his breath as if I need him and he didn't need me as a customer. To be honest, I had never even heard about Culver`s before they opened in Margate, Fl. However, based on the reviews already listed for the restaurant, I thought I would give it a try. And, I am so glad I did. The restaurant appeal is really nice outside and clean inside. The person who took my order was very helpful, and the young lady who brought the food was also very pleasant. I did not have to wait long and my mushroom and Swiss burger was excellent. They also feature crinkle fries, which I LOVE!!! Also, it`s nice that there is a self service beverage island. I got a strawberry sundae to take home and boy-o-boy the yogurt is delicious. I live very close and know I will be there very often. We ordered at the drive through. Something's wrong with their speaker system I could hardly hear them. Maybe that's why they got our order wrong . Ordered 4 butter burgers with bacon and they forgot the bacon. Ordered the turtle sundae and instead I got a vanilla concrete mixer. Cheese curds were tasteless and so were the French fries. The burgers were very dry and over cooked. I Think Wendy's makes a better burger. Very disappointed. As far as a fast food restaurant this operation exceeds anything I have ever seen. Food is restaurant quality not fast food quality. The staff is friendly which is amazing in these Covid times. The prices are reasonable and quality is superb. We ordered a fried shrimp dinner and it comes with roll and butter, fresh broccoli and real mashed potatoes. The shrimp were nice size. I don't know how they do it but I am impressed and I spent 40 years in the restaurant business in management. The custard is excellent and worth a trip just for this. This location is terrible. This visit will be my last. They always get orders wrong. While I was there tonight, 3 cars behind me got their orders before me. All I ordered was 2 concert mixers. I waited in line for 30 min just to place my order and I was the 3rd car in line...then proceeded to wait another 25 for my order. 10 of those min was waiting at the window just to pay....When they brought it out to me it was incorrect. I asked for chocolate and they gave me vanilla. This has happened in the past and I've just taken it and not complained but tonight I had my heart set on chocolate. I told the nice young man my order was wrong and he took it back to bring me my correct order. He comes back out, with who I'm assuming was the manager who proceeds to basically try to blame me and ask if the person who took my order read back my order. Culver's is new here in the Pembroke Pines area. I do not typically post reviews and I know they are just getting started and trying to find a groove but..... Like any new establishment, the line was quite long. After about 30mins waiting to order, it took another 30 mins to get the food. Then, I had to sit another 20 to get out of line due to the cars in front of me not receiving their food (people were getting out of cars to see what the hold up was). Needless to say, the food was cold by the time I got home (7 mins away). I have to order a gluten free bun (which is good btw), so they do not assemble the burger. However, I ordered a double and received a single with the cheese stuck to they bottom of container because it was put in first , then (single) burger on top. I took a pic but am not able to post it. I feel like maybe for the inconvenience of customers waiting a crazy amount of time for fast food, a manager (or someone) should have maybe made their way out with apologies and possibly vouchers for free custard. First bad experience at this location. Young man at the register had difficulty putting our order into the system. We repeated it twice and he finally got it on his third attemp. When our food arrived two out of three orders were incorrect. Also our ordered coffee was misssing. Went to the front counter and was told that by the "manager" that the order was incorrect because we ordered it wrong. all of my questions to the manager were answered with negative replies implying that we apparently had no common sense and his untrained staff were adhering to culver's guidelines. when you order coffee the customer should know to order cream and sugar.dont assume it is by the condiments or that the person taking your order would ask if you want it.(manager said most people drink it black so it is our responsibility to order cream and sugar and we should not expect to be asked if we want it). our burgers were made with cheese.I asked if they all came that way because we didnt order cheese. manager said no they come plain but we must have ordered them wrong....i guess the business motto there is the customer is always wrong read more

Every time I come here it's a huge disappointment. They never get my order right, it's always missing something. I try to give it a chance but I give up. Very disappointed with the drive thru service today. I ordered a plain single cheeseburger, an order of cheese curds, and a diet root beer. At the window, I was given my drink, and was told to pull forward for the rest of my order. I take a sip od my soda, and it was a regular coke, not diet root beer. I got a hold of the food runner, and gave him my drink, to tell them inside that I got the wrong one. He came out with another drink shortly after, but not my food. He asked me to check my drink to make sure it was the right one. I openedd the lid to take a sip. And it was only three quarters full. He offered to go back in, and give me more, but I was in a rush, and left it be. He did however take the number I was given for my food. I told him I was still waiting on my food, and he said he was going to get it. So I waited and waited, while 3 other cars got there after me, got their food and left. He came out with a bag of food, thinking it was mine, but it was for the car behind me. Then another runner comes out, and says she'll go and make me a fresh order. He came back out again, and couldn't understand why I hadn't gotten my food yet. I had let him know that they were remaking my order. I sat waiting patiently for my food for about 18 minutes. At this point, I had called the store, and was about to ask for the manager, when she was coming out with my food, so I hung up. I go to take a bite out of my burger, and it was raw. I couldn't go back to the store, because I had to be somewhere, and couldn't wait anymore. I like Culvers, and today was probably just a bad day. I hope next time will be a better one. read more

I went here last night with my husband having discovered Culver's custard ice cream last week in a road trip between Chicago and Milwaukee. It has the potential for 5 stars but just opened and cashier seemed confused. Next time I will decide what my kids and I want before we go. Huge menu with huge options. We've been watching this place going up and it finally opened. We like trying new things and had never heard of this place. Decided to go in, drive thru was 12 deep. Went up to the counter. Very friendly. Decided instead of burgers we got dinners. I got Salisbury Steak with gravy broccoli and mash potatoes. My wife got the pot roast with the same. Also got an order of onion rings. You pay, go your drinks at a soda dispenser and find a seat. They bring you your food. When we got it it was luke warm, though the potatoes were hot. The pot roast was tender. The steak was OK. A person checked on us and did offer to reheat. We declined the offer. The onion rings were very good. My wife went back and got a hot fudge sundae with their custard ice cream. She hot me a root beer float. It was good but from a traditional float should have had more ice cream. The parking beyond terrible. We park handicap and it took us 20 min to get out. Long line in the drive thru since it's new. Placed a big order and they got it right so that made me happy! The mushroom Swiss burger was really good and the side salad (had to get my veggies in!) was made with a nice spring mix. Great value and quality for a fast food place! Finished off with the flavor of the day Oreo overload and it hit the spot. My kids had the burger and corn dog kids meal, but they really loved the pretzel bites and cheese curds. Never again. I read the reviews and decided to try it. Reviews said the Cheese Curds are to die for. Wrong. It's just mozzerella stcicks in a popcorn shape and no sauce. No marinara no nothing. It's ok plain, but mozzerella sticks needs sauce. I aslo ordered a Double Mush/Swiss Burger and Concrete shake w/ Brownies, Snickers and Pecans(for $1 extra). Mozzerella popcorn(Cheese Curds), burger, concrete shake for $15.40. Burger was good. Mozz popcorn was good but became dry with no sauce. Concrete shake is good. Price=No Good. My 2nd time here and i am amazed at the quality of this food. I was expecting fast food quality food but instead they have old time diner quality food. The line speed is fast in the drive through, the food comes out hot, the portions are generous and the custard is superb. This was my second visit and i plan to make it a weekly addition. We had the butter burgers, the Harvest veggie burger, fried shrimp dinner and chopped steak dinner. As a former restaurant executive i have heard of this chain but never lived near one till now.
