    Single butter burger
    Jaclyn W.

I came in here on Wednesday and ordered a single butter burger combo meal which was around $12. The burger was kind of sad. Honestly, it just wasn't as good as other locations I've been to. I really love Culver's burgers, but this was just mediocre at best. I got the diet root beer which was delicious and the fries were fine. I had a coupon for a free medium concrete mixer with any purchase of a combo meal. I selected cookie dough mixed with marshmallow cream. The concrete mixer was delicious and I did enjoy it. The restaurant was clean, I went there maybe 30 minutes after opening so they were not very busy. The service was good. Everyone was friendly.

    Walleye dinner...skimpy fries. Doesn't include drink for$$$$

Wanted to try the walleye. Hubs isn't a fish fan but he saw the sourdough melt and ordered that. The bill total for a 2 piece walleye dinner and a sourdough basket with onion rings was $28+ ???? Really??? The dinner comes with 2 sides but NO DRINK...and the upcharge soup I got was Luke warm. I sent back and was told the temp was on low. WELL TURN IT UP OR YOU'RE GONNA GET SOMEONE SICK!!! There were less fries than there should be but I didn't finish em in either case only because I did not finish the fish which was good at least. The sourdough melt was greasy but onion rings decent. For the money I would go elsewhere. Bummer because lent is almost over and I loves me a good fishy.

Love the real, big, plump strawberries served on a Culver’s sundae!

Absolutely ridiculous. I'll update how the food is when we get it, not anticipating it to be good. Edit: yeah.. no shock here. Disgusting soggy fries. Stale, chewy "tacos", cold burgers... not a single positive thing to say. Even the pop tasted gross and like the lines were dirty. We'll never be back.

So got back in the car and drove to the drive thru. I asked the kid who asked for my order why the front door was locked. He said he didn't know. So back to the front door. This time it was unlocked and we walked in. There were two families in the sit down area. We used the self service kiosk to start our order. The teen behind the counter said the lobby was closed. I asked what he meant. The manager stepped forward and explained that she was short handed and therefore they could only take orders via the drive thru. I said I was using the kiosk to order and so I wouldn't be using an employee to order. She said she was the only one cooking the food. I asked if I used the drive thru, I could place an order. She said yes. I then asked if I could place my order using the non-contact kiosk. She said no, she was too busy to watch two moniters of orders. This was my third visit in two weeks. The first row visits were great. I am not sure there will be a fourth. This place just opened in July 2025. I doubt if it will last to its one year anniversary.

Today we ordered a maple bacon milkshake, peanut butter milkshake, 1/4 pound grilled cheese burger on toast, 1/2 pound New Orleans burger and a shareable basket of parmesan truffle fries. Let's start with the positives, the shakes were well made and not overwhelmingly sweet and we liked that a lot. My husband's 1/2 pound burger seemed a little small and my grilled cheese burger said it would be on Texas toast but it seemed like it was sourdough bread and not really thick cut like Texas toast should be. I was looking forward to eating here because the pictures of the fries online looked long and thick cut, the basket of fries we got didn't look like that at all and lacked Parmesan cheese. The negative experience was the fact the water tasted weird. I took one sip and tasted a weird chemical taste but my husband and I didn't complain, we just paid and left. I don't know if it was the water or the cup but it definitely had a weird taste. Overall, the experience was ok. I think we had higher expectations seeing all the pictures online. The name of the place threw us both off because we thought it was a Latino owned burger joint with a Mexican twist but that wasn't the case at all.

So, we stopped. We are not fans of the kiosks, and asked if we could order at the register. A young man ( Jaqwan ) immediately stepped over with a smile and let us know he would be happy to help. He gave us honestly the absolute best service we have ever had in a fast food establishment. Seriously. I was also impressed with how clean it was compared to our last visit. I met the new GM. She told me they're under new management. They have a great team. Jaqwan deserves a raise and a promotion. We will be spreading the good word to come back to Shorewood Taco Bell.

Every other time I've been here she does not greet me (or even look at me sometimes), she'll throw my drinks and food in my face, and just slam the window shut instead of saying any goodbyes. I was feeling bad because I thought she may be mute, but she spoke very loud and clear when giving me attitude. Listen, I get that working night shifts in fast food is not at all a pleasurable experience, and I have great respect for those working these shifts. But treating customers like it's our fault you're on the clock is very odd- you're stuck here whether I order or not. Don't work in customer service if you don't know how to deliver customer service.
