Service was great and the place was clean. Personally, I didn't care for the coleslaw. Recipe It was a very thick mayo, but I could see some people loving it. I'm not a wedge fan. They came with my basket. But honestly we went there for the meat and it was definitely worth going back for. Will be back, but we will probably try at the drive-through and just order our meat à la cart without the sides.

Have to immediately put this out there... service was great!!…read more I yelped fast casual on a road trip. Amba was a little off off 55 but o simply didn't want some of the more traditional fast casual spots. So we selected Amba. We pulled up, and there was one table of customers. The atmosphere Ilic's clean but had a hamburger joint feel to it. I started to question if this was the right choice. If you stop reading before what I have to say below, trust me you'll love this place. We walked up to the digital menu which has a feel of a franchise even through the rest of the restaurant feels like an independent mom/pop joint. So I order a bowl- rice, greens, falafel, cucumber/tomato mix, picked onions, olives, traditional. Hummus and feta. Then we get to the sauce... I'm simply overwhelmed with all the choices. The nice man behind the counter gave me a little dollop of 5-6 sauces and they were all amazing... ! You can't go wrong with any of them. I went with The Amba sauce but really they all were so flavorful! My bowl was huge! More than I could eat in one sitting (similar to the quantity of a chipotle bowl which I also can never finish). The falafel!!! Oh my! Probably one of the most flavorful falafel that I've ever had. Yum! Yum. Yum! My husband had the chicken shawarma ... he said his was awesome, I'm pretty sure awesome chicken shawarma was no where as good as my falafel. I'm not a soda drinker, but if I was, I'd be super excited about their no HFCS soda. All flavors are made with real cane sugar! I was super happy with yelp's suggestion. There's different seating arrangements…read moreto fit your comfortability whether it's a table, booth or single seat with a storefront view. Today we ordered a maple bacon milkshake, peanut butter milkshake, 1/4 pound grilled cheese burger on toast, 1/2 pound New Orleans burger and a shareable basket of parmesan truffle fries. Let's start with the positives, the shakes were well made and not overwhelmingly sweet and we liked that a lot. My husband's 1/2 pound burger seemed a little small and my grilled cheese burger said it would be on Texas toast but it seemed like it was sourdough bread and not really thick cut like Texas toast should be. I was looking forward to eating here because the pictures of the fries online looked long and thick cut, the basket of fries we got didn't look like that at all and lacked Parmesan cheese. The negative experience was the fact the water tasted weird. I took one sip and tasted a weird chemical taste but my husband and I didn't complain, we just paid and left. I don't know if it was the water or the cup but it definitely had a weird taste. Overall, the experience was ok. I think we had higher expectations seeing all the pictures online. The name of the place threw us both off because we thought it was a Latino owned burger joint with a Mexican twist but that wasn't the case at all.

Every other time I've been here she does not greet me (or even look at me sometimes), she'll throw my drinks and food in my face, and just slam the window shut instead of saying any goodbyes. I was feeling bad because I thought she may be mute, but she spoke very loud and clear when giving me attitude. Listen, I get that working night shifts in fast food is not at all a pleasurable experience, and I have great respect for those working these shifts. But treating customers like it's our fault you're on the clock is very odd- you're stuck here whether I order or not. You use to get meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and hot peppers on your sandwiches. I just ordered #2 Big John last week and it had a whisper of all those ingredients. I would call it a Baby John now. It was the thinnest, skinniest sandwich I've seen in a long time. I counted 2 slices of beef, barely any veggies & it doesn't come with cheese. Luckily I brought 2 slices of cheese for a snack later at work. I ended up adding it to the sandwich to try to bulk it up. It was good but needed more meat. Paying extra for meat would basically put the sandwich where it should have been the first place. My sandwich looked nothing like the picture on their website which I included for comparison. Do better Jimmy John's -at least bulk it up with lettuce and tomato if you wont make a proper sandwich. I'm just wondering if the sandwich maker held back so he could add it to his own sandwich later on? IDK - but there is not much value for your money- only convenience.
