Where shall I begin? It all started when I was trying to find a quick and easy spot for me to grab lunch during my break today. Usually sandwiches are the way to go for me. Little did I know how much of a difference the food here would be, definitely no where near the quality of Jersey Mikes or Ike's Sandwiches. I gazed upon the menu and tried to pick something easy that couldn't go wrong. Maybe you reading this will like some of the other options, but DO NOT order the Chicken Cesar Wrap. I'd rather eat gas station chilli cheese hotdogs that have been sitting in my car all day instead of that. The Sandwich made me want to throw up, don't like bacon bits, I don't eat pork. And whatever dressing was on it was too much and made me nauseous. I sat down inside trying to eat this monstrosity while the two male employees and the female employee Yap their brains out at MAX volume. In my opinion, unprofessional when a customer is inside dining, at-least it distracted the taste so I could finish ruining my day eating the entire sandwich. Feel free to test your luck and order something else here, but I would take that sh*t to go. I would have taken a picture of the sandwich, but I did not want to ever be reminded of it. I ordered sandwiches which came to $27.00. I went to pay with a $50 dollar bill, the fella wouldn't take my money. He stated they don't accept anything larger than a $20 dollar bill, and that there's nothing he could do. I left and will not return. Ridiculous. read more

Took over 45 minutes to deliver 2 sandwiches 6 minutes away from their store. They stated they were super busy and only had one delivery driver. But they didn't wait to make the sandwiches so by the time they were delivered they were soggy and not great. read more

The air conditioner does not work and the mayonnaise is out in the 100 degree heat. Food poisoning is a result of improper climate control. I will be reporting this location to the health dept. additionally the workers explained that corporate was aware of the air conditioning issue but refused to fix it even though the food spoils. Holy crap I walked into the location today to grab a sandwich and for the whole 2 minutes I was there I saw the workers and there was literal sweat on there foreheads and IT WAS DRIPPING!!! I asked them why the ac wasn't on and they said it's broken, so I asked how hot it was in there and they said it was 88 degrees in there. I feel bad for the workers working in that heat I'm pretty sure that's illegal for them to be working in that heat and I will come back in a week and if it still that in there for those poor workers I will be contacting corporate!!! read more

I ordered a sandwich for lunch. I am a 4 minute walk from this location but unable to leave, so I ordered delivery. 50 minutes and 2 phone calls later, still no sandwich. I called and cancelled my order to reverse the charge on my credit card. Now My lunch break has passed and I can't even get something else to eat so I work hungry for the rest of the day. Horrible. I showed up to this location for the 6th time this week. Since I eat lunch here daily I work down the strip and it's to my easiest convience, each time I go here the short tattoed/gauged dark haired check out lady gives me the WORST attitude and dirty looks. I think this is because the manager told me if I purchase a drink on the same day that I could walk back down and refill for free since i'm here daily and already ordered it. I then relayed this information to this girl and she yelled at me today and said "DO NOT COME BACK AND DO THIS AGAIN" the guy who has told me multiple times that this was in fact okay was standing behind her on the phone looking at me like with a "she's rediculous" face and he waved me out like it was okay for me to head out with my refill now so did. I come here atleast 3 times a week and now I plan to never return. read more

I love Jimmy John's however this location seems to be a hit-or-miss. One time you will get a great sandwhich and the next time you get bread that is so hard that it crumbles. This time the bottom of my bread was so hard I had to remove it completely. They need to just toss bread that is stale or overcooked. A black VW Golf with a JJ delivery sign on the roof drive by our house this morning and threw a full large JJ's soda cup out their car window onto the street. I was with my daughter who is too young to understand, and she asked what's that.. I had to explain that he littered and that people shouldn't do that. Good growing experience?There's only 2 JJ's in our immediate area, and we found the car parked in front of this one. Jimmy John's on Brook Forest used to be a place we frequented weekly for carry out. They used to be very good. In the last month they seem to have had a turn over in staff and/or management. Sandwiches are sloppy and more times than not are wrong. Also, they are no longer labeling their sandwiches so every time I order I have to ask them to do so and get attitude. The staff is more interested in talking about their personal lives then making sandwiches. Half the time you can't even read the writing. I am very disgruntled and will be taking my business elsewhere. Maybe I'm just a small fish in a big pond but I order 5 to 10 sandwiches on a weekly basis. Never again....they lost a good steady customer today and word of mouth goes a long way. read more

This is hands down one of the worst experiences I had with customer service. My coworker and I drove 20 mins to grab a sandwich. Once we got there we were told that that could not serve us because their system had just been shutdown from a power outage. We offered to pay cash and over the amount that would be due to include a tip. The women responded they simply could not do that because the system is down( apparently if the system is down the 6 employees didn't know how to make a sandwich). We told them we would wait, and sat down at a table. A few minutes later a lady came in, offered to pay cash, and the women at the counter gladly assisted her. She left, a gentleman came in order, paid cash and left. We sat for another minute at which point not one of the 6 employees addressed us and told us they could accept cash now. read more

I'm not sure why this location has such a low rating? I love and prefer JJ's over all the other sub shops around and I always visit this location. I've only ever seen teenagers working here, but they're super competent and friendly. I'm always warmly greeted and carefully listened to here. I always ask for no tomato and not ONCE have I ever had to pick off tomatoes. It might not be a big deal to most, but I can confidently say that no other fast-food type establishment listens when I say no tomato. It's like they purposely put extra on. Some are saying the prices are high, but honestly JJ's is cheaper than Subway if you really think about it. I can't walk out of subway without spending at least $8+ for a single footlong thats mostly a mound of lettuce and mayo with 4 measly slices of cheese and about 6 slices of ultra thin lunch meats, or $12+ for a meal. For $8+ here you get double the amount of meat and cheese with an appropriate amount of lettuce and mayo, and around $11+ for a meal. If you compare the 2 this way an actual FRESH GOURMET sandwich from JJ's ends up being a way better deal. Plus the taste is incomparable and I don't feel sick after eating at JJ's. read more
