I came in here on Wednesday and ordered a single butter burger combo meal which was around $12. The burger was kind of sad. Honestly, it just wasn't as good as other locations I've been to. I really love Culver's burgers, but this was just mediocre at best. I got the diet root beer which was delicious and the fries were fine. I had a coupon for a free medium concrete mixer with any purchase of a combo meal. I selected cookie dough mixed with marshmallow cream. The concrete mixer was delicious and I did enjoy it. The restaurant was clean, I went there maybe 30 minutes after opening so they were not very busy. The service was good. Everyone was friendly. read more

I ordered a small onion ring. Stood inside and waited about 10 mins. I left assuming they are fresh out the fryer only to have lukewarm from under the heat lamp. After I got home & reheated my onion rings which were not that great, I called and spoke to Paige who assured me I can get a replacement onion ring next time I come in. I came in with my receipt, spoke to a manager and they pulled out a binder looking for Paige's note. Well Paige did not document my complaint. She did not do her job. The manager actually called her to see if Paige remembered it and she did not. So today's manager couldn't do anything for me. Very disappointed to get lukewarm food, ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE from 2 managers. It was suggested that I contact another yet another manager. Really? A few Sundays ago, my wife & stopped here just to get ice cream for her and lemon ice for me and this place was a disaster. My wife LOVES Culvers, I think its just oay, I've eaten at more of these locations than I'd like to admit. I also think I can make a better burger than them, but that's another issue. Anyway we walk in and though its 60 degrees outside, this place in burning up in there, no A/C or nothing, feels like the kitchen. Only 2-3 teenagers working there and they are overwhelmed, no manager or anyone over 19 years old. We order our ice cream/lemon ice and after a long 5-10 minutes some half melted ice cream and lemon is brought to us. We went to eat outside to get some air because the place is so warm and stuff and the ice cream/lemon ice is now officially a drink without a straw, we deal with it and enjoy what we can and that's it. My wife emailed the company but got the address wrong (thought this was Plainfield not Joliet), and the Plainfield manager wrote back and then my wife recomplained to the Joliet manager, nothing. I think Culver's over expanded and its now starting to show in the inconsistency of their restuarants, but its fast food (though they call it fast casual), but you know what you're getting in these places and most of the time, it ain't good. read more

Depending on who makes your shakes/ concrete mixers, they might be really good or really watery. I now have to go in the restaurant to get the issue resolved. The receipt they have given me from the bag is the original receipt, so now she has to get the manager who now has to check. They realize they didn't change the receipt apologize and give me my fries. I wish I could give zero stars! I will NEVER go back to another Culvers after the way I was just treated. I used to go to Culvers four times a week since it is close and convenient to my work place. I use the same credit card every time I go yet this time was different. I was told that if my credit card did not have a chip and if I did not have cash that my business did not matter to them. For on, not every credit card has a chip so I find this very hard to believe that they could not take my card. I asked to speak to a manager who was very unhelpful. I asked for the owner of the Franchise and was told no, so I asked for the number to Corporate and was told they could not help me or give me any information. I then asked how they could treat a customer so poorly and why they are refusing to give me any information. Apparently, this question was too much for the manager to handle that I was told if I did not leave, they were going to call the police. If they are going to DISCRIMINATE against the way people pay for their food, they should have signs so customers on their lunch break do not waste their time on a company like this one!
