My husband and I were in the mood for something sweet, so we decided to go to Culver's and boy did we regret it. First, the guy on the drive-thru speaker kept rushing my husband and interrupting before he could finish. Then, after finally getting to say our order (which was a medium peanut butter concrete, a small vanilla concrete, and medium fry) we sat in the drive-thru waiting for our order for nearly 30 minutes. My husband drove us back around and asked what was going on with the order. The guy at the window went to check and we hear a lady say "That order was placed 23 minutes ago!" After that, we got our order but, unsurprisingly at this point, it was wrong. On top of that, there was just a "sorry for the wait"... no sort of compensation for being forgotten was offered. We ended up leaving with our incorrect order because we knew this wasn't something that the staff could handle based on the experience we'd just received. Stopped off on the ride home for a quick bite. We waited for a pretty long time in the drive thru line. 4-5 people waiting in front of us after we paid at the window. Went pretty slow, but the food made up for it. The burger was pretty good, cooked great and good salad on it. The cheese curds were a bit salty in my opinion, I don't know I'm just not crazy for cheese curds. The buttermilk ranch that they have is really good though. I guess depends on what your situation is, because they're pretty slow but the burger is better than McDonald's and Burger King. read more

ICK! Probably the grossest fast food I've ever ordered in my entire life! The greasy slimy mushroom burger should have been my first clue with its mushy bun. The cold in the middle cheese curds that were more like chewing a Super Ball or bubblegum then cheese! And I love cheese curds! Then there was my soda. Just a regular medium soda that the girl in the window could not be bothered to fill up more than 2/3. I asked her if she could top it off. So she filled the rest up with Ice. Honestly, I threw almost all of it away and went down the street to garbage McDonald's. At least it's consistent. I've made alot of my friends mad at me on the west coast when I said that Culver's has the best cheeseburger . Loved this place! I wish California had more places like this. Your service team were extremely nice and very accommodating for my first time having Culver's This restaurant is CLEAN! You can tell the team takes great care of this place . Plenty of room inside and plenty of parking . There was a huge pothole outside though. We had the cheese curds (which blew my mind, the concrete (better than a McFlurry) and the double cheese burger. My wife doesn't eat meat during Lent, and Culver's ads for North Atlantic Cod looked great. I got in the drive through line and my order was quickly and politely taken. Then I sat in line. All the cars in front and behind me received their orders and left. I still sat. Thirty minutes later (after car after car behind me left), I still sat. A food runner stopped and asked for my order number and said they would check on it. A few minutes later another runner asked my order and said they would check, neither ever came back. Finally I went inside. I told a young lady I'd been waiting over thirty minutes, she said "sorry." I told her two runners had asked about my order, but never came back. She asked my order number and looked it up, then asked the kitchen if they had it. I asked for the manager, she said she was the manager. She stuffed my food into bags and handed them to me, not another word. No explanation, no further apology. I will be the first to say the food was very good, but I'll never go back. This Culver's hasn't been open long and we live rather close to it so it's convenient but what is even up with the patties? They look awful. Longest drive through time ever.... Waiters in line for 30 minutes to just wait again for food

the food is good, but the drive through takes FOREVER. we waited in the car for like 45 minutes. the workers were walking really slow and just..."taking their time" they are always forgetting simple stuff like, fries with the kids meal. it says it on the receipt, but not in the bag. they also mess up the ice creams. ask for a cone, no cone. and did it have flavor, no. But folks need to say - SOMEONE get a clue on leadership for crying out loud. The "staff" was not engaged, not friendly - save one, and the place was not clean (trash around the ketchup and napkin dispensers-caked on ketchup on the dispensers - glove on floor - trash cans needed to be emptied, cell phone seen on the preparation table in back where food was prepared) just a few observations. The Culver's in Fort Walton Beach had just one and a half stars when I looked at reviews. It lived up to that rating. My burger was barely lukewarm. Didn't melt the cheese. It's not just the close to an hour wait, getting the wrong food, seeing employees yucking it up with their friends and taking selfies as I sit at the drive thru window. It's hearing that they do not clean their custard machines and have cross contamination issues from ex-employees (not just one, not just disgruntled) I've complained, but corporate just sends it on to the manager who is apparently the root of the problem. They started off pretty rough in the beginning with the long lines with an hour wait times. I thought they'd get better once they got the opening kinks out but that hasn't been the case. The last 3 times going there they've gotten the custard orders wrong and I always ask for no pickles in the sandwiches and each time they've had pickles in them, even though the receipt clearly shows no pickles. Yes, I could easily take them off myself but I'm highly sensitive to the smell and taste of them and the juices just get soaked into the buns and chicken.
